Measuring thickness of resin using a machine vision system and image processing is presented in this research. A machine vsion System is one of the essential parts in order to inspect nano/micro patterns transferred by nanoimprint. Thickness of cured resin is determined from the relative distance between substrate and mold. For the measuring thickness, A machine vision system and image processing are used. A machine vision system which takes a focus on substrate and patten find out relative distance. Also it was possible for measured data to make more precise by image processing.

Nodular fasciitis is rare and benign fibroblastic proliferative disease which tends to be confused microscopically with spindle cell sarcoma. It is a distinctive lesion and a very important one because of its ability to simulate a malignant process. Histopathologically, nodular fasciitis can be grouped into three subtypes based on their relation with the fascia: subcutaneous, fascial, intramuscular. We report a case of nodular fasciitis misdiagnosed as Baker`s cyst in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis.

In this paper, the topology optimization of spot-weld layout design is performed for improving side impact performance. First, we conduct linear static analysis and nonlinear analysis about simple model to verify the process. Then the topology optimization is performed to find optimal spot-weld layouts. In this study, The volume fractions of spot-weld are used as design constraints, and the densities of each element in the individual design space are used as design variables. The objective function is to minimize the deformation of B-pillar. To confirm the improvement of side impact performance, optimal result of spot-weld layout design is applied in the car body and the side impact analysis is conducted. From the result of the analysis, we confirm the improvement of side impact performance. Finally, we obtained optimized spot-weld layout model.

It is very important that the mold and target panel are aligned in nano-imprint lithography. While the resin is cured, the difference of resin-thickness occurs in each part of the target panel. It causes deformation of a mold and misalignment. In this study, resin characteristic is analyzed. The polymer resin is cured by ultra-violet light and is tested by DSC and Photo-DSC. Second, the deformation of a mold and the stress are measured during cure process because they have bad influence upon alignment. Finally, it is proved that thickness of resin is related the deformation of mold and stress.
