      • STS304와 6000계열 알루미늄 합금의 마찰용접성

        This study deals with the friction weldability of STS304 Austenitic stainless steel to 6000 series aluminium alloys, those are A6061-T6, A6063, A6351. The total upset the biggest in case of STS304-A6063 and depend on strength of aluminium alloy. All welded specimen in the condition of upset pressure 75MPa exceeded the tensile strength of base metal. As a result of analyzing the tensile fracture surfaces, it showed ductility in case of both STS304-A6063 and STS304-A6351, while it showed poor ductility in case of STS304-A6061-T6. The results of bending test coincide with characteristic of tensile fracture surfaces. In the case of STS304-A6063 and STS304-A6351, any crack did not appear in welded joint, even in bending up to 90o. As a result of EDAX analysis of welded joint, it has been confirmed that Ni, Cr and Fe in STS304 were diffused toward aluminium alloy side. Consequently, friction weldability of STS304-aluminium alloys is determineded by combination of micro deformation and diffusion.

      • Al과 Cu의 마찰용접시 접합부의 기계적 성질

        This report deals with the mechanical properties when the friction welding between Al and Cu. Main results obtained are as follows; 1) With welding conditions of 2.6sec heating time, the tensile strength of weld interface was reached at that of Al base metal by 75% 2) The hardness of weld interface is considerably higher than hardness of Al base metal and top hardness of radial direction is at half position of periphery. 3) The structure of the joint was transformed as a fine structure in HAZ of meterials and the finest structure like band by high pressure and plastic deformation in weld interface adjacent to Cu.

        Superficial temporal artery aneurysm is a rare entity, which is related to blunt trauma. It was diagnosed with history, physical examination and CT or angiography. Aneurysm is simply treated with excision and ligation. We report a case with review of literature.

      • 算數·自然 統合敎科 分析 및 指導硏究

        This study is an analysis and a plan for the improvement on a teaching method, a development of the teaching instruments in integrated subject of mathematics and natural science called "Inquiring Life". Thus this study is summarized as follows: (1) An analysis of the integrated textbook. ① The proportion of the time required for teaching mathematics and natural science is 2:1 in our curriculum. However, in the practical guide book of the Inquiring Life, it has been investigated that the time allotted for mathematics is 12 periods more than the time allotted for natural science, furthermore its significant difference is to appear in x^2=3.86 (p<0.05). ② It has been found that there is a meaning of the integration in the first-term text-book, because the quantity of the contents which is integrated in it is 48.7% of the whole. But there is a problem which must be corrected in the second-term textbook, because such quantity is merely 25.6% of the whole. ③ The time required for teaching a field "figures" was 12 periods (9.2%) of the whole in the textbook of the third revised curriculum (1973). However, since the time required for it in the new textbook is only 2.5 periods (2.0%), this is to show a significant difference in x^2=4.62 (p<0.05). ④ It is because of a emphasis on the problem-solving that the time required for teaching the field "relations" has increased more than that of the preceding textbook. ⑤ There is some resistance in "a reclassification of the shaped boards" and "a learning for preservation of a quantity" to construct a possibility of the learning achievment. ⑥ It is found that the contents and the expressions of the integrated textbook is suitable for our pupils, because, in a questionary investigation for their appropriateness, a significant difference is to appear in x^2=9.49 (p<0.05). (2) The teaching method of the integrated textbook. The integrated teaching method is verified to be effective for a group of the dull pupils by showing a significant difference with CR_M=1.99 (p<0.05). (3) A development of the teaching instruments in the integrated textbook. The integrated teaching instruments that are considered to be a interest of pupils, a acceleration of thoughts, a economic condition, a exactness, a convenience, a firmness and anewness, are efficient for our pupils. (4) An estimation for the integrated textbook. An integration of the curriculum and the revision of the form the pupils' cumulative records are demanded in order to get the good estimations for the integrated concepts.

      • 기니픽 와우에서 전압 의존성 K^+ channels의 발현

        Ion channels or pumps in the membrane of eukaryotic cell respond to difference between the intracellular and the extracellular ion concentrations. They induce the electrical potential necessary develop the flow of solutes and ions. Ion channel is one of the basic structures maintaining the homeostasis to control the excitation, secretion, motility, growth and volume of cell. In particular, K^+ channel has a wide variety of sub-types and participates in signal transmission and signal spreading within the hair cells and the supporting cells. In cochlea, K^+ channel is responsible for the creation of positive endolymphatic potential and it is necessary for the sensory transduction of hair cell. However, there has been few research on the involvement of K^+ channel for the homeostasis of hair cell, due to the anatomical and physiological characteristic of stria vascularis. In this study, the expression and the distribution of voltage-dependent K^+ channels(I_K, I_A) were examined in albino guinea pigs. Results are summarized below. 1.Immunoblot analysis using antibodies against the delayed outward rectifiers(I_K) - K_V 1.1, 1.2, and 2.1 and the transient outward rectifier(I_A)-K_V 1.4 revealed the expression of theses channels in the lateral wall of the guinea pig cochlea. 2.Immunohistochemical staining with these antibodies in cochlear lateral wall revealed a strong positive response in the intermediate cells and a weak positive response of stria vascularis that lacks intermediate cells. These results suggest a role of K_V channels in the voltage-dependent flow of K^+ in intermediate cells, supporting the 'two-cell model' theory.

        용융염 전해정련 계에서 초 우라늄 대용물질로서 cerium dysprosium의 적용

        회토류원소 중 cerium과 dysprosium은 악틴족 원소와 염화물 생성 자유에너지의 차이가 크지 않기 때문에 분리하기가 매우 어렵다. 즉, 용융염을 사용 하는 전해정련 공정에서는 이들 회토류 원소가 악틴족 원소와 함께 석출되는 특성을 나타낸다. 이러한 성질을 이용하여 본 연구는 용융염을 전해질로 이용하는 전해정련실험에 cerium과 dysprosium금속을 초 우라늄원소의 대용 물질로 사용하여 그들의 모사 특성을 고찰하었다. 실험 결과 용융염 중 낮은 염화우라늄농도에서는 이 두 회토류 원소가 초 우라늄과 유사한 전해 특성을 나타냈으나, 높은 염화우라늄 농도에서는 회토류 원소의 거동을 보여주었다. The rare earth elements, especiaily cerium and dysprosium are very difficult to be separated from actinide elements due to their narrow differences in the Gibbs free energy of formation of chloride. That is, they are codeposited with actinide elements in electrorefining process with molten salt. Using this characteristics, present study discusses the feasibility for use of cerium and dysprosium metals to simulate the electrorefining characteristics of the transuranium. The experimental results show that the electrolytic behaviors of these two rare earth elements are similar with the transuranium in low concentration range of uranium chloride in molten salt. However, in high concentration range of uranium chloride they behave as the rare earth elements.

      • CuW와 Cu를 이용한 마찰용접부의 미세조직에 관한 연구

        This report deals with the microstructure when the friction welding between CuW and Cu. As a result of microstructure analysis, the application of high friction pressure and upset pressure is able to decrease bonding strength because the microstructure of weld interface is changed abruptly. The fine tungsten grains at high friction pressure(6kg/㎟) could induce the crack formation along weld interface and fracture adjacent to the weld interface. HAZ of Cu side was narrowed with high friction pressure because time required to reach steady state was decreased.
