In order to develop welding materials of Cr-Mo steel plate with excellent weldability, several welding materials with different chemistry have been manufactured and evaluated their mechanical properties and weldability. SMAW and FCAW welding materials were tested for A387 Cr-Mo steel. Mechanical properties of the developed welding materials were revealed equivalent that of the other welding materials. All weld metal properties was higher than that of weldment because of the dilution between welding materials and base metals. SMAW and FCAW welding materials were developed for A387 Cr-Mo steel.

Thanks to support from international organizations and developed nations, the service coverage of portable water has been gradually expanding in Cambodia. Nevertheless, Cambodia is experiencing difficulties in regards to urban solid waste, especially plastic waste management. 10 million plastic bags are used daily in Phnom Penh. City dwellers use more than 2,000 plastic bags every year. The produced wastes are thrown away on the streets and open spaces or dumped at insanitary landfills. The littered plastic wastes in the city not only induce environmental damages during its dumping and burning, but also exacerbate flood damages by clogging waterways and drainpipes. Thus, recycling for producing goods that are used in everyday life will reduce environmental pollution and bring about much social and economic benefit. This research study intends to share Korea s experience and technology in establishing a foundation that can introduce separate collection and recycling of plastic waste in Cambodia.
