This study was conducted in order to improve opening efficiency of the miniaturized small-scale net for anchovy boat seine gear to reduce the fleet size. Field experiment was performed to observe geometry of nets by catcher boats. When the distance between the two ships was 150, 300 and 450 m and the speed of towing nets was 0.6, 0.9, and 1.2 kt, the vertical opening and actual opening of each part of the miniaturized small-scale net was as follows: the front part of the wing net, 6.8-9.5 m, 45-63%; the middle part of the wing net, 16.1-30.7 m, 34-65%; the entrance of the inside wing net, 21.6-41.2 m, 44-84%; the square and bosom, 17.4-34.0 m, 38-75%; the entrance of the body net, 16.5-29.4 m, 36-64%; the entrance of the bag net, 14.5-21.9 m, 70-106%; the flapper, 6.7-7.7 m, 81-83%, and the end of the bag net, 8.6-10.9 m, 64-81%. The tension of towing nets was measured to be 2,734-6,812 kg approximately, which indicates that the fleet can tow nets with 350 hp, the standard engine horse power. The fishing operation time was shortened comparing to existent net with the large-scale buoy attachment operation. It was also possible to operate the ship without fish detecting boat.

This study is intended to provide navigator with specific information necessary to assist the avoidance of collision and the operation of ships to evaluate the maneuverability of dead weight tonnage 8,000 tons Oil/Chemical tanker. The actual maneuvering characteristics of ship can be adequately judged from the results of typical ship trials. Author carried out sea trials based full scale for turning test, Z” maneuvering test, man overboard rescue maneuver test, inertia stopping test. Consequently, 2st Overshoot yaw angle of the semi balanced rudder and flap rudder in ±20° zig.zag test showed 22.2° and 18.0°, respectively. The maneuverability of the vessel was good in the flap rudder. The man overboard rescue maneuver maneuverability test was most favorable in the flap rudder and the full load condition. The results from tests could be compared directly with the standards of maneuverability of IMO and consequently the maneuvering qualities of the ship is full satisfied with its.

The feeding habits of daggertooth pike conger Muraenesox cinereus were studied using 380 specimens collected in the coastal waters off Goseong, Korea, from June to September, 2011. The M. cinereus ranged from 10.0-23.7 cm in anal length (AL). M. cinereus is a piscivore that consumes mainly fish. Engraulis japonicus was the preferred prey, but its diet also included small numbers of crabs, shrimps, cephalopods, and bivalves. The feeding strategy graphical method revealed that M. cinereus is a specialized feeder with a narrow niche width. All size classes of M. cinereus consumed fish and M. cinereus did not show significant ontogenetic changes in feeding habits. The diet overlap index between size classes was >0.96, indicating high diet similarities. The prey size increased significantly with M. cinereus size.

일본의 어업 침투는「조일통어장정」체결로 일본 어선에 의한 어업의 침투가 본격화된 이후 통감부의 「어업법」및 「조선어업령」을 공포하여 조선인 소유 어장의 약탈을 자행하면서 강압적이고 약탈적인 일본의 어업 침투가 진행되었다. 개항 기에는 조선침략정책의 일환인 일본어민 이주정책 및 어업권 소유를 통하여 조선 연해의 어업권을 전면적으로 장악해 나갔으며 일본인 위주로의 어업 재편, 일본 어민에 의한 조선 어민의 통제, 어획량 및 유통분야 장악을 통한 어업침탈이 자행되었다. 일제강점기에 권현망어업(權現網漁業)은 일본의 어구어법을 답습하여 시작된 이후 급속한 자본화가 진행된 어업이었으나 일본인 어업자들은 어업의 운영에 강력한 주도권을 행사하였으며 자신들의 어업상 이권보호를 목적으로 광도온망어업조합(廣島鰮網漁業組合)의 어업자 단체를 결성하였다. 광복 이후의 권현망어업은 혼란기를 거치면서 급속도의 침체기가 있었으나 어선의 규모화 및 기계화를 위한 투자확대가 수반되고 개별경영의 노력이 어장확대 경향으로 나타나게 되었다. 그러나 어장의 확대는 오히려 연안의 지역 간 어업갈등의 원인이 되었고 어업경비 상승, 어장 축소, 자원감소에 따른 경영여건의 악화가 초래되었으나 지속적인 어업의 기계화를 통한 권현망어업의 경쟁력 강화 및 경영기반 확충을 이루어 현재의 어업으로 발전하게 되었다. 향후 권현망어업의 지속가능 및 생력형 어업시스템 구축을 위해서는 타 어업과의 어업분쟁 해소와 조업자동화시스템 구축 등이 필요한 시점이다 This paper focused on fishery despoliation of Japan and history of anchovy boat seine fisheries. The periodic changes can be summarized as Japanese colonial era(open-port period in Korea, Japanese colonial rule period about fishery) and era since the national liberation(1945, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and post in 1980s). The despoliation of Japan started by declaration of residency-general’s general fishery rule and Joseon(sometimes called as Lee Dynasty) fishery rule. Japan residency-general grasped Joseon s fishing ground using the immigration expansion and fishing right possession of Japan fishermen as a part of Joseon aggression policy in open-port period in Korea. The Joseon fishery industry rapidly collapsed by fishing structure oriented japan fisherman, control of Joseon fishermen, seizure of fish catch quantity, and distribution channel by Japan fishermen. Anchovy boat seine fisheries in japanese colonial rule period followed Japan s fishing gear technology and methods. As a result, Anchovy boat seine fisheries lost the initiative of fishing activity. They organized Kwangdo-Onmang fishery union for the purpose of protecting Joseon fishermen. Anchovy boat seine fisheries had been in a state of disorder and stagnation from 1945 to 1950s. The economy of scale and mechanization about fishing boat since 1960s provoked the fishing ground extension tendency. The extension of fishing ground occurred a rising trend of fishing cost, the reduction of fishing ground and fisheries resource, and the trouble between fishermen who had a field of fishing in the shore zone. Anchovy boat seine fisheries must find trouble solution Development of and build the automatic fishing system for the sustainable fisheries system construction from now on.
