Transportation machine manufacturers are putting in efforts on research based on weight reduction. One of the representative materials for weight reduction is Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP). Increased used of FRP, glass fiber and carbon fiber could be a way of weight reduction. It is almost unavoidable to generate holes or notches during structural design. Little research have been carried out based on cracks with respect to materials used for design. The utilization of finite element analysis and the reliability of the analysis methods are increasing in order to promptly cope with the damages in materials. In this study, Compact Tension (CT) model based on ASTM E647 was designed using SM45C, steel for structural use, short fiber Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP), and woven type Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP). In addition, J-Integral, which is a factor for determination of growth of crack that appears in cracks, was applied to general structure analysis. J-Integral is an equation of the body force of the material and strain energy in accordance with the loading force, and illustrates the crack growth using energy release rate. J-Integral values of SM45C, short fiber GFRP and woven type CFRP were found to be approximately 74,978 mJ/mm², 7492.3 mJ/mm² and 6222.4 mJ/mm², respectively.

사출성형에 CAE (Computer Aided Engineering)을 적용함으로써 사출 성형품 설계와 공정조절에 큰 도움이 된다. 또한 성형의 효율성을 최대화하고 개발기간의 단축, 그리고 고품질 제품을 확보하는데 도움이 크다. 특히 신제품 개발에 대한 설계방안을 제시하고 실패율을 감소시킬 수 있다. 현재 사출성형의 CAE는 2D는 물론 3D도 해석이 가능한데 이 두 가지 방식은 약간의 차이를 가짐에도 불구하고 해석 상 차이에 관한 비교 및 일반적인 가이드라인이 정해져 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 제품의 두께, 형상 그리고 유한요소 수에 따른 2차원 해석과 3차원 해석을 비교하였다. 그리고 실험을 통해 얻은 캐비티 내의 압력과 온도를 해석결과와 비교하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 사출성형의 2D해석과 3D해석에 대한 가이드라인을 제시하고자 하였다. There exist many merits in designing products and setting operational condition when computer aided engineering (CAE) is adopted in injection molding process. CAE also gives increasing efficient of molding, reducing developing time of product, and maintaining high quality products. Specially, it suggests design guidelines for new products and reducing wasting time to get steady state. Two and three dimensional computer simulations are available in injection molding and those results are somewhat different. However there are no guidelines for 2D and 3D computer simulations in using CAE in injection molding even though it is widely used in plastic industry. In this study, two and three dimensional computation results were compared for various part thickness, part shape, and number of finite element. Subsequently computational results were compared with experimental data such as pressure and temperature. The guidelines in two and three dimensional CAE analysis have been suggested through this study.

This study aims to compare the hardness value development characteristics according to the water-cement ratio during a series of experiments to develop a setting estimator for an AI-based concrete finishing automation system. For the test variables, water-cement ratios are varied with 30, 40 and 50%. Proctor penetration test and surface hardness test by setting time estimator are conducted to estimate the setting time. For the effect of water-cement ratios, they did not affect the surface hardness either, while initial set time and final set time are not constant with water-cement ratios.

This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of estimating the setting time and compressive strength in Ternary Blended Concrete(TBC) using Settimeter, Strength meter, and Hybrid meter. It was determined that the hardness values at the initial setting time and final setting time of Settimeter, Hybrid meter, and at the 5 MPa of Strength meter were not affected by the mixing ratio of TBC. However, future studies need to consider the errors caused by the instability of the measurement surface during condensation and the state of the measurement surface after hardening.

LKAS(Lane Keeping Assist system) is designed to help keep vehicle centered in a lane when over a certain speed. However, The LKAS system may work improperly under bad environmental conditions, such as lane is dirty or there is matter on lane. In the specific case, a recognition error can occur or the lane can be unrecognized even if the LKAS has been trained to recognize the lane in various scenario. Therefore, countermeasures need to be prepared by obtaining the front images in the specific case. In this study, we suggests data acquisition system that confirm LKAS operation state, check speed of vehicle from dashboard, collect a photo and video at the time when LKAS turns from ON to OFF, and record GPS in specific position. The system consists of IMC-link which real-time vehicle equipment, GPS, and we made image processing device to acquire vehicle information from dashboard. We verified the system operation by consisting monitoring screen which can be seen instant images and stored GPS data, when the LKAS fails to recognize lane through actual vehicle driving scenario.

This study aimed to evaluate a feasibility of estimating setting time and compressive strength of curing conditions using a Hybrid meter. As a result, It was determined that the measured hardness value at the initial set, final set and at 5MPa of the Hybrid meter were not affected by curing conditions. And the Hybrid meter(A) is confirmed to have a higher correlation, so it is judged to be more suitable for pratical use.
