경사면에서 참나무류 임분의 맹아 발생 및 생장 특성: 충청지역을 중심으로

This study was carried out to provide the technology of silvicultural practices and management for regeneration by sprouts in the oak forests distributed on the slope. A total of 1,451 stumps were examined for the following factors relative to the occurrence and growth of the sprouts: stump height & diameter; location & quantity and root collar diameter & height of arisen sprouts. The amount of sprouts deceased or increased as the stump diameter increased. However, it tended to increase with stump height. The difference in the stump height between direction of the upwards (DUS) and downward slopes (DDS) was occurred, because oak trees were felled lower based on direction of the upward for convenience of regeneration works on the slope. The number of sprouts was higher relatively in the stumps of DDS. The rate of arisen side and root sprouts was higher in the stumps of DDS and DUS, respectively. The stump height difference was found to affect the arisen part of sprouts. As a result of comparing the sprouts growth according to the arisen part, there was no difference in the stump of DUS, but the growth of side sprouts in the stump of DDS was higher than that of the root. In order to improve the quality of oak sprouts considering the distribution characteristics of the oak forests in South Korea, it is necessary to apply the silvicultural technique, making the cutting surface parallel with the slope to reduce the stump height difference, to suppress arising side sprouts. 본 연구는 경사면에 분포하는 참나무류 임분의 성공적인 맹아갱신을 통한 후계림 조성 및 관리 기술 개발을 위해 수행되었다. 맹아갱신작업지의 1,451개 그루터기 높이⋅벌근경과 맹아발생 부위⋅수, 맹아 근원경⋅높이 등 맹아 발생과 생육에 관한 인자들을 조사하였다. 그루터기 벌근경이 커질수록 맹아발생량이 감소하거나 증가하였지만, 그루터기 높이에 따라 맹아발생량은 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 경사면 맹아갱신작업의 편의상 참나무류 임분은 사면상부 방향을 기준으로 낮게 벌채하기 때문에 사면상부와 하부 방향의 그루터기 높이차가 발생하는 것으로 파악되었다. 상대적으로 높이가 높은 사면하부 방향의 그루터기에서 맹아발생량이 많았으며, 사면하부 방향에서는 측면맹아, 사면상부 방향에서는 근부맹아 발 생률이 높아 그루터기 높이차는 맹아가 발생하는 부위에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사면방향(상부⋅하부)에 따른 발 생부위별 맹아 생장상태를 비교한 결과, 사면상부 방향에서는 생장량에 차이가 없는 반면 사면하부 방향에서는 측면맹아 의 생장이 근부맹아 보다 높았다. 참나무류 맹아의 품질을 향상시키기 위해서는 경사면에 분포하는 참나무류 임분의 분포 특성을 고려하여 벌채면을 경사면과 평행하도록 그루터기 높이차를 줄여 측면맹아 발달을 억제하는 시업 적용이 필요하다.
Spontaneous Disappearance of Unruptured Intracranial Aneurysm: A Case Report

Spontaneous resolution or thrombosis of giant or ruptured intracranial aneurysms is occasionally reported. However, spontaneous resolution of unruptured aneurysms without any intervention is extremely rare. Recently, we encountered a case of spontaneous resolution of a small unruptured aneurysm of the anterior communicating artery. We describe this rare case and discuss the mechanism of resolution with a review of the related literature.

The government has continued supply of public rental housing since the rental housing fostering plan was announced in 1982. In recent years, the characteristics of housing demand on rental housing have diversified considerably so that the government is now reviewing a flexible way to supply rental housing in consideration of the characteristic of the rent housing demand, which is different from existing uniform move-in criteria set by the supply system providing rent housing. This study aimed to provide foundational data for a variety of rent housing types in consideration of the demand on public rental housing thereby analyzing the residence periods per residence characteristic based on the move-in/out data in the National Rental Housing supplied to Seoul City. This study analyzed 2,226 tenants that moved out for the last eight years from 15,000 national rental housing in Seoul managed by the Seoul Housing (SH) Corporation. The analysis results are as follows: first, an average residence period of moved-out households from the national rental housing in Seoul was about 33 months. Second, the larger the size of the house was, the shorter the average residency period was. Third, the average residency period was similar regardless of the residency characteristics (gender, age, and supply type). Fourth, the analysis result on the residency period based on the move-out reason showed that most (85%) of the move-out were voluntary initiated by the tenant request followed by failure by income and eligibility test, and others. This study analyzed residency periods of moved-out households from the national rental housing empirically in order to determine an appropriate rental period to develop the tailored rental house types in consideration of the rental demand characteristics.
