        Streptococcus mutans에 대한 티트리의 항균 효과

        Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the antibacterial effect of Streptococcus mutans of tea tree ingredient. Methods: The experimental groups were each given with different concentrations (30 or 50 vol%) of tea tree prepared in saline solution. The control group applied only saline solution. The tea tree coating of the specimen were examined under a scanning electron microscope. For the antibacterial activity test of the tea tree, the contact angle of the tea tree- coated specimen's surface was analyzed. The antibacterial effect against Streptococcus mutans was determined by counting the colony forming units (CFU). The statical statics were evaluated by using one-way ANOVA and paired t-test. Results: The tea tree treated group of hydrophilic more than non treated group. Antibacterial experiments demonstrated that tee tree solution was effective against Streptococcus mutans. However there was no significant difference in depending solution concentration groups. Conclusions: The antimicrobial activity of the tea tree containing solution showed its potential for use as coating for denture and medical materials.

        전통 패션 기반 현대 패션브랜드에 나타난 문화적 지속가능성에 관한 연구 - 한국, 일본, 벨기에 브랜드 사례를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to analyze how modern fashion brands practice cultural sustainability by investigating the ways they use and reinterpret traditional culture and clothing. The transmission and reinterpretation of traditional cultural elements connect the past, present, and future. These forces also lead to the development of new creativity in the fashion industry. Three brands have been selected for case studies: Danha (Korea), Mittan (Japan), and Jan Jan Van Essche (Belgium). These brands possess in-depth understanding of traditional cultural elements, including clothing, dyeing techniques, and patterns unique to various regions and minority groups. The brands all make use of traditional cultural identities whose clothing contains the historical and sentimental values of various regions and ethnic groups. The use and mixing of various cultures can be seen as the respectful preservation of global culture. Also, in contemporary fashion, the use of traditional culture plays an important role in the presentation and development of creative designs. The use of traditional handicraft techniques and the use of traditional clothing in the past convey cultural diversity to future generations; they will have a lasting influence on future fashion trends. The results of the study show that cultural sustainability in contemporary fashion has been implemented through safeguarding and respecting indigenous cultures and developing cultural elements into creative design.

        Microwave 처리가 폴리비닐실록산 인상재의 물리적 성질에 미치는 영향

        Infection control of dental impression has become an important issue for dental technician. Dental impressions may be contaminated with microorganisms from patient’s saliva and blood. A microwave treatment can be used as a method to disinfect dental prosthesis. The aim of this study was to evaluate the physical properties of polyvinyl siloxane impression materials after microwave treatment. We performed microwave treatments using electrical microwave oven with and without hydrogen peroxide. Detail reproduction, compatibility with gypsum, linear dimensional change, contact angle, strain-in-compression and elastic recovery were evaluated before and after microwave treatment. Experimental groups were composed with 6 groups by irradiated conditions such as 1, 2 and 3 minutes with and without hydrogen peroxide solution of 3 wt% in microwave chamber. Control group was no treatment group. The results of all tests showed that there were no significant differences between before and after microwave treatment(p>0.05). So we recommend that the microwave treatments for polyvinyl siloxane impressions would be used in clinical field.

        식물 유래 다당류/단백질 기반 마이크로캡슐/에멀젼 제조 및 평가

        본 연구에서는 다당류와 단백질의 이온 결합으로 구성된 마이크로캡슐 및 에멀젼을 제조하여 다당류, 단백질의 비율에 따른 마이크로캡슐과 에멀젼의 안정도를 평가하였으며, 마이크로캡슐의 내부 오일도 종류별로 실험하였다. 에멀젼 입도를 줄여 안정도를 높여주기 위해 고압유화기를 이용하여 에멀젼을 제조하였으며 내부 담지 물질로 코엔자임 Q10 안정화를 관찰한 결과 대조군 대비 역가 하락이 없었다. 석유 유래 계면활성제가 아닌 천연 유래 원료만으로 안정한 마이크로캡슐 제조에 성공한 것이다. 광학현미경, 투과전자현미경을 이용하여 마이크로캡슐 및 에멀젼의 물리적 안정도를 관찰하고 에멀젼의 구조분석을 하였으며, 입자의 표면전위 측정을 통하여 pH 조절에 의해 제조되는 다당류/단백질 마이크로캡슐의 제조 메커니즘을 설명한다. A novel microcapsule/emulsions for cosmetics was studied. Our present studies demonstrate that the biopolymer- stabilized microemulsion composed of polysaccharide and protein can encapsulate and stabilize remarkably coenzyme-Q10 (Q10). Polysaccharide and protein complex were incorporated in the microcapsule in order to reinforce the physical strength of the microspheres. We compared the long-term stability of the activity of Q10 in biopolymer- stabilized microemulsion. There was no noticeable negative effect on the activity of Q10. Optical microscope (OM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) showed that microcapsules were spherical and had a smooth surface. Consequently, the polysaccharide/protein emulsion produced in this study may be beneficial in improving the emulsion stability and the protection capability of labile substances.

        치과용 지르코니아의 in vitro 및 in vivo 생물학적 평가

        Recently, zirconia ceramics have been extensively used as the artificial tooth in modern dentistry on account of their excellent mechanical properties and good esthetics. The purpose of this study was to evaluate biocompatibility of zirconia ceramics using agar diffusion test, acute systemic toxicity, intracutaneous test and local lymph node assay(LLNA). For in vitro test, the agar diffusion assay was used sintered zirconia specimens (In-ceram YZ-55, VITA Co., Bad sackingen, Germany) were performed according to ISO 7405. For in vivo test, three different tests were carried out and samples were prepared according to ISO 10993-12 for all of the test. Acute systemic toxicity test and Intracutaneous test, were performed according to ISO 10993-11 and ISO 10993-10. The murine local lymph node assay test was performed according to OECD guide line 442 B. The overall criterion for the cytotoxicity of zirconia sample was 0. For the acute systemic toxicity test, no symptoms were observed during the visual observation of the animal. For the intracutaneous irritation test, there was no redness and swellings on the reaction sites. The result of LLNA test, the samples extractions in polar solvents showed average OD value of 1.078 and those in non-polar solvents showed average OD value of 1.059. The partially stabilized zirconia materials were proved to be biocompatible. The results of both in vitro and in vivo test concluded that the zirconia materials were biocompatible.

        소독액이 인상재의 표면특성에 미치는 영향

        Disinfection of dental impression is important process because of contamination which could cause cross-infection. The aim of this study was to evaluate the properties of dental impression after disinfection treatment. We performed the disinfection treatments using hypochlorous acid (Medilox<sup>®</sup>). The impression materials were alginates and polyvinyl siloxane. Specimens of each group were prepared by ISO 4823 and ISO 1563. The impression materials were sprayed with 0.5 % sodium hypochlorite, 2 % glutaraldehyde, 0.1 % povidone iodine and 0.006 % hypochlorous acid, en stored for 15 minute in sealed bag. Various tests (e.g., tail reproduction test,compatibility with gypsum,linear dimensional change test, contact angle measurement and scanning electron microscope observation) were performed. The results of all tests showed that there were no significant differences between before and after disinfection treatment (P>0.05). However, case of the contact angle measurement, it is confirmed that hydrophilicity was increased after disinfection treatment (P<0.05). We recommend to use a hypochlorous acid as a dental impression disinfectant.

        치과진료의자에서 사용되어지는 유·무선 컴퓨터 마우스의 표면오염 조사에 관한 연구

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to provide the importance of surface management through the identification of bacteria detected on the surface of a computer mouse attached to a dental unit chair. Methods: After rubbing with a sterilized cotton swab in the center of the left mouse button in the range of 1 cm × 1 cm, it was immediately put into 1.5 mL of sterile saline. colony forming units (CFUs) grown on Lysogeny broth (LB) agar plates were analyzed through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). Results: About 8 types of bacteria, gram-negative and gram-positive, were detected on the surface of the computer mouse attached to the dental unit chair. Conclusions: Infection control in the dental office should be prevented through surface contamination management of computer mouse attached to dental unit chairs.

        네트워크 속성이 중소기업의 국제화 속도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        This research divided social capital into three dimensions: structural capital, relational capital and cognitive capital. Besides examining how each type of dimensions affects the internationalization speed of SMEs, this study likewise investigated the moderating role of CEO innovativeness relative to the relationship between network dimensions and internationalization speed. The hypotheses were empirically tested by using the data collected through quedtionnaire survey with the CEOs of SMEs in Pusan and South Kyeongsang area in Korea. Research results based on the hypothesis verification analysis - led me to partially choose the hypothesis stating that network dimensions would influence the internationalization speed of SMEs. However, I dismissed the hypothesis that CEO innovativeness plays a moderating role in the relationship between network dimensions and internationalization speed. Research results have the following theoretical and practical contributions. This research applied network approach to certain regions to analyze them, and it has a theoretical significance as there was a noticeable result when the network approach was applied to SMEs in Busan and South Kyeongsang region. Also, from the practical perspective, the research suggested that SMEs can complement or use the knowledge and resource disadvantages, which they face while pushing toward internationalization, through the social capital within the network. Finally, the research can give a strategically useful implication to SMEs, which cannot put the potential benefits of internationalization into practice due to the lack of internal resources and their own abilities.
