        2015 개정 초등학교 통합교과 교육과정에 대한 비판적 검토

        이 연구에서는 제5차 통합교과 교육과정 개발 이후 일관적으로 지향해 온 통합교과의 탈교과적 접근에 비추어 볼 때, 2015 개정 통합교과 교육과정을 어떻게 이해할 수 있는지를 비판적으로 검토하였다. 연구 결과, 2015 개정 통합교과 교육과정은 두 가지 점에서 지금까지 통합교과 교육과정이 교육의 내용을 학습자의 삶을 중심으로 구성하고 조직하는 탈교과적 통합을 지향해 온 것과 차이가 있었다. 첫째, 통합교과 교육과정의 내용을 다룰 때 사용해 온 ‘주제(대주제, 소주제, 활동주제)’를 ‘영역, 개념, 지식, 내용’ 등의 용어로 대체한 점, 둘째, 통합교과를 분과교과와 연계하도록 안내하는 점이었다. 이런 검토 결과를 바탕으로, 통합교과가 통합교육과정으로서 특수한 지향점과 국가수준 교육과정을 구성하는 하나의 교과교육과정으로서 일반적인 요구사항을 모두 반영해야 하는 딜레마를 논의할 수 있었다. 하나는 탈교과적 통합을 지향하면서도 이를 다시 교과라는 틀로 제시해야 한다는 점, 다른 하나는 타 교과들과 구별되는 영역을 가지고 통합교과만의 독자적인 내용을 다루면서, 그것이 종국에는 학생들이 통합교과 이후에 학습하게 될 교과들과 연계되어야 한다는 점이다. 이 두 가지 쟁점은 향후 통합교과 교육과정 개정에서도 숙고 할 필요가 있을 것이다. This study critically reviewed the 2015 revised integrated curriculum which reflected the direction of the 2015 revised curriculum in light of the consistent direction of the integrated curriculum. As a result of the study, the main revision of the 2015 revised integrated curriculum differed from the perspective that the integrated curriculum has formed. In particular, it replaces the ‘topics’ that have been used to deal with the contents of the integrated curriculum with ‘concepts, knowledge, and contents’ and guides each integrated subject to be linked to specific subjects. This contrasts with the fact that the integrated curriculum has been aiming for trans-disciplinary integration, which organizes the curriculum around the lives of learners. Through this, I discussed the dilemma that the integrated curriculum should overcome. The dilemma is that while the integrated curriculum aims for trans-subject integration, it should be presented in the framework of the subject again and while dealing with the unique contents of integrated subjects that distinguish them from other subjects, it should eventually be linked to other subjects.

      • 국제협약과 국내 아동인권 결정례에 반영된 아동인권에 관한 연구

        아동관련 국제협약은 국제사회 아동인권의 지침이 된다. 또한 국가인권위의 아동인권 결정례는 아동인권에 대한 사회적인 변화를 내포하고 있으며 이러한 법적, 정책적인 변화는 국민들의 인식변화로 이어지고 확산될 때 아동에 대한 실질적인 인권향상을 가져올 수 있다. 이러한 확산방안으로 통합적 사고를 적용해 보고 실제 정책에서의 원용을 통해 아동권리 향상에 이바지하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 국제 사회와 한국의 국가인권위는 각종 협약과 결정례를 통해 아동인권에 대해 가이드를 주고 있다. 국제협약과 인권위의 결정은 동인권에 대한 인식변화를 내포한다. 또한 더 나아가 본 연구에서는 통합적 사고(Intergrated Thinking)는 직관적 사고나 분석적 사고의 한쪽이 아니라 이에 대해 통합적으로 접근하는 사고 방법이다. 또한 문제의 새로운 해결책을 탐색하기 위하여 확산적 사고와 수렴적 사고과정을 반복하여 창의적인 문제해결의 답을 찾는 디자인적 사고의 기초이다. 이러한 방식은 변화하는 아동인권에 대한 인식을 확산하는 하나의 방안이 될 수 있다. International Convention on Children is a guide to child human rights in the international community. In addition, the NHRC’s decision on children's human rights implies social changes in children’s human rights, and such legal and policy changes can lead to changes in people’s perceptions and lead to real human rights improvements for children when they spread. The purpose of this study is to apply integrated thinking to this problem and contribute to the improvement of children's rights through the use of original policies. The international community and South Korea's National Human Rights Commission are giving guidelines on child human rights through various conventions and precedents. The decisions of the International Convention and the Human Rights Commission imply a change in the perception of children's human rights. Furthermore, integrated thinking is not one of intuitive or analytical thinking, but an integrated approach to it. It is also the basis to find creative solution of problem solving by repeating the diffusion and convergent thinking processes. This approach could be a way to spread awareness of changing child human rights.

      • Kanamycin activates caspase‐1 in NC/Nga mice

        <P><B>Abstract: </B> Abuse of antibiotics to treat children has been associated with an increased risk of the development of inflammatory diseases. The underlying mechanism behind this association still remains to be clarified. Here, we examined the mechanisms behind kanamycin‐induced skin inflammation in NC/Nga mice. NC/Nga mice were orally administered kanamycin for 7 days consecutively. Blood, spleen and dorsal skin were taken 18 weeks after kanamycin treatment was stopped. Kanamycin significantly increased the allergic reaction. We also observed significant increases in caspase‐1 mRNA and protein expression in the dorsal skin of the kanamycin‐administered mice compared to the control mice. The increased enzymatic activity of caspase‐1 in the dorsal skin of the kanamycin‐administered mice increased the mRNA expressions of IL‐1β and IL‐18. The productions of IL‐1β and IL‐18 were also increased in the splenocytes obtained from kanamycin‐administered mice. Kanamycin upregulated the TNF‐α mRNA expression in the dorsal skin and the TNF‐α production in stimulated splenocytes. The activation of nuclear factor‐κB and degradation of IκBα were increased by kanamycin administration. Our findings suggest that the use of kanamycin during infancy may increase the potential for skin inflammatory reactions through the upregulation of caspase‐1.</P>

      • A Comparative Study of Structure of Color Sensibility Vocabulary

        The study has been conducted to create evaluation vocabulary pools for different areas of color application by supplementing the color image evaluation vocabulary presented by earlier studies. For the purpose, it questions the adequacy and objectivity in different areas of color application of the evaluation vocabulary with regard to previously widely-used sensational measurements, and develops image analysis models visualizing the positioning of evaluation vocabulary for different areas of color application. The scope of this study is as follows: building exterior colors and makeup colors, whose characteristics are quite different from each other. And color evaluation vocabulary has been extracted and compared in different areas of color application, while color sense evaluation has been conducted to create an image analysis model through structural analysis of evaluation vocabulary and perform the analysis of color image tapping into it. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, the vocabulary finally selected for different areas of color application included 54 words for architectural exterior finish and 54 words for make-up colors, which were classified into vocabulary appearing commonly for all categories and independent vocabulary to compare color evaluation vocabulary collected for different areas of color application, thus verifying the differentiation of evaluation vocabulary characteristic of different areas. Second, to analyze the structure of evaluation vocabulary for different areas of color application, evaluation vocabulary was grouped through group analysis, while multi-dimensional scaling was employed to position evaluation vocabulary for different areas of color application and thereby creates a visual space model. With this, the similarity among evaluation vocabulary could be expressed in distance, and the differentiation of evaluation vocabulary structure was verified for different areas of color application. Third, the image analysis model was used to analyze the color characteristics by creating a color palette for the image group for different areas of color application, while color palettes were compared by category for the common image group. Since this is a color analysis tool that can not only make an objective expression of images targeted for different areas of color application but also provide a structural explanation of the differentiation by category of the common image vocabulary, it is considered valuable as an image analysis model. The study is significant, because differentiation of evaluation vocabulary has been verified for characteristics of different areas through a comparison of color evaluation vocabulary collected for different areas of color application. And by positioning evaluation vocabulary for different areas of color application and thereby creating a visual space model, the similarity among evaluation vocabulary could be expressed in distance, while the differentiation of evaluation vocabulary structure was verified for different areas of color application.

      • Synergistic effects of both heating and diatomaceous earth treatments for the control of stored-product insect, Plodia interpunctella

        Plodia interpunctella, Indianmeal moth, is world-widely distributed pest in stored and manufactured agricultural products. Practically, this species seriously damaged by the infestation of most stored and manufactured agricultural products. It is necessary to find useful techniques for the control of stored-product pests insects including P. interpunctella. Recently, heating at 55℃ for 48 h can be practically used to disinfest stored-product insects in the filed of manufactures. To improve efficiency of this technique we conducted combination treatments with heat and diatomaceous earth. At room temperature, wandering larvae, which is most tolerant developmental stage to heat, were not dead regardless of diatomaceous earth (4 mg/L) treatment within 24 h. However, incubation at 40℃, all the larvae were dead with diatomaceous earth treatment while its mortality was 28% without diatomaceous earth treatment. Thus, heating effects was significantly improved by the combined treatments of diatomaceous earth. This effect was increased when temperature was higher and the exposed time is longer. Our results clearly showed that the combined treatments of both heat and diatomaceous earth showed synergistic effects for the control of P. interpunctella.

      • Machine learning approach for the prediction of dystocia

        Objective: The harmony of material factors and baby size is important for successful vaginal delivery. This research attempted to predict dystocia using the machine learning technique using each material factor, baby size, and the relationship between material factor and baby size. Methods: More than 37 weeks of delivery were targeted among the 293 mothers who gave birth at Bundang Cha Hospital between January 2010 and June 2021 and received CT within five years before and after. A total of 138 vaginal deliveries and 61 dystocias (CPD, malpresentation, induction failure) had their pelvimetry evaluated. Two machine-learning methods (decision tree and logistic regression) were used to predict dystocia. The main outcome measures are under the receiver-operating curve (AUROC), overall accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of prediction of dystocia. Results: AUROC was 0.615, overall accuracy was 0.743, sensitivity was 0.289, and specificity was 0.942 in the decision tree model. UROC was 0.560, overall accuracy was 0.662, sensitivity was 0.342, and specificity was 0.808 in the logistic regression model. Factors affecting dystocia are head circumference and maternal mid-transverse diameter ratio, pubic angle, head circumference, and BMI ratio, terms BMI, mid-transverse diameter, and age. Conclusion: Dystocia is still challenging to anticipate. Clinical treatment can benefit from dystocia prediction utilizing machine learning approaches.
