Re-categorizing the Factors of Traffic Crashes Based on a Literature Review

This study aimed to identify and reclassify factors influencing traffic crashes through a literature review. Existing factors influencing traffic crashes have been broadly categorized into human factors, vehicle factors, and environmental factors. However, recent advancements in technology and the establishment of standards for various environmental factors necessitate a reclassification of factors influencing traffic crashes. Therefore, literature related to the analysis of traffic crash causes was collected, with a final selection of 62 documents for review. The literature review involved collecting various factors used in the literature and analyzing the significance of each factor in relation to traffic crashes. The review of the 62 documents resulted in the identification of a total of 70 factors significant to traffic crashes. These 70 factors identified through the literature review were grouped based on their characteristics. Ultimately, the 70 factors were classified into 6 groups and 19 subgroups. The findings of this study contribute to the novel identification and reclassification of factors influencing traffic crashes, with the potential to contribute to a clearer understanding and better management of traffic crash causes in the future.

<B>Object</B><P>This study investigated the effects of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) on glial scar formation after spinal cord injury (SCI) in rats and compared the therapeutic effects between G-CSF and granulocytemacrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) to evaluate G-CSF as a potential substitute for GM-CSF in clinical application.</P><B>Methods</B><P>Rats were randomly assigned to 1 of 4 groups: a sham-operated group (Group 1), an SCI group without treatment (Group 2), an SCI group treated with G-CSF (Group 3), and an SCI group treated with GM-CSF (Group 4). G-CSF and GM-CSF were administered via intraperitoneal injection immediately after SCI. The effects of G-CSF and GM-CSF on functional recovery, glial scar formation, and axonal regeneration were evaluated and compared.</P><B>Results</B><P>The rats in Groups 3 and 4 showed better functional recovery and more decreased cavity sizes than those in Group 2 (p < 0.05). Both G-CSF and GM-CSF suppressed intensive expression of glial fibrillary acidic protein around the cavity at 4 weeks and reduced the expression of chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans (p < 0.05). Also, early administration of G-CSF and GM-CSF protected axon fibers from destructive injury and facilitated axonal regeneration. There were no significant differences in comparisons of functional recovery, glial scar formation, and axonal regeneration between G-CSF and GM-CSF.</P><B>Conclusions</B><P>G-CSF suppressed glial scar formation after SCI in rats, possibly by restricting the expression of glial fibrillary acidic protein and chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans, which might facilitate functional recovery from SCI. GM-CSF and G-CSF had similar effects on glial scar formation and functional recovery after SCI, suggesting that G-CSF can potentially be substituted for GM-CSF in the treatment of SCI.</P>

<P>The segmented analysis method of a finite planar ridged tapered slot antenna (RTSA) array is presented to develop a wideband phased array with a triangular lattice. The RTSA array is segmented into two-parts with a feeder and the arrays of tapered slot antenna (TSA) and these scattering parameters are analyzed respectively. This proposed method gives the merit of a great reduction of computational cost. To verify the advantage of this method, we build the numerical model of only one feeder and dual polarized arrays of TSA with 10 × 12 elements. The measured results of the fabricated array meet the design goals of 3:1 bandwidth, scan volume of ±45°, active VSWR (AVSWR) below 3:1. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 도달 가능 관계를 이용한 효율적인 한단계 웹서비스 컴포지션 탐색 방법

최근 웹서비스 컴포지션에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 웹서비스 컴포지션은 여러 개의 웹서비스를 조합하여 마치 하나의 서비스처럼 보여주는 것이다. 기존의 웹서비스 컴포지션 관련 연구들은 전향 혹은 후향 체인 방식을 사용하였으나 질의와 상관없는 불필요한 탐색을 하는 경우가 많다는 문제가 있다. 또한 전후향을 모두 사용하는 방식도 있었으나 이 경우 가능한 모든 컴포지션 결과를 찾지 못한다는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 연구의 문제점을 보완하고 효율적으로 웹서비스 컴포지션을 찾을 수 있는 한단계 알고리즘을 제시한다. 도달 가능 관계를 이용하여 사용자 질의로부터 도달 가능하면서 실제로 컴포지션에 기여할 수 있는 웹서비스들만을 대상으로 컴포지션을 수행하게 함으로써 질의와 관계없는 불필요한 탐색을 최대한 줄인다. 또한 한 단계로만 탐색을 수행함으로써 가능한 모든 웹서비스 컴포지션을 결과로 돌려줄 수 있도록 한다.
