전방머리자세를 가진 목통증 환자의 맞춤형 요가 운동 프로그램이 자세와 배근력, 유연성에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 요가 운동 프로그램이 적용하여 전방머리자세와 배근력, 유연성에 미치는 영향을 검증하는데 있다. 연구 대상은 만성 목통증을 가진 20명의 환자가 참여하였으며, 운동군(n=10)과 통제군(n=10)으로 무선 배정하 였다. 본 운동 프로그램은 이전 연구에서 진행된 요가 동작을 본 연구의 특성에 맞게 재구성하였으며, 8주간, 주 3회, 1회 운동 시간은 총 60분간 진행하였다. 연구결과는 전방머리자세에서 머리 위치각, 어깨 위치각이 처치 전에 비해 처치 후 운동군에서 유의한 변화가 나타났으며(p<.001), 배근력, 그리고 유연성에서도 처치 전에 비해 처치 후 운동군에서 유의 한 변화가 나타났다(p<.001). 이러한 결과는 요가 운동 프로그램 참여가 만성 목통증 환자에게 머리 위치각, 어깨 위치각, 배근력, 그리고 유연성 향상에 유익한 중재 방법이라는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of yoga exercise program on forward head posture and back strength, flexibility. Twenty-patients with chronic neck pain with forward head posture participated in this study and were randomly assigned to the exercise group(n=10) and the control group(n=10). The yoga exercise program consists of various types of yoga exercise. The exercise group performed the yoga exercise modified from the previous studies with three times a week for 8 weeks. In results, there was a significant difference in forward head angle(p<.001), forward shoulder angle(p<.001), back strength(p<.001), and flexibility(p<.001) after exercise intervention. Our result suggests that yoga exercise is a beneficial intervention to improve forward head posture and back strength, flexibility in patients with chronic neck pain.
Dermatitis Associated with Treponematosis in Pet Rabbits

Treponematosis, called rabbit syphilis, is an infectious disease caused by Treponema cuniculi in rabbits. In this case report, five rabbits were presented with severe crusts in lips, genitalia and nose. Skin scrapings and fungal test were negative. Human syphilis antibody test was positive. The rabbits were treated with penicillin and chloramphenicol for 3 weeks and the crusts were significantly decreased from 5 to 7 days after treatment. No crusts were evident in the rabbits 3 weeks after treatment. These rabbits were cases of treponematosis which showed a favorable therapeutic response by penicillin and chloramphenicol.
Oral endotracheal intubation in pediatric anesthesia

Pediatric airway management has been both an integral part of routine anesthesia practice and one of its greatest challenges. Traditionally, it has been thought that the pediatric larynx is funnel-shaped, with the narrowest portion being situated at the cricoid cartilage; the choice of endotracheal tube type, size and insertion depth has been based on this concept. Uncuffed endotracheal tubes have typically been advocated for children younger than 8 years. However, it has recently been determined that the pediatric larynx is conical-shaped, with the narrowest portion of the larynx being situated at the rima glottidis. Therefore, there has been a shift in pediatric airway management, and cuffed tubes have been used without significant differences in post-extubation complication rates. It is critical to use the appropriate type and size of endotracheal tube, as well as to ensure proper insertion depth and adequate visualization of airway structures. Here, we introduce and discuss the optimal type, size, and insertion depth of endotracheal tube, and compare direct and video laryngoscopy.
Genetic Relationship of Hibiscus syriacus L. Clarified by AFLP and Morphological Evaluation

Genetic diversity and relationship of Hibiscus syriacus L. were analyzed using 127 cultivars and 7 landraces by the amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) and the assessment of morphological characteristics. The AFLP analysis was carried out by using capillary electrophoresis with 28 fluorescent labeled primer combinations. Morphological evaluation was executed by the 11 parameters. A multivariate data analysis was performed using similarity coefficients, Euclidean distance, unweight pair group method with arithmetic averages (UPGMA) clustering method, and principal coordinate analysis (PCoA) of NTSYS-pc program. In the AFLP analysis, a total of 2, 842 bands were produced in the 28 primer sets, and 43.4% (1,236 bands) of them were identified to be polymorphic. Similarity coefficient values ranged between 0.49 and 0.98. Scattered distribution of the 127 cultivars and 7 landraces was identified, and they were divided into three major groups based on PCoA and UPGMA clustering analysis. In the morphological evaluation, Euclidean distance values ranged from 0.28 to 10.32. The distribution showed that there was a little difference compared with the result of AFLP. The pedigrees of several cultivars were cross-correlated using the results of AFLP and morphological analysis.
