A systematic numerical method for analyzing a 3D moving vacuum arc was proposed and tested in this research by using a transverse magnetic field (TMF) contact. The analysis was carried out by employing the finite element method and the experimental energy equation defined by Gundlach’s formula. In the literature, the vacuum interrupter has been widely applied to medium-voltage switching circuits. TMF-type contacts use the Lorentz force density to move a high-temperature arc so as to prevent the contacts from being melted and damaged. The material erosion caused by the arc on the electrode’s surface is an important process that results in the interruptive capabilities of these vacuum interrupters. In a classical arc model, to move the vacuum arc, it is required that the magneto-hydrodynamics be analyzed in the arc region at each step. However, with this approach convergence is difficult, resulting in a very time-consuming. Therefore, we propose a new technique to predict the behaviors of vacuum arc between two electrodes. This new approach adopts the experimental arc voltage equation between two electrodes defined by Gundlach’s formula. We verify our proposed model by comparing its results with the arcing behaviors obtained from earlier experiments.

The Bluetooth Low Energy profile has the advantage of continuing wireless communication with very little power consumption compared to the existing Bluetooth, so it is widely applied to smart devices. Most of them are applied to Point-to-Point (1:1) communication between Central (Master) and Peripheral (Slave), but can be applied to Point-to-Multiple (1:N) wireless communication through the use of multiple threads and timers. Therefore, in this paper, a precise timer was designed in the BLE profile to devise an image segmentation transmission/reception structure based on multiple access, and a smart image block device applied to it was designed and verified.

본 연구는 Laban이 제시한 모션 분석 기법을 이용하여 모션의 긴장도를 측정하는 방법을 제안한다. 이러한 긴장도값을 이용하면 캐릭터 모션과 배경음악간의 자동적 동기화를 위한 기준값으로 사용할 수 있다. Laban의 모션 분석 기법, 즉 LMA는 모션을 Effort라고 명명된 4개의 시공간적 요소로 나누고 각 4개의 Effort마다 2가지 상반된 기준을 제시함으로써 모션을 분석하도록 하였다. 이러한 기준을 양적으로 측정하기 위해 우리는 운동학, 역학에 기초한 수식을 제안하고 이를 통해서 계산된 실제 긴장도 값을 실험데이타에 근거하여 조정하였다. 실험을 통해 제안한 긴장도 측정 결과는 어느 정도 사람의 반응과 비슷한 정도의 순위 판별 능력을 보였다. In this paper, we propose the method to measure tensions of character motions, using LMA (Laban Movement Analysis). Using tension values, we can take advantage of them as a standard for synchronization synchronization of motion and BGM(Back Ground Music). In LMA, a motion is divided into 4 space-time factors which are called Efforts, and each Effort has two bases opposed to each other. We can analyze the motion by justifying which basis is stronger than the other in each Effort of motion. To measure quantitatively tension values, we propose some equations based on kinematics and dynamics. Then we can measure the tension value by the weighted sum of values calculated from those equations. Each weight can be determined by the optimization process which tries to minimize the difference between the calculated tension value and human's decision. The experimental result shows that the increasing order of the motion tension value is similar to that of the tension score given by human.
크리깅 메타모델과 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 초고압 가스차단기의 형상 최적 설계

We describe a new method for selecting design variables for shape optimization of high-voltage gas circuit breaker using a Kriging meta-model and a genetic algorithm. Firstly we sample balance design variables using the Latin Hypercube Sampling. Secondly, we build meta-model using the Kriging. Thirdly, we search the optimal design variables using a genetic algorithm. To obtain the more exact design variable, we adopt the boundary shifting method. With the proposed optimization frame, we can get the improved interruption design and reduce the design time by 80%. We applied the proposed method to the optimization of multivariate optimization problems as well as shape optimization of a high - voltage gas circuit breaker.

The activation of sphalerite with electrolytically generated copper ion from a copper electrode instead of the usual practice of the addition of copper sulphate was studied in the laboratory. A large surface area of copper was provided by lining four sides of a flotation cell with copper sheeting. The lining was connected to the positive terminal of a 12V d.c. battery and the pulp recirculation well to the negative terminal. Sphalerite was effectively activated by this arrangement. Since the quantity of copper used in electrolytic generation was only about 79g/ton when compared with about 204g/ton in the case of copper sulphate, it established that considerable economy can be effected by replacing the use of copper sulphate by electrolytically generated copper ions. Inspite of the high anodic and cathodic current density (Dд was 100-300 A/㎡, Dк was 1000-5000 A/㎡), the electrolytically generated copper ions were not precipitated on the cathode surface.
