부모의 사회적 지지와 대학생 다중역할계획태도와의 관계에서 진로정체감과 일의 의미의 매개효과: 남녀차이를 중심으로 = The Mediated Effects of Career Identity and Meaning of Work on Relation of University Students’ Parental Support and Attitude Toward Multiple Role Planning with Reference Gender Difference

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

During college student periods, it is the time to recognize and ready for external demands from their own society, and to ready for psychological and economic independence from their parents internally. Especially a job employment and a marriage are important experiences which should be considered when planning the career path and preparing for this. The current study will propose differences between men and women in mediating paths that is parental support and Attitudes Toward Multiple Role Planning mediating through the meaning of work and the career identity. With 1,311 university students, the following inventories were carried out: parental support, the Vocation Identity Scale, the Meaning of work in the Calling and Vocational Questionnaire, the Attitudes Toward Multiple Role Planning. As for the result of Multi-group analysis, parental support play significant role in Attitudes Toward Multiple Role Planning of men and women alike. Gender difference is observed in regard to meaning of work and career identity. Men’s meaning of work mediates parental support and Attitudes Toward Multiple Role Planning. On the contrary, women tend to show that there was mediator effect of career identity on the relation between parental support and Attitudes Toward Multiple Role Planning. Suggestions and implications for understanding factors influenced on the Attitude of Multiple Role Planning were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 대학생 시기에 고민해야하는 중요한 진로 과업인 결혼과 일의 양립을 준비하는 다중역할 계획태도 형성에 있어 부모의 지지라는 외적 변인이 어떠한 영향을 미치며, 이때 진로정체감과 일의 의미라는 개인 내적 변인이 어떠한 영향을 주는지에 대해 살펴보았다. 특히, 부모의 관계 및 지지가 진로 추구, 진로 행동 및 진로정체감 형성에 영향을 미치는데 성차가 존재함을 바탕으로, 대학생의 성별에 따른 경로 차를 고려하였다. 연구 결과 부모의 지지는 남녀 모두에게서 직접적으로 다중역할계획태도에 유의하게 영향을 주었으며, 남자의 경우 부모의 지지는 일의 의미라는 내적 변인을 매개로 다중역할 계획태도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 반면, 여자의 경우 부모의 지지는 진로정체감이라는 내적 변인을 매개로 다중역할 계획태도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 결혼 후 일과 가정을 병행하는 것을 고려하고 준비하는데 있어 남자와 여자에게 서로 다른 개입이 필요하며, 진로상담에서 여성의 경우 진로에 대한 정체감을 남성의 경우, 일이 가지는 의미를 강조하는 접근이 필요함을 시사한다. 마지막으로 이 연구의 제한점과 가능한 후속연구에 대하여 제안하였다.
