부모가 지각한 원가족과 부모의 양육스타일 및 세대 간 전이에 관한 연구 = The Study of Parent’s and Grand Parents’ Parenting Style and Intergenerational transmission

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This is to study the pattern of parent's and grandparents’ parenting style and the effect of grandparents’ parenting style on parents’ parenting style. The parenting style influences heavily on children’s holistic development, so parents’perceived rearing style of their parents are also studied here. The subjects were 334 pairs of parents of 3 to 5 years old preschooler's. The result of this study were as follows: First, father, mother, grandfather from father side and grandmother from mother side were the highest parent style of ‘authoritative’ and ‘authoritarian’, and ‘permissive’ were almost same level. Second, the father and grandfather's parenting style of ‘authoritative’, ‘authoritarian’ and ‘permissive’ were showed positive correlation. The result of multiple regression of the father parenting style was effected by grandfather, ‘authoritative’, ‘authoritarian’ and ‘permissive’ were effected each 19.8%, 14.2%, 9.9% . Third, also the mother and grandmother's parenting style of ‘authoritative’, ‘authoritarian’ and ‘permissive’ showed positive correlation. The result of multiple regression of the father parenting style was effected by grandfather, ‘authoritative’, ‘authoritarian’ and ‘permissive’ were effected each 12.1%, 9.6%, 11.6%.
This study has been signified to offer basic data for parenting style and to help preschoolers' holistic development by exploration and use of parenting program.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아의 전인적인 발달에 중요한 영향을 미치는 부모가 지각한 원가족 및 부모의 양육스타일을 살펴보고, 유아의 부모가 지각한 원가족의 양육스타일이 부모의 양육스타일에 어떠한 영향을 끼쳤는지를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 서울 및 수도권에 살고 있는 3∼5세의 자녀를 둔 부모 각 334쌍을 대상으로 부모가 지각한 원가족 및 부모의 양육스타일을 조사하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 부, 모, 조부, 외조모의 양육스타일은 모두 ‘권위형’이 가장 높게 나타났으며, ‘지배형’과 ‘방임형’은 유사하게 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 조부의 양육스타일이 부에 미치는 영향을 다중회귀분석 결과, ‘권위형’, ‘지배형’, ‘방임형’이 각각 19.8%, 14.2%, 9.9% 영향을 받았다. 셋째, 외조모의 양육스타일이 모에 미치는 영향을 다중회귀분석 결과, ‘권위형’, ‘지배형’, ‘방임형’이 각각 12.1%, 9.6%, 11.6% 영향을 받았다. 본 연구의 목적은 양육스타일의 세대 간 전이 분석을 통하여 유아기의 자녀를 둔 부모의 양육스타일을 이해하며, 유아기의 자녀를 둔 부모의 자녀양육을 위한 부모교육프로그램을 개발하기 위한 기초자료로 제공하는데 의의가 있다.
