        학문 목적 한국어교육의 연구 유형 분류와 연구 방법의 동향 분석

Journal of Korean Language Education 28-1: 79-111. This study is a trend analysis study that discusses the current status and directions of research methods of KAP research. The existing trend ana lysis studies dealing with research methods have problems in that the classification criteria of the studies used are rough and different from each other, rendering comparison between studies being difficult, and do not comprehensively cover research methods of diversified KAP research. Therefore, this study examined the research methods of KAP research from a critical point of view and suggested a set of classification criteria and an analysis framework that can be used consistently in classification and analysis of future KAP research methods. Based on the theoretical background of second language studies and applied linguistics, this study revised and supplemented Brown (2015)’s research method types and selected 289 journals and theses/dissertations from 2012 to 2016 and classified them into a new analysis framework. The primary and secondary studies, which are the major categories, were 219 and 70, respectively, so it was confirmed that there were much more primary studies. The primary studies then were subdivided into 128 qualitative research studies, 142 survey research studies, and 23 quantitative research studies, pointing to the trend that survey and qualitative research methods were preferred. In the qualitative research approaches, there were 21 action research studies, which were used the most. In addition, such qualitative research approaches as case studies and narrative inquiries which were difficult to find in the past, have gradually increased, confirming that the diversification of research methods is becoming common. However, there were still many studies that did not explicitly put forward research questions and there were many studies that did not report reliability and effect sizes in quantitative research. Of the 23 quantitative studies, only 50% reported reliability, and only three reported effect sizes. In order to enable systematic reviews (meta-analysis) of quantitative research and expect quality improvement of research in future KAP research, reporting of quantitative research should be done more systematically. This study is meaningful in that a systematic and detailed analysis framework was proposed to classify various research methods in the future and that the problems and directions for improvement of the KAP research methods were discussed through the analysis of the research trend of the KAP studies for the last 5 years.         Highly sensitive copper nanowire conductive electrode for nonenzymatic glucose detection

        Commercial diabetes test strips, patterned with a carbon paste, has poor durability and preservability because of using enzyme. Furthermore, carbon paste needs sintering process to get proper conductivity. Therefore, alternative conductive ink and sensing materials are the research theme under consideration lately. Therefore, we demonstrated constructing copper nanowire paste glucose sensor strip (CuNW_GSS) platform to diagnose diabetes nonenzymatically. Copper nanowires (CuNWs) were fabricated by a simple hydrothermal method with a capping agent to preserve the CuNWs from oxidation. Moreover, the CuNW paste could be easily utilized without sintering, and this fabricated paste successfully substituted for the commercial carbon paste pattern due to its high conductivity. CuNWs were used as not only the composition of conductive copper paste but also the sensing material for detecting glucose, which grants high charge transport ability to the glucose sensor, leading to high sensing ability. The limit of detection (LOD) of the CuNW_GSS was 1 nM, which is 40 times higher sensitivity than those of other glucose sensors and the CuNW_GSS also exhibited excellent selectivity. The excellent sensitivity and selectivity clearly indicate the great potential of the CuNW_GSS in diagnosing diabetes easily.

        한국어 교사의 상호문화 인식 조사 연구

This study aims to suggest the incorporation of ideas of intercultural education into the restructuring of Korean language and culture education. As groundwork for the development of an intercultural education curriculum, a group of Korean language teachers were surveyed to find out their level of intercultural awareness. The results were as follows. Overall the teachers’ level of intercultural awareness was quite high (N = 183, M = 3.8, SD = .47). (1) Teacher-related variables such as the amount of teaching experience was significantly related to teachers’ awareness of in-class cultural conflict with students (F = 2.73, p = .03, η2 = .06) and their level of understanding of intercultural education (F = 2.90, p =. 023, η2 = .06). (2) According to the variable of the type of institution teachers work in, university-affiliated Korean language teachers showed a higher level of understanding of intercultural education (F = 4.34, p = .006, η2 = .07), which can be interpreted as teachers working in multicultural centers exhibited a more conservative stance toward intercultural education, whereas teachers working in multicultural centers showed a more positive attitude toward Korean language textbooks (F = 6.43, p < .0005, η2 = .10). (3) According to the variable of prior teaching experience in multicultural centers, teachers with such experience experienced in-class cultural conflict more (F = 4.21, p = .006, η2 = .02) and showed a more positive attitude toward Korean language textbooks (F = 8.00, p =. 002, η2 = .04), but showed a lower level of understanding of intercultural education (F = 7.84, p = .005, η2 = .04) than university-affiliated Korean language teachers. (4) Whether or not having received training in multi-cultural or intercultural education was significantly related to teachers’ level of understanding of intercultural education (F = 6.56, p = .011, η2 = .04) and their experience of in-class cultural conflict (F = 7.57, p = .007, η2 = .04). The limitations of the study were stated and the implications for intercultural sensitivity in Korean language and culture education were suggested. (Ewha Womans University)

        목조문화재 보존을 위한 유지류 코팅제의 방수 성능 평가

        목조문화재는 수분의 영향으로 열화의 가속화가 진행되기 때문에 전통적으로 표면을 수분으로부터 차단하기 위해 들기름 및 동유와 같은 유지류를 도포하였다. 그러나 목조문화재에 적합한 유지류 코팅 방법 및 성능에 대한 체계적인 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 천연 유지류 3종과 오일스테인 2종의 목재의 방향별, 공시재의 시간 경과 및 유지류의 중탕 여부에 따른 방수 성능을 평가하여 현장 적용 가능성을 판단하였다. 건전 목재의 섬유방향에서 상온의 천연유지류 코팅제 방수성능은 대조군과 비교하여 약 79.2%를 차단하였으며, 특히 동유는 90.5%의 수분을 차단할 정도로 우수한 성능을 나타냈다. 2년간 실내에서 컨디셔닝을 실시한 경우 유지류의 방수 성능은 약 8.8% 감소하였다. 유지류를 중탕하여 사용할 경우 약 5.0%의 방수 성능이 향상되며, 특히 아마인유는 중탕하여 사용할 경우 약 9.6%의 방수 성능을 개선할 수 있다. Surface of the wooden cultural heritage has been protected from moisture by natural oils (such as perilla oil and tung oil), which accelerated degradation. But we can find seldom the research on the processes and performances of oil coatings. In this study, the water resistant performances by wood direction were compared to 3 types of natural oil and 2 types of oil stain, and the effect of additional indoor conditioning and temperature of oil were appraised in longitudinal direction. The natural oils block moisture about 79.2% comparing to the control in longitudinal direction. Especially the tung oil showed the outstanding water resistance about 90.5%. The water resistant performances decreased about 8.8% by additional indoor conditioning for 2 years. Heated oil improved the water resistance about average 5.0%.(Max. 9.6% with linseed oil).
