Alcohol and Alcohol Problem Perception Questionnaire(AAPPQ)는 음주문제를 가진 클라이언트와의 실천에 대한 사회복지사의 태도를 측정하는 유용한 도구이다. 본 연구는 한국어판 AAPPQ의 신뢰도와 타당도를 객관적으로 평가하여 음주문제를 가진 클라이언트와의 실천에 대한 사회복지사의 태도를 파악하는데 적합한 도구인지 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 사회복지 분야에서 근무하는 사회복지사 243명이 조사에 참여하였다. AAPPQ 원척도는 역할적절성, 역할정당성, 역할지지, 의지 및 동기, 업무특수적 자아존중감, 업무만족의 6요인 30문항으로 구성되어 있으나 분석 결과 역할적절성, 역할지지, 업무만족, 역할정당성의 4요인 16문항이 도출되었다. 한국어판 AAPPQ의 하위요인별 신뢰도는 .74에서 .93으로 양호하였다. 한국어판 AAPPQ와 이론적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 예상한 치료낙관 척도와 음주 관련 직접서비스 업무 비율과도 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타나 수렴타당도가 확보되었다. 한국어판 AAPPQ의 개발로 음주문제 클라이언트와의 실천에 관한 태도 연구가 활성화되기를 바란다. Alcohol and Alcohol Problem Perception Questionnaire (AAPPQ) is an instrument measuring professionals’ attitude toward working with clients who have alcohol problems. The purpose of this study is to evaluate if a Korean version of the AAPPQ is an appropriate instrument to measure the attitude of social workers in South Korea. A total of 243 social workers participated in the study. The original version of the AAPPQ has 6 factors and 30 items, but the results of a series of exploratory factor analyses showed that the Korean version has 4 factors and 16 items. Its reliability was satisfactory. Results also showed its satisfactory validity manifesting the expected significant relationships with theoretical variables. With the development of the Korean version of the AAPPQ, it is expected that more research on social workers’ attitudes toward practice with clients having alcohol problem will be conducted.

Even with no work of codifying treaty or principle relating to outer space and no concrete progress in the discussion of the definition and delimitation of outer space since the UNISPACE Ⅲ, the Legal Subcommittee of COPUOS has played a pivotal role of clarifying and elaborating main concept and principle of space law through its constructive process of discussions. First of all, character and utilization of Geostationary Orbit(GSO) has been determined as a result of compromise between space-faring and non-space-faring countries. In return for giving up its persistent claim of sovereignty or preferential right towards GSO, developing countries have been acquired equitable access to GSO. This will be recorded as a good precedent of how the principle of international cooperation can be realized in the area of space law. Driven by recent increase in space activities of private company, current space law has manifested its limitations in application. The Legal Subcommittee has recently adopted a draft UN General Assembly resolution relating to the concept of launching State, to be submitted to the 59th UN General Assembly in 2004. When such draft will get approval from UN General Assembly, it will certainly stimulate the codification of domestic legislation on outer space for all UN Members and will contribute toward enhancing the effectiveness of space law through harmonizing each domestic space law on a voluntary basis. Another issue deserving consideration that is still under way of discussion in the Legal Subcommittee is the preparation for a space asset protocol. This protocol aims at facilitating funding for owner of space objects through establishing an international registry. Discussions in the Subcommittee focus on (a) the appropriateness of UN as a Supervisory Authority in the protocol and (b) relationship of such protocol with the existing space law. They will be expected to contribute to the expansion of the area of current space law and to bringing about the clarification and elucidation of main concepts of space law through constructive dialogue between public and private sides of space law.

In Korea, pedestrian accidents account for about 40% of traffic accident mortality. Head injuries are 60% of the cause of death in pedestrian accidents. Therefore, the Pedestrian head protection performance test protocol using adult and child head impactors has been proposed in K-NCAP. The testing method was created based on the Ministry of Construction and Transportation research program and global technical regulation of pedestrian safety by UNECE WP29. The impact velocity of the head impactor was set at 40㎞/h. The evaluation method was created based on the Euro-NCAP method. In order to evaluate the difference in the vehicle safety performance, a sliding scale was adopted to convert the injury values ranging from HIC 1000 to HIC 1700 to the score.

In this study, the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for school bus in the United States are reviewed and compared to the safety standards in Korea. School bus transportation is one of the safest forms of transportation in the United States. In the legislative history of the School Bus Safety Amendments of 1974, Congress indicated that school transportation should be held to the highest level of safety. Today, there are four standards unique to school buses and six standards that have unique requirements specific to school buses. But in Korea, safety standards of school bus are mitigated than that of passenger car's. To improve school bus passenger's safety, proposed regulations are discussed.<br/> <br/>
압축기-연소실 일체형인 리니어엔진에서 스프링 강성에 따른 연소 및 동적 특성 연구

This study was investigated experimentally on the effects of the stiffness of springs applied to linear compressor chambers. The applied springs could prevent to conflicting between engine piston head and engine head cover as well as be available saving the regenerative energy. The bore size of linear engine is 30 ㎜, the maximum stroke is 31 ㎜ and effective stroke volume of a cylinder is 25.45 ㏄ respectively. The spring stiffness were varied such as 0, 0.5, 1.00, 2.9 and 14.7 N/㎜. The linear engine was fueled with pre-mixture combined with LPG (propane 99%) and air. As an experimental result, when the high spring stiffness was used, the stroke was more increased and also the piston frequency was increased too. Also, increasing the spring stiffness, the regenerative energy and piston velocity were more increased. Because of these results, it thought that the efficiency of linear engine was increased.

This study was experimentally investigated the effects of the spring stiffness on top dead center(TDC), combustion and dynamic characteristics of two-stroke free piston linear engine. The linear engine generator power was increased by the engine speed(Hz). Using the high spring stiffness decreases stroke and increases the engine speed. In this study, using the Linaer engine on dual piston type. It has a bore size of 30mm and maximum stroke of 31mm. The effective stroke volume of each cylinder is 25.45CC. Stiffness of the spring 1.00 [N / mm], 2.9 [N / mm], 4.9 [N / mm], 14.7 [N / mm] was a variable. The engine was fueled with pre-mixture of LPG(butane 70% propane 30%) and air.

Linear engine has the advantage in the volume and weight by the crankless structure. Thus, linear engine was easy to apply linear engine to hybrid vehicles. But linear engine was not commercialized because of difficulty of engine control. This study development Power pack of linear engine. The Power pack that constituted linear engine, compressors and linear alternators was 12.8kg. Fuels of propane delivered combustion cylinder through compressors by a carburetor. The conductance was changed from 0.04 to 0.16mho. And the ignition timing was 5.05mm before maximum stroke. As a result, when the conductance increased, frequency, strok, input calories, maximum pressure and thermal efficiency were decreased trends, and IMEP and electric power were increased trends.
