Motion synchronization between developed real and virtual robots for object recognition and target tracking is introduced. ASUSs XTION PRO Live is implemented as a sensor and configured to recognize walls and obstacles, and perceive objects. In order to create virtual reality, Unity 3D is adopted to be associated with the real robot, and the virtual object is controlled by using an input device. A Bluetooth serial communication module is used for wireless communication between the PC and the real robot. The motion information of a virtual object controlled by the user is sent to the robot. Then, the robot moves in the same way as the virtual object according to the motion information. Through motion synchronization, two scenarios, which map the real space and current object information with virtual objects and space, were demonstrated, yielding good agreement between the two spaces.

A ring R is called reversibly Armendariz if $b_ja_i=0$ for all $i$, $j$ whenever $f(x)g(x)=0$ for two polynomials $f(x)=\sum_{i=0}^{m}a_ix^i,\;g(x)=\sum_{j=0}^{n}b_jx^j$ over R. It is proved that a ring R is reversibly Armendariz if and only if its polynomial ring is reversibly Armendariz if and only if its Laurent polynomial ring is reversibly Armendariz. Relations between reversibly Armendariz rings and related ring properties are examined in this note, observing the structures of many examples concerned. Various kinds of reversibly Armendariz rings are provided in the process. Especially it is shown to be possible to construct reversibly Armendariz rings from given any Armendariz rings.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In this study, a nonlinear piezoelectric energy harvester (PEH) with a ball tip mass was designed and fabricated for broadband energy harvesting. The proposed nonlinear PEH exhibits two resonant frequencies (5 and 15 Hz) and can harvest a considerable amount of electrical energy, whereas a conventional PEH with a rigid tip mass only exhibits one (15 Hz). The minimum acceleration that can induce nonlinearity in the proposed PEH was determined to be 3 m s–2. In order to maximize the electrical output of the proposed PEH, 0.1 mm was selected as the optimal vibration amplitude of the ball among three options (0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 mm). The maximum output power of the proposed PEH was measured as 13.5 mW at 15 Hz and at a load resistance of 30 kΩ, which is the matching load resistance calculated and verified with the experimental result. The output power of the proposed PEH was measured to be 1.8 mW at 5 Hz and 45 kΩ, whereas that of the conventional PEH at 5 Hz was 0.03 mW, implying that the proposed PEH possesses one additional resonant frequency over the conventional PEH. In addition, the proposed PEH performs significantly better than the conventional PEH in terms of broadband energy harvesting. At a power level of 100 μW, the proposed PEH at 3 m s–2 provides a bandwidth of 20 Hz, which is more than 133% wider than the 15 Hz provided by the conventional PEH. By utilizing the nonlinearity with a ball tip mass, the PEH vibration is capable of harvesting considerable electrical energy from more than two resonant frequencies.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> A nonlinear piezoelectric energy harvester with a ball tip mass is proposed. </LI> <LI> The conventional structure that has a rigid tip mass performs relatively poorly. </LI> <LI> The proposed structure exhibits two resonant frequencies. </LI> <LI> These frequencies enable the structure to harvest considerable electrical energy. </LI> </UL> </P>

This study has empirically analyzed the impact of mobile commerce qualities on customer satisfaction as well as customers repurchase intention. In addition, the moderating effect analysis was conducted in order to determine how different levels of quality impact on customer satisfaction in accordance with the level of mobile familiarity. According to the results of the research, instant connectivity and contextual offers in system qualities, formation in information qualities and transaction processing accuracy in service qualities has a significant influence on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. However, it was shown that recentness in information qualities and ease of use in service qualities did not have a significant influence on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. As for the moderating effect of mobile familiarity, research showed that instant connectivity, contextual offers and ease of use has a moderating effect on customer satisfaction.

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of immersion treatment using lactic acid (LA) and sodium benzoate (SB) on the physicochemical quality and freshness of spent hen breast meats. A total of 135 spent hen breast meats were subjected to 9 different treatments using various concentrations of LA and/or SB in sterile DW. The 9 treatment groups were as follows: Control, sterile DW without LA or SB; T1, 1% LA; T2, 2% LA; T3, 4% LA; T4, 1% LA and 0.1% SB; T5, 2% LA and 0.1% SB; T6 2% LA and 0.2% SB; T7, 2% LA and 0.4% SB; T8, 4% LA and 0.2% SB, respectively. All groups were kept at 4oC for 15 d. The microbial counts in the control group gradually increased during storage, but those for the treated groups were significantly lower than the control or were not detected. The pH values of the control were significantly higher than those of the treated groups (p

Wegener’s granulomatosis (WG) is relatively common in the central nervous system due to necrotizing vasculitis resulting in peripheral neuropathy or cranial nerve paralysis. However, WG, which is identified as multiple meningeal mass lesions have rarely been reported. This report describes the case of a 57-year-old woman with WG which was mimicking multiple meningiomas. Open biopsy proven that it was WG. The treatment is very different between meningioma and WG, attention should be paid to diagnosis and treatment planning.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>We propose a piezoelectric energy harvesting technology installed in a roadway speed bump. We have installed a module that can charge mobile phones utilizing a speed bump piezoelectric harvester (SBPH), which is easy to apply to roads. A highly integrated module with 40 piezo-generators was fixed and installed at the center of the speed bump. When a medium-sized vehicle passed the module at a speed of 30 km/h, an output voltage of 144 Vmax, output current of 45.2 mAmax, and output power of 4086.08 mWmax (6.81 W/m2) were measured at a load resistance of 2 kΩ. When the vehicle passed over the SBPH nine times, it charged a capacitor (10,000 μF) to provide 6 V for about 200 s, and the charged electrical energy was enough to operate a cellphone. The self-controlled battery charging system via electricity generated by the piezoelectric module could be applied to a speed bump installed on an actual road.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> The harvester was installed in common speed bump on an actual road. </LI> <LI> The harvesting module produces 4086.08 mWmax and 6.81 W/m2. </LI> <LI> The harvester successfully charged a mobile phone without external energy source. </LI> <LI> These technologies can improve self-controlled charging system on actual road. </LI> </UL> </P>
