The purpose of this study is to suggest effective method to establish or improve existing public space design guidelines. Therefore, in this research, Boston and NewYork public space guidelines are analyzed based on 9 essential public space values. The result of the ananlyzation shows that; Accessibility is the most important factor to consider in public space and should be considered as an inclusive space creation. Second, public spaces should be environments where various activities can occur, and it’s plan should not be a burden to the ecological environment. Third, it should be designed considering regional characteristics. Finally, when establishing the guideline, plans for utilizing advanced technologies must be considered together with the physical space plan.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the elements of creating a maker space in universities operated for the purpose of spreading maker culture abroad on campus. The maker space components were derived through literature review, and elements of Georgia Institute of Technology"s Invention Studio and MIT’s MakerWorkshop cases were analyzed. The results of this study are as follows; First, students are discriminatory elements only in university maker spaces, and independent maker space operation by students is expected to be effective in developing students" expertise in equipment management and spreading maker culture in universities. Second, it is considered necessary to consider the program along with the creation of a maker space. It is judged that there is a need for an opportunity to go beyond training equipment and to support programs for exchanges between users and solve practical problems through connection with external institutions.

Tunnel junctions with AI-N barriers fabricated by microwave-excited plasma were studied. When the Al thickness, nitridation time, and annealing temperature were 1 nm (0.8 nm), 50 s (35 s), and $280^{\circ}C$ ($300^{\circ}C$), TMR ratio and resistance-area product (RA) were 49% (34%) and $3 ${\times}$ 10^4$ $\Omega$$\mu\m^2$ ($1.5 ${\times}$ 10^4$ $\Omega$$\mu\m^2$), respectively. In order to clarify the annealing temperature dependence of TMR ratio, the local transport properties were measured for Ta 5 nm/Cu 20 nm/Ta 5 nm$29_{76}$ $Fe_{24}$ 2 nm/Cu 5 nm/M $n_{75}$$Ir_{25}$ 10 nm/ $Co_{71}$ $Co_{29}$ 4nm/Al-N junction with Al thickness of 0.8 nm and nitridation time of 35s at various temperatures. The increase of TMR ratio after annealing at $300^{\circ}C$, where the TMR ratio of the corresponding MTJ had the maximum value of 34%, can be well explained by the enhancement of the average barrier height ($\Phi_{ave}$) and the reduction of its fluctuation. After further annealing at $340^{\circ}C$, the leakage current was observed and the TMR ratio decreaseded

Ferromagnetic tunnel junctions, Ta/Cu/Ta/NiFe/Cu/$Mn_{75}$ $Ir_{25}$ $Co_{70}$ $Fe_{30}$/Al-oxide, were fabricated by do magnetron sputtering and plasma oxidation process. The effect of annealing temperature on the local transport properties of the ferromagnetic tunnel junctions was studied using contact-mode Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). The current images reflected the distribution of the barrier height determined by local I-V analysis. The contrast of the current image became more homogeneous and smooth after annealing at $280^{\circ}C$. And the average barrier height $\phi_{ave}$ increased and its standard deviation $\sigma_{\phi}$ X decreased. For the cases of the annealing temperature more than $300^{\circ}C$, the contrast of the current image became large again. And the average barrier height $\phi_{ave}$ decreased and its standard deviation $\sigma_{\phi}$ increased. Also, the current histogram had a long tail in the high current region and became asymmetric. This result means the generation of the leakage current that is resulted from the local generation of a low barrier height region. In order to obtain the high tunnel magnetoresistance(TMR) ratio, the increase of the average barrier height and the decrease of the barrier height fluctuation must be strictly controlled.led.

The purpose of this study was to identify planning strategy to enhance community engagement of start-up housing and therefore, provide guideline for upcoming start-up housing development. Hence, this report analyses key factors that improved community engagement based on start-up housing case study in Seoul, New York, and Paris. The results of this study were as follows. First, Physical and Non-Physical element must be interoperative and interrelated. Second, space for unplanned collaboration and engagement should be provided. Third, special activities must be provided to create or improve community network. Finally, consideration needs to be given to elements of a customized community revitalization plan that allow residents with similar interests and purposes to form a close community.
교통수단의 발전에 따른 아파트 단지 계획요소 변화 연구

The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of physical environment of apartment complexes in the metropolitan area in response to development of transportations in the mid-to-late 20th century. The analysis sites are Jamsil Apartment Complex(1974), Dunchon Apartment Complex(1979), Mok-dong New Town(1983), Sanggye New Town(1985), Bundang Newtown(1990) and Ilsan Newtown(1990), which were planned at the turning point of development of transportation and actively reflect the neighborhood unit theory. The analysis was conducted in three stages. Analyzing the status of transportation when the plan was established, deriving the planning elements, and classifying the planning elements into walking, bus, car, and subway which is the representative transportation. The conclusions from the analysis are as follows. First, completing the legal system and expanding the related infrastructure are essential. Second, in contrast to the increase in traffic volume, the pedestrian environment has been continuously improved. Third, despite the emergence of new mode of transportation, there was a tendency to activate the linkage between transportation.
나노 결정립 Fe - Al - O 산화막의 미세구조 변화에 따른 연자기적 특성 분석

We investigated the soft magnetic properties of nanocrystalline Fe-Al-O film as etching the oxide film with ion beam etching method. It is thought that the grain size of Fe-Al-O film increases as the thickness decreases. The coercivity and squareness increase with decreasing thickness. The surface curvature of AFM images increases when the etching experiment proceeds. This phenomena could be due to the grain growth which occurs during sputtering. This grain growth could be assisted by the the plasma energy during sputtering. Therefore proper thickness should be searched to acquire the good soft magnetic properties for the nanocrystalline film material. Good soft magnetic properties of Fe-Al-O film was acquired at the thickness of more than 900 ㎚.

Fungi are well suited for studying mechanism controlling development and cell differentiation in multicellular eukaryotes. The asexual and sexual reproductive cycles are tightly coordinated during the life cycle of Aspergillus nidulans. The asexual (mitotic) reproductive cycle involves the formation of a number of differentiated cell types. Successful formation of multicellular reproductive structures and spores (conidia) requires the establishment of spatiotemporal gradients in essential transcriptional regulators, such as brlA, abaA and wetA. Altered gene expression is coordinated with critical changes in the movement of nuclei and the regulation of the cell division cycle. Therefore, it has been proposed to define a central regulatory pathway. Several early regulatory genes involved in signal transduction pathway controlling asexual sporulation are also required for activating the central pathway. Sexual (meiotic) reproduction is more complex, requiring the differentiation of several specialized tissue types. Although technical difficulties have limited efforts to study the genetics of sexual fruiting-body formation directly, some recent progress has been made. With the recent availability of mutants blocked in sexual development, understanding the genetic interactions between genes that function primarily in determining sexual sporulation will be achieved in the near future.
