12주간 카바디운동이 비만 남자대학생의 신체구성, 행동체력 및 혈중지질에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of a 12-week Kabaddi exercise to body composition, physical fitness, blood lipid in obese male college students. During the experiment 15 men were selected and tested. The subjects were randomly assigned to a control(n=8) or a strength(n=7) group. After 12 weeks, there were significant decreases in the body weight(p<.001), body water(p<.05), body fat(p<.01) and BMI(p<.05), while there were significant increases in the muscle mass(p<.01), fat-free mass(p<.05) in the strength group. In the change of muscular strength(p<.001), agility(p<.05) and reflex(p<.01) increased significantly. A significant increase of HDL-C(p<.05) was observed whereas LDL-C(p<.05) and triglyceride(p<.05) decreased significantly in the change of blood lipid. Based on the results from the experiment, the participants of Kabaddi exercise program improved their body composition, blood lipid and physical fitness positively. It is expected to enhance the physical strength of obese people by lowering their body fat, triglycerides and LDL-C which are the main cuase of subcutaneous fat. It also prevents obesity by increasing HDL-C which removes cholesterol in the vascular wall in the body. Therefore not just obesity but Kabaddi exercise program also prevents cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.

This study aims to find out the effects of swimming program on elementary school students’ body composition(body weight, body fat and BMI) and health physical fitness(cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility). The study was performed on 88 elementary school students in 3 different groups – 29 in music jump rope (male 15, female 14), 29 in swimming (male 16, female 13), and 30 in non-motion(male 15, female 15). The results were the followings: 12-week of swimming program had significantly reduced body weight(p<.05), body fat(p<.001), and BMI(p<.001). Therefore it had positive effects on body composition. Furthermore, swimming appeared to be more effective than music jump rope. From the results, there was a general improvement in physical fitness factor and body composition by swimming and music jump rope. It is thought to be due to constant contractions and relaxations of the muscles through regular exercises, which enhanced burning off fats and muscular strength; positive effects on physical ability. It is necessary to have exercise habits to maintain the health, but also to improve life habits including taking enough nutrient.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of aquarobics exercise on the range of joint motion of the human body, which is closely related to the basic ability of the elderly, health fitness, and the risk of a fall accident. To this end, a 16-week aqua aerobics exercise program was conducted for a total of 31 men aged 65 and over, 14 men and 17 women, and the following conclusions were obtained. First, in the case of body composition, weight(p<.001) and body fat percentage(p<.05) were decreased in both male and female elderly, and BMI(p<.05) was also decreased in female elderly. Second, in the case of physical strength, both male and female elderly had muscle strength(p<.001), muscular endurance(p<.01, p<.05), flexibility(p<.001), cardiorespiratory endurance(p<.001), and equilibrium(p<.001) were found to increase. Third, in the case of range of joint motion, both male and female elderly showed improved range of joint motion such as shoulder mobility(p<.001), neck mobility(p<.01, p<.001), and waist mobility(p<.001) appear. In conclusion, 16 weeks of aquarobics exercise is considered to be an effective exercise for improving body composition, improving physical strength, and improving range of joint motion in male and female elderly. It is thought that long-term regular exercise will help prevent obesity in the elderly and improve physical function by minimizing the risk of falls.
남자대학생의 카바디 운동이 대사호르몬 및 면역기능에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of a Kabaddi exercise to metabolic hormone and immune function in male college students. During the experiment 14 men were selected and tested. The subjects were randomly assigned to a control (CON: n=7) or a raining group (TR: n=7) group. A total of 2 blood samples were collected before and after 12 weeks of exercise. First, insulin was significantly decreased while glucagon was increased but did not show any significant change in the strength group. On the other hand, insulin was increased and glucagon was decreased, indicating no significant change in the control group. Second, there were significant increases in the neutrophils and lymphocytes, while there was increases in the monocyte counts but not significant change. On the other hand, neutrophils and lymphocytes were increased, while monocyte counts was decreased but did not show any significant changes in the control group. Third, immunity globulin was significantly increased in IgA, while it was increased in IgG and IgM but not significant. On the other hand, there were increases in IgA, IgG and IgM but not significant changes in the control group. Based on the results from the experiment, the Kabaddi exercise program resulted in a decrease in insulin and an increase in neutrophils and lymphocytes. It is expected to enhance the control of blood sugar, speed of muscle recovery and increase of immunity. It also improved metabolism hormone and immune function.

This study aims to find out the effect of swimming program on elementary school bodies’ body composition(weight, %body fat and BMI) and health physical fitness(Cardiovascular endurance, Muscular strength, Muscular endurance, Flexibility) for 12 weeks. The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of 12-week new sports training and music rope jump on the body composition and the physical fitness of elementary students. In this study, 27 students(new sports 14 and music rope jump group 13) were the 3rd grade elementary students in order to examine their body composition(weight, percent body fat, BMI) and physical fitness(cardiorespiratory, muscular strength, muscular endurance and flexibility). The findings of this study were as follows; First, in the body composition, percent body fat significantly decreased in new sports training and music rope jump group. Second, in the physical fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance and flexibility were significantly increased in new sports training and music rope jump group. The present study indicates that the new sports and music rope jump may improve in physical fitness for elementary students. In addition, new sports training could prevent obesity in elementary students.
