        Ubiquitous Vertical Farm의 u-주거공간 서비스 도출에 관한 연구

        Large-scale urban developments with increasing population and expansion of industrial facilities have destroyed the ecosystem. Consequently, the importance of vertical farm as a form of urban agriculture is increasing. However, such problems of vertical farms as economy and lack of awareness of residents are being raised. Firstly, this study derived types of vertical farm that are applicable to residential spaces through an examination of vertical farm buildings, and then inferred assessment items for a questionnaire survey for the development of u-services. Secondly, based on the issues deduced from the survey, u-services needed in vertical farm buildings were derived to use them as the basic data when we plan for a ubiquitous vertical farm building in residential space in the future. As result, the following uservices of ubiquitous vertical farm were proposed: u-notification service about the condition of crops from the aspect of growth management based on ubiquitous technology, remote/automatic control u-services, harvest information u-service for harvest management, recipe information u-service, and indoor air quality monitoring u-service, indoor environment adjusting u-service, and farm environment control u-service. Considering that many new buildings in Korea are residential buildings and many high-rise buildings are being planned, studies on vertical farm buildings must be continued.

        노인전문병원 평면구조의 위계에 관한 연구

        Increase in the elderly population has given rise to various social problems throughout Korean society, and what is more, although the greater demand of medical treatment, its development is still in its early stages. Given that Specialized Geriatrics Hospital has stood amid a range of spatial complication and it should faithfully reflect the needs of elderly population, we need a better understanding of Specialized Geriatrics Hospital. This study suggested the foundation to plan of Specialized Geriatrics Hospital through analyzing and evaluating spatial configuration of Specialized Geriatrics Hospital by "Space Syntax" and "J-Graph" The study focused on Specialized Geriatric Hospitals existing in Korea which owned more than 100 beds. The result of this study is summarized as follows; First, the rate of separated convex showed that the portions of the Treatment of outpatients and Supply have increased, but on the other hand the portion of the The ward has been on the decrease. Second, in the case of Treatment of outpatients, it was structured Tree-shaped and the Tree-shaped could be separated with two types: waiting room and waiting room with lounge. In the case of The ward, it was structured Tree-shaped and also Ring-shaped. The more recently opened Geriatrics Hospital, the closer to Ring-shaped. Third, the access to the Ccentral treatment was low though the access to the core of the each floor was high. Fourth, in the progress of Intelligibility, the fact that its value has decreased is becoming a serious problem of medical development for the elderly population Finally, according to J-graph"s analysis, the hallway made the spatial depth of rooms and public space more deepened. This caused by scattered arrangement of public spaces. As the only planning were considered in this study, it therefore needs more diversified approaches considering physical factors such like real distance and area.

        실내공간 깊이와 광선반 규격 변화에 의한 광선반 성능평가 시뮬레이션 연구

        There are so much of researches underway in order to find out the solution to 22% higher lighting energy consumed by a building. In particular, many studies on light shelves are ongoing due to the merits such as guiding light inflow into deep inside a building as well as allowing excessive shading. The existing literatures fail to provide adequate basis in designing light shelves for various sized space, as they are limited only to performance evaluation on variables of light shelves. In this study, performance evaluation on light shelves was performed by dividing space depth at the interval of 1m for 3~8m, to draw a conclusion as follows: 1)First, the analysis resulted in 6m, 4m and 3m of space depth that entirely meets standard intensity of illumination 400lux, with light shelves not installed for Winter Solstice, Summer Solstice and Spring/Autumnal Equinox Day, while it showed 4∼6m, 3∼4m and 3∼4m with light shelves installed in depth and at angle as specified by this study, telling us there was no Daylighting Efficiency by changes in space depth except Summer Solstice even with light shelves installed. 2)The performance of light shelves depended on, in order, the specular surface of light shelves, the reflection of ceiling and the position of third reflection to be changed by space depth which have to be considered as an element in designing. Especially in the cases of at the angle of 20° during Winter Solstice and angle of 30° during Spring/Autumnal Equinox Day, extra care should be paid while designing a light shelf that will directly guide light inflow to indoor through its specular surface. 3)As the depth of light shelf increased, the shade size caused by light shelfrose along with higher uniformity ratio of illuminance, while it reduced with less uniformity ratio of illuminance as the angle of light shelf increased. 4)Considering the space depth set by this study, light inflow and reflection type through light shelf and uniformity ratio of illuminance, the adequate proposals were drawn as an external light shelf of 10° and 0.3m in depth, an external light shelf of 20° and 0.3m in depth, and an external light shelf of 30° and 1.2m in depth, for Winter Solstice, Spring/Autumnal Equinox Day, and Summer Solstice, respectively. However, for Summer Solstice, it was determined that the most appropriate proposal was an external light shelf of 0.3m in depth, considering the fact that an external light shelf with the angle of 30° is efficient in general and that the angle of a light shelf is changed by operation. This study provides meaningful performance evaluation on light shelf by space depth. Further multilateral studies will be required in consideration of the height and the depth of space as the element of space size.

        u-주거공간의 u-서비스 추출 방법론 및 적용에 관한 연구

        The u-City construction plan being executed presently involves such problem that services are provided in a suppliers-oriented direction while there are not much discussions on what u-Services citizens should be provided with and what u-Services that city government the supplier shall provide. In order to implement citizen-friendly u-Services the type of u-Services that offer just the right services efficient and convenient for citizens, u-Services should be provided based on active researches on the citizens’ use and utilization of u-Services rather than u-Services being provided in suppliers’ perspective as so far. To that end, there need be recognition and well-organized methodology that u-Services should be provided through humane, social and scientific analysis of the citizens that are to be provided with u-Services. Thus, in this study, the process of u-Services being transmitted was re-interpreted as background theory to deduce and apply services appropriate for u-Residential Space, and service science for u-Services the scientific and overall approach to seek for service innovation was applied to the development of u-Service deduction method based on such background theory. The u-Service methodology developed based on service science is judged able to deduce and provide u-Services appropriate for the intended services through scientific analysis of citizen-friendly u-Services.

        광덕트의 채광성능 개선을 위한 이중반사형 산광부 개발

        Increasing use of lighting energy has become a social issue that needs to be urgently resolved and, as a solution to this problem, light duct is being actively researched as a natural lighting system. However, light diffuser has not been studied as thoroughly as light collector and light transmitter, despite being an important part of daylight ducts as it directly concerns light environemnt and comfort of occupants. This study proposed a double reflective light diffuser (Case 2) and demonstrated its performance by comparing its lighting performance with that of conventional light diffuser (Case 1) by using light environment analysis system Radiance. The results were as follows: 1) the average indoor illumination of Case 2 was higher than that of Case 1 and this was caused by light diffuser by double reflection in Case 2; 2) uniformity ratio of illuminance of Case 2, in comparison to Case 1, was improved by 77.4%, 74.1%, and 70.0% in summer, middle season, and winter, respectively; 3) daylight factor of Case 2, in comparison to Case 1, was improved by 74.4%, 76.9%, and 81.0% in summer, middle season, and winter, respectively, proving effectiveness of Case 2 proposed by this study.

        광선반 채광성능 개선을 위한 프리즘시트 적용 방안 연구

        Recently, there has been an increase in the number of studies on the performance of light shelf with an aim of solving the issue of increasing lighting energy consumption in the building sector. However, the efficiency of the light shelf is limited in terms of building energy saving as operating technologies are applied to improve the daylighting performance in response to the external environment. Therefore, this study proposes a light shelf using a prism sheet and aims to verify its effectiveness based on performance evaluation through a full-scale test bed. The conclusions of the study are as follows : 1) This study derived the optimal variables for light shelf installation (Case 1), prism sheet attachment (Case 2), and light shelf with prism sheet (Case 3). 2) Based on the optimal variables, saving lighting energy was achieved in Case 3 compared to Case 1 and Case 2 by 2.6% and 14.9%, respectively. In addition, the fixed type of Case 3 at the angle of 0° led to saving of lighting energy compared to Case 2 and Case 3 by 2.6% and 14.9%, respectively. The results reveal that Case 3 proposed in this study is effective in terms of using the prism sheet to obtain the daylighting efficiency of a movable light shelf. 3) Based on the optimal angles derived for each case, the uniformity of Case 3 can be improved by 11.4% and 12.1% in the summer, and 0% and 6.3% in the mid-season, compared to Case 1 and Case 2, respectively. However, the application of the prism sheet during winter reduces the uniformity, so it is preferable to remove the prism sheet during winter.

        주거공간 내 사용자인식기술 및 조명 디밍제어 적용 광선반 시스템 성능평가 연구

        The energy used by buildings occupies 38% of the entire energy usage in Korea, of which lighting consumes 22% in considerable amount. Accordingly, various tests and researches to reduce energy consumed by buildings, especially consumption of indoor lighting energy have been constantly carried out. This study has suggested a light shelf system applied with user awareness technology and lighting dimming control system on the basis of light shelf system, user awareness technology and lighting control, and verified energy reduction efficiency by comparing results of energy reduction performance evaluation for the suggested light shelf. In order to verify energy reduction of the suggested system, a test bed has been utilized, energy consumptions have been calculated for 3 types including user unawareness and lighting On/Off control light shelf system, user awareness and lighting On/Off control light shelf system, user awareness and lighting dimming control light shelf system, and users have been set to User A, User B, and User C for family members of 60s, 40s, and 10s. The results are shown below. 1) Lighting energy consumption for user awareness technology and lighting On/Off control applied movable type light shelf system showed 105%, 55%, and 20% for User A, User B, and User C comparing to user unawareness and lighting On/Off control applied 0˚ fixed light shelf system and in the case of User A, it has increased energy usage and is inappropriate. 2) Lighting energy consumption for user awareness technology and lighting dimming control applied movable type light shelf system showed %, 13%, and 6% for User A, User B, and User C comparing to user unawareness and lighting On/Off control applied 0˚ fixed light shelf system, and allowed efficient energy reduction. This study is significant from an aspect that it has suggested an alternative to energy shortage problem by applying user awareness technology and lighting control technology and verifying effectiveness of energy reduction in order to improve lighting performance and energy efficiency of the light shelf.

        PV 부착 광선반의 채광성능 및 에너지 저감 기초 연구

        Because of the recent increase in energy consumption in the building sector, more studies are being conducted to address this issue. As a part of this research, some studies have focused on solving the building-energy problem by combining the PV and light shelf, whereas previous studies examined the role of the PV by attaching it to the front of the reflector. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to derive the optimal specifications for the light shelf with PV by carrying out a performance evaluation of the lighting energy reduction and concentration according to the PV attachment area of the light shelf. This study established a full-scale test bed and an artificial light environment in order to prove the effectiveness of building-energy reduction by deriving the lighting-energy consumption and concentration energy according to the PV attachment area and light-shelf angle. The conclusions are as follows. (1) The optimal light-shelf angle to reduce the lighting energy for the conventional light shelf without PV was 30° for summer and -10° for winter. (2) The optimal light-shelf angle to increase the concentration efficiency of the light shelf with PV was -10° for summer and -60° for winter. (3) The light-shelf variables to reduce its lighting energy with PV and to increase the concentration efficiency of the PV were derived. Given the optimal variables thus derived, the light shelf with PV reduced building energy between 23.7 and 58.1 percent more than did the light shelf without PV, which proves its effectiveness.
