기혼 여성의 불안정 애착유형과 결혼만족도와의 관계에서 기본 심리적 욕구 충족과 부정적 갈등해결 전략의 매개효과 = The Relationship between Insecure Attachment Style and Marital Satisfaction of Married Women: The Mediation Effect of Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction and Negative Conflict Resolution Strategy

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediation effects of basic psychological needs satisfaction and negative conflict resolution strategy on relations between insecure attachment style and marital satisfaction of married women. For that purpose, 297 married women in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon area responded to the questionnaires drawn using Experiences in Close Relationship-Revised(ECR-R), Basic Psychological Needs Importance Scale for Couples (BPNIS-Couple), Managing Affect and Differences Scale(MADS), Korea-Marital Satisfaction Inventory(K-MSI). The research finding were as follows. First, adult attachment had significant correlation with basic psychological needs satisfaction, negative conflict resolution strategy, and marital satisfaction. Attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance, two domains of adult attachment, had significant negative correlations with basic psychological needs satisfaction and marital satisfaction and significant positive correlations with negative conflict resolution strategy. And basic psychological needs had significant correlations with marital satisfaction and negative conflict resolution strategy had negative correlations with marital satisfaction. Second, basic psychological needs satisfaction had significant mediating effects on relations between adult attachment and marital satisfaction. Specifically, it had partial mediating effects on relations between attachment anxiety and marital satisfaction and complete mediating effects on relations between attachment avoidance and marital satisfaction. Third, effects on attachment anxiety to marital satisfaction suppressed by negative conflict resolution strategy. And negative conflict resolution strategy had no significant mediating effects on relations between attachment avoidance and marital satisfaction. Based on those findings, the study discussed their implications for counseling practice and suggestions for follow-up study.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 기혼 여성의 불안정 애착유형과 결혼만족도와의 관계에서 기본 심리적 욕구 충족과 부정적 갈등해결 전략의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 수도권 지역에 거주하는 기혼여성 297명을 대상으로 성인애착 척도(ECR-R), 기본 심리적 욕구 척도(BPNIS-Couple), 갈등해결 전략 척도(MADS), 결혼만족도 척도(K-MSI)를 사용하여 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인애착과 기본 심리적 욕구 충족, 부정적 갈등해결 전략, 결혼만족 간의 유의미한 상관이 있었다. 성인애착의 두 차원인 애착불안과 애착회피는 기본 심리적 욕구 충족, 결혼만족도와 유의한 부적 상관이 있었고, 부정적 갈등해결 전략과는 정적 상관이 있었다. 또한 기본 심리적 욕구 충족은 결혼만족도와 정적 상관이, 부정적 갈등해결 전략은 결혼만족도와 부적 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 성인애착과 결혼만족도와의 관계에서 기본 심리적 욕구 충족의 매개효과는 유의미하였는데 애착불안은 결혼 만족에 부분매개 했고, 애착회피는 결혼 만족에 완전매개를 하였다. 셋째, 부정적 갈등해결 전략은 애착불안이 결혼만족에 미치는 영향을 억제하는 것으로 나타났고, 애착회피와 결혼만족도와의 관계에서 부정적 갈등해결 전략의 매개효과는 유의미하지 않았다. 끝으로 본 연구의 제한점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.
