On the basis of the research and survey on the hotel, I suggested in this paper the comprehensive to secure safety from a fire in hotel in the following areas : fire prevention, escape from a fire, fire-fighting devices, and fire-prevention management. First, in architectural planning and design, more reliable plan should be made for fire door and anti-smoke around the stairs. Second, in escape plan, it should be designed that we can refuge to the 2 directions. And we should make the middle floor for refuge from a fire which an aerial truck can reach easily. Third, in fire-protection devices, Automatic Fire Alarm Systems must be maintained under the synthetic system. Fourth, in fire-prevention management, the residents and managing officers in hotel must have developed the abilities to cope with a fire.

International economic environment has lately set in a frontless competitive age with the settlement of UR agreement, and the appearance of WTO about the end of 1993. In' the UR agreement, market barrier, such as, tariff and non-tariff barrier, etc. for trade liberalization has been not only mitigated, but in the subject of that, expanded former industrial products-centered areas into agricultural products and serivices area. Also, It had set international trade norm in substantially good working order, so cleared the rules of, such as, subsidy, countervailing duties, and anti-dumping duties, etc., and embody the necessary condition of such as, safeguard, the place of origin, etc. And, It had established WTO to improve the points in which the binding power that the GATT, mere international pact, has is weak. Consequently, with the appearance of WTO organization, international economy is going to have be activized largely, and export environment will improve considerably with the removal of trade barriers, whereas the globalization of international economy has facilitated, and the epoch of unlimited competition has begun, so we have the time to examine and propel newly the course of foreign trade and trade policy. Korea's trade policy will have to notice this change of international economic eavironment in the days to come. That is, we will not only have to notice the high and low speed of opening, and the determination of priority of the opening areas, but externally we observe clearly that our final objectives are in the settlement of opening, free, and fair trade. Seen as above, our economic policy also has to control inflation, and maintain proper growth in the macroscopic side. To achieve this goal, we will have to stabilize labor department, to minimize a wage raise, and to harmonize fully between a financial policy and a monetary policy. Only with above measures, we will have to cope elastically with the rapidly changing international economic environment. Therefore, this thesis investigate the change of this international economic environment and presented our countermeasure about that.

Could we enjoy a moment of the unification between North and South Korea as our national task? Will the national homogeneity be restored, otherwise can it be? Despite of our long-raised wish, it seems rather pessimistic to solve these problems well. However, we are sure that it is not because we have been lack of efforts and abilities but the political and administrative systems in North Korea have not been much opened to the outside world. Nevertheless, to deliver our unyielding wish of the unification, more various approaches, researches, and supplementations are keenly needed than ever. Most of all, our local public officials should know the systems, structures, and functions of local administration in North Korea based on materials attainable here to understand it better. This paper used multi-dimensional approaches rather than reviews on local administration in North Korea. In the first chapter, general traits of North Korea administration are examined. And next, we will study the structures, divisions, functions, and its distinctive features of local administration in North Korea in turn. In the last chapter, we can anticipate some possible schemes for the revision of local administration in North Korea after the unification in the future. This paper provides you a good example of comparative study between North and South Korea.

The purpose of this study was to compare and analyse foreign direct investment of both America which is representative foreign direct investment country and Japan which had been gone through early investment process like Korea, and then to display a desirable system and policy foreign direct investment. The following conclusions are drawn from the analysis concerned; Firstly, one has to promote positively the foreign direct investment of medium and small enterprises. Secondly, the promotion policy of foreign investment is to be made with close relations of overall economic policy, especially industrial policy, trade policy and technical policy, etc. Thirdly, foreign direct investment is needed the policy and system analysis of foreign investment reception of investment countries as well as domestic economic circumstances. Fourthly, when foreign investment is made, one has to avoid excessive competition, establish complemental relations among domestic enterprises, and maintain in formation community system.
