In these days, importance of HVAC system in office building is steadily growing in terms of thermal comfort and energy savings. As a energy efficient heating and cooling system, system air-conditioner which can be controlled distinctly and has a high COP is more widely adopted nowadays. However, the features and advantages of system air-conditioner were not reported well because system air-conditioner did not describe yet by conventional simulation methods such as TRNSYS, e-Quest, Energyplus, etc. In this study, by using the TRNSYS program which is able to show module implementation and building energy consumption analysis, system air-conditioner module will be proposed and validated through comparison between the simulation results and measurement results.

However, the features and advantage of VRF system were not reported well because VRF system did not describe yet by conventional simulation methods such as TRNSYS, e-Quest, Energyplus, etc. In this study, by using the TRNSYS program which is able to show module implementation and building energy consumption analysis, VRF system module will be proposed and verified through analyzing and comparing between the simulation results and measurement results.

최근에는 자연재해 및 무단투기 등으로 인해서 해양으로 많은 양의 폐기물이 유입되고 있으며 그 영향으로 해양생태계가 파괴되고 미관이 훼손되는 등 해양환경이 오염되고 있다. 해양에 존재하는 폐기물 수거를 위해 여러 방법을 사용하고 있는데, 주로 수거되는 폐기물의 형태는 부유물이다. 부유물을 수거하기 위해 주로 그물을 사용하며 최근에는 선박으로 수거를 실시하고 있다. 하지만, 선박 수거에 있어서 인력 및 기술 부족으로 많은 어려움이 발생하고 있다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서 부유물 수거용 수상로봇이 개발되었다. 개발된 로봇의 성능 검증을 위해서 Surge, Yaw, 부유물수거 등의 시험평가가 수행되었다. 시험평가 결과는 실제 적용 가능성 및 추가적인 연구의 필요성을 보여준다. Recently, many waste is getting into the ocean because of natural disasters and trash of illegality. These destroy the marine ecosystem and the great views around the ocean. Many methods are used for the removal of the waste in the ocean and one of the main waste forms is floating debris. In order to remove the waste, the nets are mostly used and the ships are recently used. However, many problems are occurred due to low number of people and techniques in the ship-based removal. To solve this problem, a surface robot for floating debris removal is developed. To verify the performance of the developed robot, tests of surge, yaw, and floating debris removal are executed. The test results show the possibility of real applications and the need for additional studies.
공조와 조명 및 블라인드 통합제어시스템의 실내 온열환경제어 특성 및 에너지 성능 분석

As a energy saving system, the integrated system composed of lighting, cooling and blind control system in a office was suggested in this study. In this paper, the energy saving performance and indoor thermal environment characteristics were analyzed through field measurement. The results shows that using the integrated system and its control logic, total energy was decreased as about 80% than that of conventional system.
도심지 풍환경 예측을 위한 CFD 시뮬레이션에서 풍속 프로파일 설정의 타당성 검토

Recently, drastic urbanization is making building forest in urban area. This phenomenon cause various problems such as Heat Island, pollutant stagnation and gust. Especially, deformed wind by buildings makes severe problems in wind environment. To solve this problem, wind tunnel test and CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation are used. CFD simulation methods are widely used because of its convenience for time and cost. To properly predict the wind environment in urban area with CFD, the boundary condition for simulation should be set in correct. Especially, the inlet wind profile has a great influence on the results. The aims of this paper is to discuss the influence of inlet wind profile on wind environment of multi-residential building block in urban area. The field measurement and CFD simulation were accomplished and the results were analyzed in this paper. Even though the value of 0.33 for exponent(?) is often used in wind profile in urban area, an exponent 0.22, 0.15 is more appropriate from the results of this study.
고온다습한 지역에서 시스템 에어컨 적용에 따른 재실자의 온열 쾌적감 분석

Energy Saving has become the most important issue from all over the world. Also, government encourages the use of system air-conditioner which is able to secure the thermal comfort of occupant and effectively control the thermal environment in office building. Moreover, due to the convenience of the usage and high C.O.P., the demand for system air-conditioner are highly increased in the world. However, many paper reported that the thermal comfort of residence under hot and humid climate slightly differed from the people in mild climate. In this study, indoor thermal environment and thermal comfort of occupant where the temperature is controlled by system air-conditioner were analyzed by field measurement under hot and humid climate. In this paper, the characteristics of the thermal comfort and preference of the people in an office controlled by system air-conditioner will be reported.

Since building industry accounts for about 23% of energy consumption in Korea, it is essential to take consideration of energy-efficient building. Furthermore, according to the large proportion of the HVAC system in building, efficient A/C system will be needed. In this study, by using the TRNSYS program which is able to show module implementation and building energy consumption analysis, simulation module of the System A/C system for heating mode will be developed and the feasibility of the developed simulation module was verified by comparison study between simulation and measured result.

With the increase of energy saving for HVAC in building, the use of VRF system increases gradually. Because VRF system has a potential to improve the thermal comfort and energy saving effect for the characteristics of individual control. While the conventional control logic of VRF system, set-point temperature control, can not present the advantage of VRF system well. In this paper, as a novel control logic of VRF system, the comfort control logic will be proposed. Also, the thermal comfort and energy saving effect of VRF system with the comfort control logic will be analyzed by TRNSYS simulation.
센서네트워크 기반의 수중, 수상 및 공중 로봇의 협력제어 기법

Recently, the needs for the development and application of marine robots are increasing as marine accidents occur frequently. However, it is very difficult to acquire the information by utilizing marine robots in the marine environment. Therefore, the needs for the researches of sensor networks which are composed of underwater, surface and aerial robots are increasing in order to acquire the information effectively as the information from heterogeneous robots has less limitation in terms of coverage and connectivity. Although various researches of the sensor network which is based on marine robots have been executed, all of the underwater, surface and aerial robots have not yet been considered in the sensor network. To solve this problem, a collaborative control method based on the acoustic information and image by the sonars of the underwater robot, the acoustic information by the sonar of the surface robot and the optical image by the camera of the static-floating aerial robot is proposed. To verify the performance of the proposed method, the collaborative control of a MUR(Micro Underwater Robot) with an OAS(Obstacle Avoidance Sonar) and a SSS(Side Scan Sonar), a MSR(Micro Surface Robot) with an OAS and a BMAR(Balloon-based Micro Aerial Robot) with a camera are executed. The test results show the possibility of real applications and the need for additional studies.
음향정보 및 광학영상 기반의 수상 및 공중 드론의 협력적 장애물회피 기법

Recently, the researches of aerial drones are actively executed in various areas, the researches of surface drones and underwater drones are also executed in marine areas. In case of surface drones, they essentially utilize acoustic information by the sonar and consequently have the local information in the obstacle avoidance as the sonar has the limitations due to the beam width and detection range. In order to overcome this, more global method that utilizes optical images by the camera is required. Related to this, the aerial drone with the camera is desirable as the obstacle detection of the surface drone with the camera is impossible in case of the existence of clutters. However, the dynamic-floating aerial drone is not desirable for the long-term operation as its power consumption is high. To solve this problem, a collaborative obstacle avoidance method based on the acoustic information by the sonar of the surface drone and the optical image by the camera of the static-floating aerial drone is proposed. To verify the performance of the proposed method, the collaborative obstacle avoidances of a MSD(Micro Surface Drone) with an OAS(Obstacle Avoidance Sonar) and a BMAD(Balloon-based Micro Aerial Drone) with a camera are executed. The test results show the possibility of real applications and the need for additional studies.
