역할모델 및 다중역할계획에 대한 태도와 진로포부의 관계 : 여대생을 대상으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 여대생의 진로포부와 역할모델, 다중역할 계획에 대한 태도의 관계를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 여대·남녀공학 대학에 재학 중인 여대생 325명을 대상으로 역할모델, 다중역할 계획에 대한 태도, 진로포부 척도를 사용하여 설문조사를 하였다.
연구 결과 첫째, 여대생들은 역할모델로 진로와 관련된 유명인과 부모님을 가장 많이 선택하였으며, 이러한 역할모델은 진로관련 목표·청사진을 세우는데 도움을 주거나, 지지자, 실패 시 희망 주는 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.
둘째, 역할모델의 하위차원인 지지/안내와 영감/모델링, 다중역할계획에 대한 태도의 하위차원 중 지식/확신성, 몰입, 개입차원은 진로포부 변인과 유의미한 정적 상관을 나타냈다.
셋째, 역할모델이 있을수록 진로포부 수준이 높았으며, 다중역할계획에 대한 태도의 하위차원 중 지식/확신성, 몰입, 개입차원의 점수가 높았다. 즉 모델링을 할 수 있는 역할모델이 있을수록, 다중역할에 대한 지식을 가지고 있고, 다중역할을 조화롭게 수행해 나가고자하며, 이를 미리 준비할수록 진로포부 수준이 높아졌다.
본 연구를 통해 역할모델이 있으며, 이 역할모델로부터 진로와 관련하여 지지를 얻고, 모델링을 할 수 있을 때 진로포부 수준이 높아짐을 알 수 있었다. 이는 대학생의 진로발달 과정에서 유의미한 타자가 중요하게 작용함을 나타내는 것으로 진로교육 및 실제 진로상담현장에 참고할 수 있는 상담적 함의를 가진다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship of role model and attitudes toward multiple role planning on the career aspiration of female university students.
The participants of this study were female undergraduate students(N=325). To measure the role model, Influence of Others on Academic and Career Decisions Scale(IOACDS), which was translated and modified was used. The attitudes toward multiple role planning was measured by Attitudes toward Multiple Role Planning(ATMRP). The degree of career aspiration was measured by Career Aspiration Scale(CAS).
The results of this study are as follows;
First, the female students in this study indicated their parents and famous people(same career) to be most influential. These role models can give advice on academic and career planning and be a supporter for them. Also Role models inspired students with courage when they were discouraged.
Second, the Support/Guidance, Inspiration/Modeling of IOACDS and Knowledge/Certainty, Commitment, Involvement of ATMRP were positively related to the degree of career aspiration.
Finally, students who had a career role model tended to show greater career aspiration. In other words students who have a career role model have information on multi-role and try to carry out both roles. This is related to greater career inspiration.
The result of this study shows that role models can make an important contribution to academic and career development.
