So many springs in the rail road trains have been degeaded by the long time operation. Specially vibrations makes worse the condition of the springs. The performance evaluation technique for the rail road spring was developed. Using integrated handy tools using hydraulic systems, LVDT, and related software, On-line evaluation is possible to check the system integrity.

When the nuclear power plant reaches the end of their lives, the whole machineries inside the containment vessels, aux. building, fuel handling building should be dismantled. To dismantle the nuclear equipments, a remote controlled cutting robot is useful. In this paper, the current status of the dismantling robots and new cutting robot mechanism was proposed. The main purpose of this system is to penetrate into the internals of the metal component. The slider which is located between the front and rear bodies propels the cutting manipulator. Extendable base to adjust the height, Angle changer for body bending, multi leg for fixing the position of dismantling components have been developed to control motions of the robot.

The performance diagnostics regarding power plant piping - valve and hanger/support, detects and advises the plant manager how to inspect, correct conditions that could lead to piping systems failure, such as valve or hanger failure, to prevent the unplanned shutdowns and get the planned long time operation. To support in-plant technical managers in controlling routine inspection and repairs on plant piping systems, motor operated and air operated, hydro operted valve diagonic systems are introduced. For the hanger/support systems, hydro controlled performance technologies are introduced.

Various grill method and tools related with Grill Culture, one of main food culture of Korean are used widely. This study has the purpose that remove flame phenomenon that happen by grilling material. We manufactured Dual Grill in order to compensate for above defect, and studied about alternative relation that heat transmission of radiation, convection, conduction etc till heat from heat source reached to Dual Grill and material in experimentation came up to each one. Grill experiment used pork that is grill material that is popularized most and we made grill experiment with generally used Grill and Dual grill manufactured for experiment. In general Grill, experiment pork was proceeding with soot over progressing in time, and soot happened in a short time than general Grill by transferring conduction heat directly from Grill in case of experimenting without filing water in Dual grill's water pail. In case of experimenting o filling water pail and grill rae consisted of, by boiling-point of water controling naturally dual Grill's temperature by radiation, convection, conduction from heat source, unlike above two experiment soot doesn't occur to pork though time passes.

In situation that an environment changing of electric power business that is required about making sure that supply confidence of high quality electricity is guaranteed and the demage of power transmission (with a natural disaster make trouble about electric supply state), quick restoration make a important part about that it makes just a little demage in a country industry society and improve confidence of a people about electric company. This study got the self-build based emergency restoration towers that can be made transport by person without mobilization of heavy equipment and was increased in rapid assembling and removal with growing when it make trouble with demage of a transmission steel tower and transmission system. It is made that it's possible working in a deep mountain district and a seashore with suitability in ground of Korea.

For evaluate of contact area about spiral wall tube and constructed Scaffold for maintenance of Boiler inside. The recently, size of the general scaffold is 16m X 16m X 41m, and the weight of the' scaffold is 70 Ton for 500㎿ class thermal power plant boiler. The scaffold is give the force to spiral wall tube about 100 Ton.(add live load and dead load), and then It cause deformation of spiral wall tube. So this paper is study at course of a thing of this deformation, from structural analysis. And solve the stress of spiral wall tube in time of constructed scaffold, find out the relation between spiral wall tube and Scaffold.

Porcelain insulators have generally been used in Korea to insulate a transmission line from the tower, and a highly polymerized compound polymer insulator which has superior stain proof characteristics, has also been used widely. Currently, a worker rides on the suspension insulator string for installation on towers and conductors but in case of polymer insulators, this will pollute and scratch the housing result in durability reduction by deterioration and corona. This study developed a high strength aluminum compound metal ladder designed to work on polymer insulators without riding, and a clamp type connecting device and safety gear for easy installation on the tower and conductor. These polymer insulator work device can be used for 154㎸ and 345㎸ polymer insulators through a strength and load test to secure safety. This paper presents field usage.

The method of conductor wiring is that a messenger wire is installed, the end of the wire is connected to the conductor and a engine puller pulls the conductor. The length of one section of wiring is 3~5㎞ and one group messenger wire pulls simultaneously 2~4 group conductor, while a tensioner maintains wiring tension to prevent the deflection of the conductor. However, there are many obstacles such as roads, power lines, communication lines, buildings, farms and crops. Therefore to prevent damage from conductor deflection a staging is used. The currently used staging is scaffolding lumber which is difficult to secure and it's construction efficiency is very low because it requires a lot of time and manpower. So this study developed a insulating defense tube and pipe connecting device, and a truss structure fabrication module using steel pipe which reduces construction time and cost through a compressive and dielectric strength test.
