        The effect of oxidant on the electron-transfer reaction of rac- ?? and optically active oxidants were examined. The optical purities of the product for the oxidants were increased in the order of ?? < ?? ∼ ?? < ??. This observation suggests that stereoselective ionic association and electron transfer reaction between complexes are strongly dependent upon geometric structure, orientation and charge of the oxidants.

      • FIDIC 계약조건과 국내계약조건의 클레임 관련조항 비교 연구

        본 연구는 건설시장 개방에 따른 표준계약조건을 정립하기 위해 FIDIC 제정 계약조건과 국내에서 계약조건으로 적용되는 관련법규의 내용을 문헌조사를 통해 비교ㆍ검토하였다. 국내계약조건은 공사관련 사항을 여러 법규에 산발적으로 규정하고 있어 비정형성을 보이고 있으며, 책임기준 또한 모호하며, FIDIC 조건과의 비교분석에서 알수 있듯이 세부적ㅇ니 면에서 많은 차이점을 보이고 있어 클레임의 발생가능성이 높음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 클레임과 분쟁의 처리절차에 있어서 국내계약조건은 클레임의 제기, 감리자의 책임과 권한, 클레임의 유효성 기준, 클레임의 처리절차에 대한 규정이 미비한 실정임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 FIDC 계약조건의 분석을 통하여 시공자가 제기할 수 있는 클레임 사항을 본 연구에서는 제시하고 있다. IN this study, with a purpose to establish the standard construction contract conditions, the FIDIC conditions of contract and the corresponding legal systems from the various domestic laws and regulations, used as the construction conditions, were compared. The study shows problems such as inconsistence and atypicality between current provisions and FIDIC contract. The possibility of claim occurrence in Korea construction market is significant. Through a comparison of domestic and foreign construction contract, the study presents that domestic contracts don't have provisions about procedure of submission, engineer's responsibility and authority, and effective procedure of claims. The study also presents technical considerations under the FIDIC Contract by Employer and Contractor.

        남북한 산업 규격의 비교 연구

        The technological and industrial traits of North Korean today are very different with those of South Korea as politics, economy, culture of both Koreas are, which have been developed in respective ways during the last fifty years. Facing with today's many real activities for the interchange and the cooperation like the construction of railroads and industrial complexes, lack of the general understanding of dissimilarities in characteristics of both countries are making it difficult to accomplish joint objects. However, any examination about those problems has never been tried because of the lack of practical materials and data about the technology and the industry in the North. This paper addresses the analysis procedure and method of the difference of the national industrial standard between South and North Korea in order to understand the difference. We already investigated the hierarchical classifications, organization, regulative items before and the systematic analysis procedure including the comparative study of the national standard based on the characteristics of each standard and the guide table which can be used in the comparison of the standards are accomplished in this paper. Based on the suggested comparison procedure, we reported the difference of the standard in the area of mechanical industry as a result of the comparison of the standards of South and North Korea over 360.

      • 알코올 용매로부터 알콕사이드졸겔법에 의한 알루미나 미분말의 제조

        Al(??)₃를 알코올 용매하에 아세틸아세톤과 반응시킨 후 부분가수분해 하여 alumina precusor sol을 얻었다. 생성된 졸의 특성을 알아보기 위하여 산의 농도에 따른 졸의 상태를 조사하였다. 또한 이 졸로부터 얻어진 분말은 각 온도별로 열처리하여 결정의 전이과정 및 각 온도에서의 결정상태 등을 조사하였다. 건조분말은 90℃에서 비정질로서 polymenc sol의 특성을 나타내었으며 900℃에서는 ? -Al₂O₃, 1050 ℃에서는 α- Al₂O₃의 단일상이 각각 관찰되었다. 또, 비정질분말과 α- Al₂O₃에서는 6배위한 Al을, 그리고 ??-Al₂O₃에서는 4배위한 Al을 각각 확인할 수 있었다. Alumina precusor sol was obtained by the reaction of Al(??)₃ and acetylacetone in the alcohol solvent followed by the partial hydrolysis. In order to investigate the characteristics of the obtained sol, the state of the sol with the concentration of the acid was investigated. The powders obtained from this sol were calcined at the various temperatures. The transition of crystals and crystal state were investigated at the various temperatures. The powders dried at 90 ℃ showed the characteristies of polymeric sol and at 900℃ showed ??-Al₂O₃, at 1050℃ showed the single phase of α-Al₂O₃.

      • 전동공구 내구성 평가 실험장치 개발

        For the endurance test, it is necessary to test the portable electric tools under the same condition as the actual operation condition. It is also essential that the test equipment is convenient to fix the tool. Those are necessary to control the loaded torque and to acquire and analyze the test data with a computer. In this study, we have developed an endurance test equipment for portable electric tools, where a hydraulic control system with a proportional relief valve was applied to control the load for the test. The developed test equipment used an industrial hydraulic pump as a load supplier to ensure a firm endurance of the test equipment itself. The data acquisition system has been automated by composing with a personal computer and RS-232C communication nets. This test equipment reduced the manhour for the test and also improved the reliability of the tested data which were measured and graphed.

        Clinical Features of Polyarteritis Nodosa in Korea

        <P>Polyarteritis nodosa (PAN) is a systemic vasculitis characterized by multi-organ involvement with protean manifestations. We evaluated the clinical features of PAN in Korea. Twenty-seven patients were diagnosed as PAN at Seoul National University Hospital between January 1990 and July 2003. The male-to-female ratio was 1.7:1 and mean age at onset (±SD) was 47.4±20 yr. Their presenting features at diagnosis were similar to those reported previously, i.e., myalgia, muscle weakness or leg tenderness (70%), fever (52%), weight loss >4 kg (44%), skin rash (44%), peripheral edema (33%), abdominal pain (33%), and arthralgia/arthritis (30%). However, the prevalence of testicular pain or tenderness was higher (24%) than reported previously and only three (11.5%) had HBsAg positivity without liver enzyme elevation. Nine patients (33%) had a five-factor score (FFS) of 2. Fourteen patients (52%) responded to treatment, 2 patients relapsed and 4 died within 1 yr of diagnosis. During a median follow-up of 55.5 months, three of the four PAN-related deaths had an initial FFS of 2. The clinical features of PAN were not significantly different from those reported previously. However, testicular pain or tenderness was more frequent and patients with a high FFS tended to have a poorer prognosis.</P>

      • Deep Red Phosphorescence of Cyclometalated Iridium Complexes by <i>o</i>-Carborane Substitution

        <P>Heteroleptic (C<SUP>∧</SUP>N)<SUB>2</SUB>Ir(acac) (C<SUP>∧</SUP>N = 5-MeCBbtp (<B>5a</B>); 4-BuCBbtp (<B>5b</B>); 5-BuCBbtp (<B>5c</B>); 5-(<I>R</I>)CBbtp = 2-(2′-benzothienyl)-5-(2-<I>R</I>-<I>ortho</I>-carboran-1-yl)-pyridinato-C<SUP>2</SUP>,N, R = Me and <I>n</I>-Bu; 4-BuCBbtp = 2-(2′-benzothienyl)-4-(2-<I>n</I>-Bu-<I>ortho</I>-carboran-1-yl)-pyridinato-C<SUP>2</SUP>,N, acac = acetylacetonate) complexes supported by <I>o</I>-carborane substituted C<SUP>∧</SUP>N-chelating ligand were prepared, and the crystal structures of <B>5a</B> and <B>5b</B> were determined by X-ray diffraction. While <B>5a</B> and <B>5c</B> exhibit a deep red phosphorescence band centered at 644 nm, which is substantially red-shifted compared to that of unsubstituted (btp)<SUB>2</SUB>Ir(acac) (<B>6</B>) (λ<SUB>em</SUB> = 612 nm), <B>5b</B> is nonemissive in THF solution at room temperature. In contrast, all complexes are emissive at 77 K and in the solid state. Electrochemical and theoretical studies suggest that the carborane substitution leads to the lowering of both the HOMO and LUMO levels, but has higher impact on the LUMO stabilization than the HOMO, resulting in the reduction of the triplet excited state energy. In particular, the LUMO stabilization in the 4-substituted <B>5b</B> is more contributed by carborane than that in the 5-substituted <B>5a</B>. The solution-processed electroluminescent device incorporating <B>5a</B> as an emitter displayed deep red phosphorescence (CIE coordinate: 0.693, 0.290) with moderate performance (max η<SUB>EQE</SUB> = 3.8%) whereas the device incorporating <B>5b</B> showed poor performance, as well as weak luminance.</P><P>The introduction of an <I>o</I>-carborane to the 4- or 5-position of the pyridine ring of a btp ligand in heteroleptic (C<SUP>∧</SUP>N)<SUB>2</SUB>Ir(acac) complexes leads to deep red phosphorescence, which is substantially red-shifted compared to that of (btp)<SUB>2</SUB>Ir(acac).
