This paper presents a method for precisely localizing and parking of bimodal trams. In order to gain an automatically driving system for bimodal trams, precise up-to-date localization, velocity recognition, distance to next station and precise parking location estimation functions are required. This paper proposes a system consisting of control device, steering device, sensor input equipment, driving system, tachometer, vehicle-side sensors, magnetic markers and magnetic sensors. The tram recognizes the precise location via magnetic markers containing information. Parking position and precise distance calculation is embodied by a tachometer. The vehicle-side sensors are used to assure safe station approaching and parking magnetic markers provide improvement of precision while tram parking. This paper provides a system realizing localization and precise parking and afterwards the automatic drive test results are reported and analyzed.

This study focused on the fact that changes of policies have influence on housing culture of Korea and analyzed changes in apartment houses planning since the deregulation of the price ceiling through newspaper advertisement. The research compared and analyzed advertisements of apartment houses sales appeared in the 'Gwangju Il-Bo' daily newspaper from 1990 to 2003 by planning factors. : The results are as follows. Reliability and economy were important factors in deciding apartment before the deregulation of the price ceiling policy, but as apartment houses were merchandised after the deregulation of the price ceiling policy, brand of enterprise and image of apartment houses were highlighted more. In the environment of apartment complex, the concerns of location after the deregulation of the price ceiling policy were more increased than before its policy and it means emphasis on living environment for better life. The apartment housing unit and building showed change of the apartment housing unit plan considering residents, high quality of interior design and high-tech and differentiation of equipment since the deregulation of the price ceiling policy. The ground space has been parked or afforested and the underground space is used for parking lot as a part of environment-friendly in the apartment complex planning. The deregulation of the price ceiling policy made brand, image, high-grade and differentiation, and got many changes in the planning side of the apartment sales advertisement.

이 논문에서는 GARCH 모형에서 변환-역변환 방법을 통해 예측값을 추정할 때 발생하는 편향을 줄이기 위한 방법을 소개한다. 모수적 붓스트랩을 활용하여 본래 척도에서의 최소평균제곱오차 예측값인 조건부 기대값을 계산한다. KOSPI와 KOSDAQ 수익률 분석을 통해 제안한 방법이 편향을 줄여주는 것을 확인하였다. In this paper, we introduce the method that reduces the bias when the transformation and back-transformation approach is applied in GARCH models. A parametric bootstrap is employed to compute the conditional expectation which is the prediction value to minimize mean square errors in the original scale. Through the analyese of returns of KOSPI and KOSDAQ, we verified that the proposed method provides a bias-reduced estimation for the prediction value.

이 논문에서는 GARCH 모형에서 가정한 오차향의 분포에 근접하도록 자료를 변환하고 변환된 자료를 이용하여 모수와 예측구간을 구한 후 다시 역변환을 통해 원래의 척도에서의 VaR을 계산하는 방법에 대해 알아본다. KOSPI와 KOSDAQ 수익률을 이동시키며 VaR을 계산하고 이들 VaR의 포함확률을 계산하여 병목수준에 얼마나 근접하는지를 알아봄으로써 변환-역변환 방법과 변환을 적용하지 않는 방법의 결과를 비교해 본다. In this paper, we investigate the approach to estimate VaR under the transformed GARCH model. The time series are transformed to approximate to the underlying distribution of error terms and then the parameters and the one-sided prediction interval are estimated with the transformed data. The back-transformation is applied to compute the VaR in the original data scale. The analyses on the asset returns of KOSPI and KOSDAQ are presented to verify the accuracy of the coverage probabilities of the proposed VaR.

Purpose: To evaluate the clinical usefulness of the 10-prism-diopter (PD) fixation test in the diagnosis of amblyopia. Methods: The study comprised 132 children (42 normal, 90 amblyopes) who underwent the 10-PD fixation test and stereoacuity test. The sensitivity, specificity, false-positive and false-negative rates of the 10-PD fixation test were analyzed according to the clinical diagnosis. Results: The 10-PD fixation test sensitivity was 86%, the specificity was 61%, the false-positive rate was 17% and the false-negative rate was 24%. Data showed agreement between the 10-PD fixation test and the stereoacuity test (γ=0.737, p=0.000). The results in the 10-PD base-down test and base-out test also showed agreement (γ=0.779, p=0.000). Conclusions: The 10-PD fixation test is a simple and useful method in detecting amblyopia.
