탄소강의 Prior Austenite 결정립 크기와 탄소함량에 따른 초음파의 감쇄특성
박은수 서울産業大學校 1987 논문집 Vol.26 No.1
The experimental study has been carried out in order to investigate the effects of the prior austenite grain size and the carbon contents for the longitudinal ultrasonic attenuation in carbon steels with various carbon contents. The specimen was cooled from austenitizing temperature to form the mixture of ferritic and pearlitic structure. According to the results obtained in this experiments, the attenuation in the longitudinal ultrasonic waves was proportional to the prior austenite grain size and ultrasonic frequency. The ultrasonic attenuation was decreased with increasing the carbon contents, while it was inversely proportional to the hardness of specimen. Thus the mechanical properties of the materials can be predicted qualitatively by the nondestructive test using the ultrasonic attenuation characteristics.
