In this study, in-situ performance test of a wet surface finned-tube evaporator of an air source heat pump which has a rating capacity of 20RT is carried out. Since test conditions, such as indoor and outdoor air conditions cannot be controlled to satisfy the standard test conditions, experiments are done with the inlet air conditions as they exist, From the experimental data, air side heat and mass transfer coefficients were calculated by the well known heat and mass transfer analogy and tube-by-tube method. since current procedure underpredicted the experimental sensible heat factor(SHF), a proper empirical parameter was introduced to predict the experimental data with satisfactory results. This study provides the method of evaluating the heat and mass transfer coefficients of a wet surface finned-tube evaporator of which in-situ performance test in necessary.
유산균 이용식품:미생물을 이용한 건강식품의 개발현황과 전망

현재 유산균은 요구르트, 치즈, 케피어(kefir), 에시도필러스 밀크(acidophilus milk), 비피더스 밀크(bifidus milk), 쿠미스(kumiss), 발효버터(fermented butter), 유산균음료, 빵 등 식품의 천연 방부제, 채소절임, 발효두유(fermented soy milk), 정장제, 구강염증치료제, 사료 첨가제 등등 다양하게 이용되고 있다. 이것은 유산균에 대한 동결건조, 유전자 조작 등 첨단기술이 산업화로 연결되면서 그 이용성이 더욱 확장되고 있다. 유산균을 이용한 건강보조식품도 최근 몇년 사이에 선을 보이고 있지만 아직은 초보적인 단계이며 현재로선 유산균 발효식품과 유산균제제(의약품) 사이에서 뚜렷한 자기자리를 찾지 못하고 있는 실정이다.

In this study, in-situ performance test of an air source heat pump which has a rated capacity of 10 RT is carried out. Since test conditions, such as indoor and outdoor air conditions cannot be controlled to satisfy the standard test conditions, experiments are done with the inlet air conditions as they exist. To estimate the performance for other conditions, the heat pump is modeled with a small number of selected parameters. The values of the parameters are determined from the few measurements measured on-site during normal operation. A simulation program is developed to calculate cooling capacity and power consumption at any other operating conditions. The simulation results are in good agreement with the experiment. This study provides a method of an on-site performance diagnosis of an air source heat pump.
Cloning of ada Gene of E. Coli K12 into E. Coli ada Mutants

E. coli ada 변종인 I-27을 MNNG-변이화 방법으로 분리하였다. 이 I-27 변종은 MNNG, MMS와 같은 간단한 알킬화 시약에 대해 증가된 민감성을 나타내었고 MNNG에 대한 적응반응을 유도하지 못하였다. 이 변종은 $O^6$-methylguanine methyltransferase와 3-methyladenine DNA glycosylase II 효소의 활성을 유도하지 못하였다. E. coli K12의 DNA를 제한효소 PstI으로 부분 가수분해한 뒤 pBR322 vector에 접합하여 ada 유전자를 cloning하였다. 재조합 plasmid인 pEMT1은 ada 변종인 I-27이 MNNG에 저항성을 나타내도록 하였으며, 또 유도되지 않은 상태에서도 methyltransferase의 활성을 나타내도록 하였다. pEMT1을 제한효소 Hind III로 가수분해하여 pBR322에 접합시킨 뒤 I-27에 넣어서 subcloning을 하였으며 이 때의 재조합 plasmid인 pEMT2는 Hind III 로 가수분해 한 pEMT1의 3.1 kb 크기의 DNA 조각을 포함하고 있었다. An Escherichia coli ada mutant, I-27, was isolated by N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG) treatment. This mutant showed increased sensitivity to simple alkylating agents such as MNNG and methyl-methanesulphonate (MMS) and was unable to induce the adaptive response to MNNG. The I-27 was defective in inducing activities of $O^6$-methylguanine methyltransferase and 3-methyladenine DNA glycosylase II. The $ada^+$ gene was cloned from wild type E. Coli K12 by ligating bacterial DNA partially digested with PstI into pBR322. The recombinant plasmid, obtained above, gave MNNG resistance to ada mutant, I-27, and resulted in the constitutive synthesis of methyltransferase. Further subcloning of pEMT1 was achieved by ligating a Hind III digest of pEMT1 into pBR322 and transforming it into the 1-27, an ada mutant. The resultant recombinant plasmid, pEMT2, contained a 3.1 kb Hind III fragment of the pEMT1 DNA.
산업폐수열원 이용 증기압축식/흡수식 하이브리드 히트펌프 시스템의 시뮬레이션

In this study, in order to utilize the waste heat of industrial wastewater in the range of the relatively low temperature of 40∼50℃ as a heat source, a hybrid heat pump system was considered by computer simulation method. In the simulation, an absorber, desorber and solution heat exchanger were modelled by UA values while a compressor and pump performance were specified by an isentropic efficiency. Simulation results show that the performance of hybrid heat pump can be up to 80% higher than that of conventional R134a heat pump when it makes a process hot water of 90℃ while the wastewater is cooled down to 20℃. As the absorber pressure increases, the system performance and desorber pressure increase with a favorable effect of a compressor discharge gas temperature drop.

본 연구는 bifidobacteria를 이용한 발효유제품 생산에 필요한 기초적인 배양기술과 배양조건을 얻기 위하여 Bifidobacterium bifidum HY-8108을 사용하여 우유에서의 B. bifidum의 성장과 발효실험을 수행하였으며 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 12% 환원 탈지유에 yeat extract와 BIOS 2000을 함께 첨가한 실험구가 가장 우수한 결과를 나타냈다. 2. 12% 환원 탈지유에 B. bifidum HY-8108와 L. acidophilus HY-7001을 혼합배양한 결과 생균수나 산생성속도가 B. bifidum을 단독배양한 결과보다 우수하게 나타나 이들 균주간에 symbiosis현상이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 3. B. bifidum HY-8108을 단독배양한 각 실험구의 24시간 배양액을 4℃에서 냉장보관하면서 12일까지 생균수, pH 및 적정산도를 측정한 결과 yeast extract와 BIOS 2000을 함께 첨가한 실험구가 대조구나 다른 실험구보다 사멸이 지연되었으며, pH나 적정산도는 거의 변화가 없었다. This study was carred out to establish techniques and conditions of cultivation of bifidobacteria in milk by using the Bifidobacterium bifidum HY-8108 for the manufacture of fermented milk products. The results obtained are summarized as follows; 1. 12% (wt/v) reconstituted skim milk was supplemented with yeast extract (1.25%, wt/v), BIOS 2000 (1.25%, wt/v) and yeast extract (0.25%, wt/v) + BIOS 2000 (1%, wt/v), respectively, to obtained enhanced growth of B. bifidum HY-8108. The mixed addition of yeast extract (0.25%) and BIOS 2000 (1%) to skim milk was most effective on the growth and acid production of B. bifidum HY-8108. 2. 1t was suggested that there be a symbiosis between B. bifidum HY-8108 and L. acidophilus HY-7001 resulted from their higher viable cell numbers and acid production. 3. The comparisons of viable cell numbers, pH and titratable acidity were examined during the storage at 4℃ for 12 days. The culture of B. bifidum HY-8108 cultivated with yeast extract (0.25%, wt/v) and BIOS 2000 (1%, wt/v) was stable in comparison with control and other treatments. And there was no post-acidification.
