      • 향기흡입이 항암 화학요법 환자의 오심ㆍ구토와 식욕부진에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of aroma oil inhalation using peppermint and bergamot on nauseaㆍvomiting and anorexia in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. Method: Study subjects were 30 patients who had experienced nausea and vomiting when they had been hospitalized in K university hospital located in D city to receiving more than two Cisplatin combination chemotherapy. Among them 15 patients were in the experimental group doing aroma oil inhalation and the other 15 patients were in the control group without aroma oil inhalation. The data were collected from February 1, 2002 to May 17, 2002. The data were collected from February 1, 2000 to May 17, 2002. The data were analyzed with SPSS WIN 10.0 program using frequency, percentage, X2-test, t-test, Repeated Measures ANOVA. Result: 1)The degree of nauseaㆍvomiting on the experimental group with aroma oil inhalation using peppermint and bergamot were significantly lower than that of the control group. 2)The degree of anorexia on the experimental group with aroma oil inhalation using peppermint and bergamot were significantly lower than that of the control group. Conclusion: aroma oil inhalation was effective for relieving patients' nauseaㆍvomiting and anorexia receiving chemotherapy. Therefore, it is proposed that aroma oil inhalation should be applied as a supportive nursing arbitration method to relieve patients' nauseaㆍvomiting and anorexia who are receiving chemotherapy.

        초등학교 5, 6학년 영어 교과서의 읽기 자료에 나타난 문화 연계 실태 및 문화 내용 분석

        This study aims to explore the connections between reading materials and culture, and the cultural contents in the 5th and 6th grade English textbooks. For this, 150 pieces of reading material in 10 English textbooks were analyzed based on three aspects: 1) whether the reading materials are connected with culture, 2) if so, how strongly the reading materials are tied to culture, 3) what cultural contents (topics, types, backgrounds) are suggested in the reading materials. The content analysis of the reading materials found that 66% (99 out of 150) of the reading materials were tied to culture with different degrees (weak, medium, strong). Specifically, 47.4% of the 99 reading materials turned out to have a weak connection with culture, whereas 23.2% had a medium connection and 29.2% had a strong connection. In addition, in terms of cultural contents suggested in the reading materials, topics about the daily lives of people from diverse cultural backgrounds were commonly dealt with in 78.1% of the reading material. For cultural types, material culture accounted for 45.8% of the reading materials, followed by spiritual and behavioral culture. Lastly, for cultural backgrounds, English culture was presented the most, followed by non-English and Korean culture. Based on the findings, some pedagogical implications were discussed.

        의류업계 광고전략과 가수들의 패션에 관한 연구

        Study on the Apparel Advertising Strategy and Popular Music Singer. From the 1990s popular musics begin to reflect modern fashion. Especially those dance musics such as Rap or Reggae captivate teenagers though the mass media. So middle-low price causal clothing companies hire the most poular singers as their role model. This marketing strategy succeeds to increas their sales and now many compaines compete to engage famous singers. In western countries where the music and the fahion have interacted for some times, famouse singers express their personalities through the clothes they wear. The consumers try to imitate them by puchasing smiliar clothsing. And it makes the apparel company to produce more goods. However, if those companies continue to be shortsighted in terms of increasing sales in the shortrun with out their personality and differentiation brand concept, they will only instigate the teenager`s consumption and they`ll fail to create their own fashion-style.

      • 대체요법 재교육에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 현재 피부관리실에서 이용되고 있는 대체요법의 활용실태와 대체요법 활용을 위해 이루어지고 있는 재교육 현황을 파악하기 위하여 실시되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 피부미용교육의 현주소와 재교육의 문제점을 알고 피부관리사의 체계적이고 전문화된 기초교육과 효율적인 재교육 프로그램을 개설함에 있어 기초자료를 제공하고자 함이 본 연구의 목적이다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 대체요법에 대한 교육여부를 살펴본 결과 89.3%가 받았다고 응답하였으며, 교육을 받은 경로는 제품회사의 교육을 통해서라고 응답한 피부관리사가 25.1%로 가장 많았다. 이 는 제품의 홍보를 목적으로 대체요법에 대한 교육을 실시하기 때문으로 보여진다. 교육받은 대체요법의 종류로는 경락마사지 23.6%, 아로마테라피 19.2%, 발반사 마사지 15.0% 순으로 나타났다. 피부관리사의 80.5%가 대체요법과 관련하여 재교육을 받아본 경험이 있다고 응답하였으며, 개인의 자질 및 업무 능력 향상과 다양화되는 고객의 요구 수용을 목적으로 재교육을 받는다고 응답하였다. 대체요법의 재교육 또는 추후 교육의 필요성을 묻는 질문에는 97.2%가 필요하다고 응 답하여 재교육의 필요성을 강하게 느끼고 있었다. 재교육의 필요성이 절실히 요구되고 있는 만큼 피부미용인의 자질향상과 전문성 고취를 위하여 적절한 시기에 저렴한 비용으로 필요한 교육을 제공받을 수 있도록 재교육을 담당하고 있는 미용단체나 교육기관에서 효율적인 재교육 프로그램을 개발ㆍ운영해야 할 것이다. This research was conducted to examine the alternative therapy practiced in skin care shops and the re-training circumstances given to under which the alternative therapy is practiced. Based on the research results, this study aims to find the present position of skin care education and re-training problems and provide the database which can help establish systemic and professional education and efficient re-training programs for skin specialists. The following results were obtained. 89.3% of the skin specialists responded that they got an alternative therapy education through manufacturers(25.1%) which usually provide the education in order to advertise their products. Types of alternative therapy include meridian(23.6%), aroma therapy(19.2%), and foot reflexology(15.0%). 80.5% of th skin specialists responded that they had reeducation concerning the alternative therapy. Most respondents answered they got re-training to improve their qualifications to meet the diverse needs of customers. When the necessity of re-training or further education of alternative therapy was questioned, 97.2% of their answers were affirmative. It suggests their strong desire for re-training. Because the re-training of alternative therapy is strongly demanded, beauty groups or educational institutions should develop and operate efficient re-training programs in order to provide necessary education at inexpensive expense at the right time for skin specialists to improve their qualifications and inspire their professionalism.

        킹스턴의 『 여인무사 』 에 나타난 대화적 기법 - 권위적 담론을 내적 설득담론으로 다시 쓰기 -

        This paper, a study of Kingston`s The Woman Warrior, focuses on her dialogic technique. Kingston in The Woman Warrior does not make use of multiple narrators, but in some ways her book is just as dialogic because she utilizes stories from a variety of sources and reveals to the reader the effect these stories have on her. Whether through multiple representations or through the use of what feminists call palimpsest techniques, Kingston insistently subverts a monologic reality. Her dialogic vision is rooted in her marginal position as woman and as a member of ethnic minority. The narrator of The Womanconflicting belief systems: Chinese vs. American; male vs. female; old vs. young. How she comes to terms with these conflicts and develops her own world view by listening to stories comprises the text. In The Woman Warrior the narrator Kingston takes the stories - the stories of her aunt, the warrior woman Fa Mu Lan, her mother Brave Orchid, her mother`s sister Moon Orchid, a Chinese poetess Ts`ai Yen - her mother has told her and adapts them for her own purposes. Kingston`s mother intends the stories to serve as a kind of authoritative discourse, complete and unquestionable. Kingston, however, turns the stories into internally persuasive discourse by applying them to new material, that is, her own life and creating details about the stories. In other words, by separating herself from her mother`s world, by negating and subverting that world`s presumptive meaning, Kingston can sort out a new integration of her mother`s stories and finally find a way to articulate her voice. In particular, in the end of the text, by recomposing Ts`ai Yen`s poem, Kingston moved beyond simple binary oppositions to multiple perspectives and meanings, to open - endedness. She has, in a sense, accepted the heteroglossic nature of society and contributed to it.

        Korean-English Bilingual Children’s Use of Code-switching

        본 연구의 목적은 이중 언어 구사 어린이들의 코드 스위칭 사용 양상을 기술함과 동시에 언어 자원으로서의 코드 스위칭에 대한 긍정적인 견해를 제시하는데 있다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 미국에 거주하는 나이 6-8세 사이의 12명의 한국어-영어 이중 언어 구사 어린이들이 본 연구에 참여하였다. 2008-2009학년도 기간 동안 수집한 어린이들과의 인터뷰 데이터를 분석함으로써 언어학적 및 사회 언어학적 측면에서 이들의 코드 스위칭 사용을 조사하였다. 연구 결과, 먼저 언어학적 측면에서는 문장 내 코드 스위칭, 그 중에서도 한국어 문장속에 영어 낱말이 삽입되는 언어 구조를 동반한 코드 스위칭이 특징적인 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 사회 언어학적 측면에서는 학교와 관련된 주제들 및 대화 상대자의 언어 선호도와 편의를 고려한 코드 스위칭의 사용이 두드러졌다. 또한 한국인으로서의 정체성 및 가족들과의 연대성 표출, 몇몇 대화적 기능들을 목적으로 하는 이중 언어 구사 어린이들의 코드 스위칭 사용이 밝혀졌다. The purpose of this study is to describe bilingual children’s use of code-switching and provide a positive view on code-switching as linguistic resource. For the purpose, twelve Korean-English bilingual children (six to eight years old) from immigrant families in the US participated in the study. The interview data with the children obtained in the 2008-2009 academic year was analyzed to investigate the children s code-switching instances from both linguistic and sociolinguistic perspectives. From the linguistic perspective, the study found that the code-switching of the young Korean-English bilingual children was characterized with the intrasentential type, especially with the sub-type of English in Korean code-switching. Within the sociolinguistic perspective, it was found that school-related topics and interlocutors language preference and choice seemed to affect the children s situational code-switching. In addition, the children s code-switching was observed in relation to their expression of ethnic identity and solidarity, and some conversational functions.
