A Network-based Approach for IP Fast Handover Support

This paper proposed a new network-side approach to support IP fast handover as the name of NSFMIPv6. To achieve both practicality and networkcontrollability, NS-FMIPv6 is based on existing FMIP6 and some modifications are given to provide the networkcontrollability. Analysis shows that NS-FMIPv6 has lower signaling cost and better loss tolerance characteristic than FMIPv6.
MOFI: Future Internet Architecture with Address-free Hosts for Mobile Environments

It is envisioned that mobile users will become the key driver toward future Internet. We propose a future Internet architecture for mobile-oriented Internet environments, named Mobile-Oriented Future Internet (MOFI), which is based on address-free hosts with host identifier (HID) and network locator (LOC). The MOFI is featured by the HID-based communication with LOC-based routing and the support of heterogeneous access networks. We present the MOFI architecture and describe the relevant procedures for data transport and mobility control. By numerical analysis, we see that the proposed scheme can significantly improve the packet delivery cost and handover delay, compared to the existing mobility protocols.
A Scheme for Supporting Fast Handover in Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 Networks

This Letter proposes a scheme that supports a fast handover effectively in hierarchical mobile IPv6 networks (F-HMIPv6) by optimizing the associated data and control flows during the handover. By NS-2 simulation, we show that the proposed scheme can give better handover performance than a simple combination of existing schemes.

Unlike the past having artificially developing built environment while undergoing urbanization and industrialization, a movement seeking natural environment around built environment has become increasingly strong in recent years. So many people have become interested in "sustainable environment", trying to create a city living with the nature. Notwithstanding much social concern for environment friendliness, it is not so easy to put natural elements into artificial built environment. The design which could be a solution in those city environment problems is Biophilic design. Biophilia can be regarded as life love concept which regards the nature as a life and tries to understand the environment. Through direct and indirect and symbolic expression, natural contact with the nature and visual approach can be derived. Biophilic design can make feel the nostalgia in the nature in the ambiguity about artificial and natural things and provide the opportunity to awaken the awareness and importance about the collapsing environment to the people. Biophilic esthetic in green facade makes the people’s body and soul comfortable and increases the efficiency and productivity. This study deducted 3D wall design which creates the natural environment in the urban city by applying biomimicry design from formative perspectives. Large and complicated forms could be concisely expressed by utilizing geometrical patterns through the appropriate processors in digital times. This enables to suggest the architectural forms which could be freely changed in the future.
