성인애착과 결혼만족의 관계: 기본 심리적 욕구 만족과 성적 친밀감의 매개 효과 = The relation between adult attachment and marital satisfaction: the mediation effect of basic psychological needs satisfaction and sexual intimacy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 성인애착과 결혼만족의 관계에서 기본 심리적 욕구 만족과 성적 친밀감의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 충청 지역에 거주하는 기혼자 501명을 대상으로 성인애착유형, 결혼만족, 기본 심리적 욕구 만족, 성적 친밀감을 측정하였고 구조 방정식 모형을 적용하여 분석하였다.
본 연구를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 성인애착과 기본 심리적 욕구 만족, 성적 친밀감, 결혼만족 간의 유의미한 상관이 있었다. 성인애착의 두 차원인 애착불안과 애착회피는 기본 심리적 욕구 만족, 성적 친밀감, 결혼만족과 유의한 부적 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 성인애착이 결혼만족에 미치는 영향을 살펴보면, 애착불안과 애착회피 모두 결혼만족에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 성인애착과 결혼만족의 관계에서 기본 심리적 욕구 만족과 성적 친밀감의 매개효과는 유의미하였다. 기본 심리적 욕구 만족과 성적 친밀감 각각은 모두 결혼만족을 완전 매개하였다. 넷째, 성인애착과 결혼만족의 관계에서 기본 심리적 욕구 만족과 성적 친밀감의 이중매개 효과가 유의미하게 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 상담실제에 대한 시사점 및 후속 연구에 대한 제안을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediation effects of basic psychological needs satisfaction and sexual intimacy on relations between adult attachment and marital satisfaction. For that purpose, 501 married people in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong area completed a questionnaire packet including the adult attachment, marital satisfaction, basic psychological needs satisfaction and sexual intimacy. Collected data were analyzed with the structural equation model.
The research findings were as follows: first, adult attachment had significant correlations with basic psychological needs satisfaction, sexual intimacy, and marital satisfaction. Attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance, two domains of adult attachment, had significant negative correlations with basic psychological needs satisfaction, sexual intimacy and marital satisfaction. Second, as for the effects of adult attachment on marital satisfaction, attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance had no direct effects on marital satisfaction. Third, basic psychological needs satisfaction and sexual intimacy had significant mediating effects on relations between adult attachment and marital satisfaction. Specifically, both of them had complete mediation effects on relations between adult attachment and marital satisfaction. Fourth, basic psychological needs satisfaction and sexual intimacy had significant dual mediating effects on relations between adult attachment and marital satisfaction. Based on those findings, the study discussed their implications for counseling practice and suggestions for follow-up study.
