        The urban landscape has an essential part in keeping the amenity of city and promoting the quality of life. Daejeon Metropolitan City has it's own urban landscape with mountains and three streams which run through the city, and makes it differentiated from other cities. This research aims to inquire into the urban landscape management and to propose the urban landscape policy for Daejeon Metropolitan City.

      • 슬럿지의 固形化에 관한 硏究

        For the purpose of treating the sludge which contains hazardous heavy metals, various kinds of studies were made on the unconfined compressive strength which various with the ratio of portland cement. Aluminum sulfate and sodium silicate, the effects upon cements binding influenced by moisture content, volatile solid and pH of sludge, and the amount of leaching solution which comes after cement binding. Erief results from the said studies are as following; 1. As a result of compression tests at various mixing ratio of binders, the highest intensity was found at the ratio of portland cement(0.4) + aluminum sulfate(0.05) + sodium silicate(0.05) + sludge(0.5). Generally the compressive strength tends to be in direct proportion with period of curing. 2. In case that sludge was binded at the same mixing ratio of binders to sludge, the compressive strength was increased and the amount of leaching solution was decreased at low content of moisture and volatile solid and high pH of sludge. 3. while the compressive strength is over than 9.0㎏/㎠, the hazardous heavy metals are not leached from the brick. 4. As the C/S ratio of binders was increasing, the amount of leaching hazardous heavy metals was decreasing. When binders were mixed at the ratio;portland cement+Aluminum sulfate(0.1)+Sodium silicate(0.1) and the C/S ratio of binders were 0.5, leaching solution amount was minimum. 5. The compressive strength of the sludge in the moisture content of 70% to 75% is made of over than 10㎏/㎠ at the curing of 28 days. When binders were mixed at the ratio; portland cement were over 0.5 of the C/S ratio, portland cement+Aluminum sulfate(0.1) were over 0.35 of the C/S ratio, portland cement+Sodium silicate(0.1) were over 0.35 of the C/S ratio and portland cement+Aluminum sulfate(0.05)+Sodium silicate(0.05) were over 0.25 of the C/S ratio.

        2-[(4-Cyanophenyl)amino]-3-chloro-1, 4-naphthalenedione (NQ-Y15) was asssayed for its genotoxic potential by using Salmonella typhimurium reversion assay and in vitro chromosome aberration test on Chinese hamster lung cells. In the Ames test, NQ-Y15 induced his+revertants of Salmonella typhimurium TA 98 and TA 1537, reaching levels twice the negative control values. But, NQ-Y15 induced only his+revertants of Salmonella typhimurium TA 1537 more than twice the control values under the condition with metabolic activation system. In the cytogenetic test on chinese hamster lung cells. NQ-Y15 showed significant chromosomal aberrations, but the incidence was significantly reduced in the presence of metabolic activation.

        A method of calculating the natural frequency corresponding to the first mode of vibration of beams and tower structures, with irregular cross-sections and with arbitrary boundary conditions was developed and reported by D. H. Kim in 1974. IN this paper, hte result of application of this method to the laminated plates with axial forces and with attached point mass/masses is presented. Both N? and N? forces are considered. The solution for the laminated plates with arbitrary boundary conditions and irregular section can be obtained by simply obtaining the deflection influence coefficients by any method. The effect of neglecting the mass of the plates on the natural frequency, as the ratio of the point mass/masses to the plate mass increases, is thoroughly studied. The influence of N? and N? is also carefully investigated.

      • Sol-gel 공정에 의한 Silica sol의 합성 및 특성

        Reaction completion time was investigated to measure OH/CH ratio as reaction time at 25℃. In 50 and 60 minute reaction was completed in 1.0 ratio that was reached equilibrium state. In another method, equilibrium, state was investigated by measuring volume% of C₂H_(5)OH. From 40 to 50 minute. that was reached at 61.6 of volume% After reaction. monomer and tetrasilicate(92%) as main product was discovered and so oligomer(6%). Mean molecular weight (Mw) of sol solution was about 7.000. The beginning point and ending point of hardening was measured through the TGA investigation of reaction material. The hardening of sol solution was complected in 7 minute and viscosity was maximum from 4 to 5 minute and was set at 9 minute.

        There are two common problems that the mordern cities have. One is to how he citizens are effecially interested in the cultural remains in the cities. The other is to how the people who have the architectural treasure in the cities don't convert these into economical property values, but have a preserving awareness It is the tendency that the historical cultural environment is gradually incorporate into the area of the cities according to rapid increase in papulation and the diffuseness of the city. In this process some people think that the valuable historical architectural treasure is an obstacle in devising the city planning. This thesis is to how effecially preserve and applicate thet Taejon,s historical cultural environment. In this thesis it has made up questions to 1,134persons of Taejon citizents to what extent were rocognizing the local historical archtecural treasure. the questionnaires items were divided under five heads as follows. 1) the cognition about Taejon's historcal architectural treasure 2) The satisfaction to the preservation status 3) the opinion about the application plan The population characteristcs of effective answers were devided into sex, age, education level, occupation, occupation of architecture, duration of residence in Taejon, residential district, etc. The content of questionnaires were analyzed in chapter6 in detail. To preserve the historical cultural environment of cities is troublesome and complicated works right now, but it is our's duties and resposibilities to do necessaily. In this thesis (Ⅰ) it will be find the method to high up the recognition about the historical cultural environment on the basis of this recognition reserch and frame the architectural planning about the effective preservation and application plan.

      • 靑刈用 交雜 옥수수의 生育特性 및 生産性에 關한 調査

        In order to investigate the growth characteristics and yield performance oi the corn hybrid cultivated during 6 months from Mar. 1983 to Sep. the same year at fields of grass research, Dept. of Dairy Science, Jinju Agricultural & Forestry Junior Techical College. The results obtained are as follows: 1. the budding ratio was slightly low by unseasonableness of weather at the seeding day. 2. The growth of Gwang oggu hybrid was slightly superior to that of Hwang oggu at heading, tasseling and dough stage. 3. The plant length and No. leaf of Gwang oggu hybrid were superior to those of Hwang oggu by growth stage. 4. Disease resistance was generally strong, but it was necessary to control corn borer because of being well affected by it. 5. The yields of Gwang oggu hybrid and Hwang oggu are summarized as follows:

      • 재조합 Saccharomyces cerevisiae로부터 인체 리포코틴-Ⅰ의 분비 생산 및 정제

        Human lipocortin-I (LCI) is a calcium ion-dependent and phospholipid-binding protein which exhibits an anti-inflammatory activity by inhibiting phospholipase A₂ activity. In this study, the LCI gene containing its own terminator region was joined to GAL10 promoter-ppL (prepro-leader sequence of mating factor a). An ATG start codon of LCI gene was placed at downstream with KR endoprotease recognition site (Lys-Arg) of ppL. Recombinant S. cerevisiae harboring the LCI expression/secretion vector, pYGLPT5, was aerobically grown on a liquid YPDG medium at 30℃ for 72hrs. The whole cell and culture supernatant were separated after centrifugation, and the expressed LCI was analyzed by SDS-PAGE and western blotting methods. A majority fraction of the expressed LCI was found to be accumulated in the intracellular fraction, resulting in very low secretion efficiency of about 7.4%. About 500mg/ℓof LCI was extracellularly produced by the fed-batch culture employing the controlled-feeding of glucose and galactose. The secreted LCI was purified by ultrafiltration and hydroxylapatite column chromatography, and a purity of more than 99% was obtained.

      • 경남지역의 사무직 노동자와 육체적 노동자의 요통특성에 관한 조사 연구

        This study has been attempted to be helpful for the back rehabilitation of Korean workers by analyzing the general, occupational, social aspects of low back pain and to identify possible risk factors for back pain in White and Blue collar workers. The primary data collected from 339 workers in Kyungnam by means of a questionnaire with random which was distributed from January 10 to 18, 2001. For the test of statistical significance, chisquare analysis was used to compare the back pain characteristics between the two groups. The results were as follows: 1.The incidence of low back pain in all workers studied was 81.1 %. The incidence of Blue collar with low back pain(88.2%) was higher than that of White collars(74.1%) (p<0.01) 2.With regard to the relationship of back pain to the occupational characteristics, statistically significant differences were observed between workers with and without back pain concerning the job factors on work-time, mental stress, work posture, trunk rotation, weight lifting, vibration, and heavy noise(p <0.05). 3.With regard to the relationship of back pain to the social characteristics, there were no differences with respect to traffic time. However, significant differences were showed between no pain and pain groups for the using bed, sleeping posture, walking amount, body type, health state, and physical exercise(p<0.05). 4.The comparative analysis of back pain related to work factors showed significant differences with respect to mental stress, work posture, trunk rotation in White collar group(p<0.05); and mental stress, trunk rotation, work posture, monotonus repetitive work, weight lifting, exposure to vibration in blue collar group(p<O.05). 5.The comparative analysis of social factors in two groups showed differences with respect to the using bed, walking amount, health state, physical exercise in White collar group(p<0.05); and walking amount, physical exercise in Blue collar group (p<0.05). Especially, Blue collar group showed high differences with respect to the health state(p<0.01). 6.In regard to the general aspects of back pain between two groups, there were differences concerning etiolgy of back pain, pain duration, counselling partners, treatment types, and sick-leaves(p<0.05), except awareness of back pain.
