Easy check system for cardiac function was developed for computer user n this study. EKG amplifier was designed to remove a common noise and muscle noise. EKG pattern, and calculated real time heart rate and probability of arrhythmia were displayed in personal computer. This system would be an effective tool for checking cardiac function in everyone using computer.
개량(改良) Mulching 담배밭 부근뽕잎이 춘잠작(春蠶作)에 미치는 영향(影響)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

개량 Mulching 재배법에 의한 조기재배담배밭부근 뽕잎이 춘잠작에 미치는 영향을 알고져, 담배 밭으로부터 뽕밭이 서북쪽에 위치하고, 경사도는 20% 미만으로 뽕밭이 높게 위치하였으며, 시험기간중의 풍향은 담배밭을 거쳐 뽕밭 쪽으로 불어오는 남풍과 동남풍이 각각 36%로 주풍이었고 동풍이 그 다음으로 18%의 상태인, 담배 밭으로부터 l00m 떨어진 처리구를 대조로 하고 10m, 25m, 50m, 80m별로 시험구를 설정하여 각처리의 뽕으로 누에 사육을 통한 영향여부를 조사한 결과, 시험사육기간중 육만으로 식별할 수 있을 정도의 중독잠 내지 폐사잠은 발견할 수 없었으나 그 결과에 나타난 피해상황은 다음과 같다. 다만, 같은 뽕밭의 뽕이라도 경사도가 낮고, 담배 밭에 가까운 곳일수록 뽕나무의 발육이 양호하였고, 엽질면에서도 우량한 뽕잎의 사육결과였음에도 불구하고, 본 시험결과에 대한 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 5영극도 잠종중에는 담배 밭으로부터 25m 구까지 감초의 영향을 미쳤다. 2. 생견 1ι과수 역시 담배 밭으로부터 25m 구까지는 고치가 작았다. 3. 전견종과 견층종에서도 담배 밭으로부터 25m 구까지 피해를 주었으며 그 정도는 전견중보다 견층중에 더 큰 영향이 미치어서 그 결과 견층비율이 일층 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 4. 옥견포함 1만두 수견량에서도 담배 밭에서 25m 구까지는 수량이 감소되고 있으며 그 정도는 1차 시험에 있어서는 처리구는 대조에 비하여 10m 구에서는 2.4kg, 25m 구는 2.5kg의 차이로 대조보다 19%가 감수되었으며, 2차에서는 10m 구는 1.8kg, 25m 구는 1.5kg의 차이로 각각 11%, 9%의 감수를 보였다. 이상을 종합하여 보면 대조구의 뽕의 질이 좋지 못하였던 점을 감안한다면 본 시험에서 얻어진 거리 및 감량이상의 피해를 받을 가능성을 시사하며, 본 시험에서의 피해한계 거리는 25m∼50m 사이에 있는 것 같다. The studies are to know how much cocoon crops is damaged by the stained leaf with nicotine produced from the tobacco field cultivated in mulching system in spring season and by residual nicotine in autumn season. Furthermore, the new knowledges are to make both industries keep up with their development. In spring season mulberry field is located higher on the West-North of tobacco held below 20 degrees of slope and with 36 per cent of East-South wind and 18 per cent of South wind blowing from tobacco field to the mulberry field. In addition, silkworm larvae are fed with the mulberry leaf produced in the different plots placing by the different distances, 10m, 25m, 50m, 80m, and 100m far from the tobacco field as a control and it is also considered that narcotic larvae including the dead larvae are not observed. On the other hand, it is noted that better leaf quality and abundant growth of mulberry tree is produced from the mulberry fold closer to the tobacco field and with a low slope. 1) Maximum weight of larval body at the 5th stage is damaged by the stained leaf with the nicotine up to 25m far from the tobacco field. 2) The larvae fed with the mulberry leaf in mulberry Held up to 25m far from the tobacco field produce small number of the fresh cocoons per 1 litre. 3) Low single cocoon weight and low cocoon shell weight are produced by the poison damaged larvae fed with the mulberry, leaf up to 25m far from the tobacco field and weight of cocoon shell is damaged higher than the single cocoon weight. It is resulted in low percentage of cocoon shell. 4) Cocoon yield including the double cocoon from 10,000 larvae is decreased by the larvae fed with the stained leaf in the mulberry fold up to 25m far from the tobacco field and 19 per cent of cocoon yield is decreased with 2.4kg of cocoon yield in 10m plot and with 2.5kg of cocoon yield in 25m plot at the first season and at the 2nd season with 1.8kg of cocoon yield in 10m plot and with 11.5kg of cocoon yield in 25m plot, 11 per cent and 9 per cent of cocoon yield including double cocoon from 10,000 larvae is decreased, as compared with the control, respectively. With these results, it is observed that nicotine damage is occurred to the silkworm larvae if the larvae are fed with the leaf in the mulberry Held within 25m-50m far from the tobacco field.

N/A Barrett's esophagus is a condition in which the normal stratified squamous mucosa of the esophagus is replaced by columnar mucosa, and it may be suspected on abnormal findings of endoscopy and the diagnosis is usually proved by biopsy. We have observed 10 cases suspecting with Barrett's esophagus on the endoscopic findings. Only 5 cases of them, however, could be proved as columnar epithelium-linked esophagus with histological examination. We observed for clinical features regarding age, sex, symptorns, habits, locations, combined diseases, and combined laboratory abnormalities for them. No significant differences of clinical features except serum lipid levels were seen between both groups of Barretts esophagus and chronic esophagitis. 1) All 5 patients with columnar epithelium-linked esophagus was male, and age distribution was from 35 to 60 with mean age of 50. 2) Number of the patients who complained reflux symptoms was 2 out of 5 patients. 3) There were 2 heavy alcohol consumers, 1 coffee drinkers, and 2 heavy cigarette smokers. 4) Location of the lesion was seen on upper esophagus in 3 cases, and on lower esophagus in 2 cases. 5) As a combined diseases, 2 cases with duodenal ulcer, 2 cases with fatty liver, one case with hepatitis, and one patient with rectal polyp. 6) In all 5 patients, serum cholesterol, serum triglyceride level, or both were elevated.

We have studied local magnetization reversal by laser annealing in exchange biased NiFe/FeMn bilayer. Local magnetization reversal was performed by using the DPSS laser under external magnetic field of 600G. When the laser illuminated the patterned film with the power of above 300 ㎽ during 15 min, a magnetoresistance (MR) curve with symmetric peaks at the opposite field was obtained due to the local reversal of exchange biasing. The direction of exchange anisotropy in the locally reversed region can be restored by local laser annealing under alternating magnetic field, even if its MR peak was reduced by the damage and interdiffusion. The magnetic domain structure of the locally reversed region was measured by MFM. The new domains were generated by laser annealing near the exposed area.

To get the spatial feature of arterial pulse, we designed spatial pulse diagnostic apparatus (SPDA) using a 2-dimensional magnetoresistive sensor array. The magnetic field distribution for magnet array was simulated using finite element method. We recognized that the field distribution of parallel magnet arrays was more sensitive and uniformed than that of perpendicular one. Also the spatial displacements of magnet array were agreed with the output signal of magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) sensor array.

Dependence of magnetoresistance on base pressure and deposition rates of each Fe, Co, Cu layers in the Fe(50 Å)/[Co(17 Å)/Cu(24 Å)_(20) multilayer thin films, prepared by dc magnetron sputtering on Corning glass, were investigated. AFM analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, vibrating sample magnetometer analysis, and magnetoresistance measurement (4-probe method) were performed. The multilayer films deposited under low base pressure increases magnetoresistance ratio by preventing oxidation. Annealing for the samples at a moderate temperature allowed larger textured grain with no loss in the periodicity. Magnetoresistance ratio of the annealed multilayers was increased due to the increase antiferromagnetically coupled fraction of the film after annealing. Optimization of deposition rate was greater than 1 Å/s for Fe, and 2.8 Å/s for Cu. Deposition rate of Co showed a tendency of increasing of magnetoresistance ratio due to the formation of flat magnetic layer in case of high deposition rate of Co.
