보호관찰 청소년의 인터넷 중독과 관련된 심리 사회적 특성 = Psycho-sociologic characteristics related internet addiction for the youth in probation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data necessary for providing proper intervention and for preventing misdemeanor of object of the probation youth by reviewing psychological and social characteristics related to Internet addiction and variables affecting Internet addiction of probation youth. For this end, difference verification and multiple regression analysis were used for objects of 226 young people under probation education. As important results of this study, there was differences in level of Internet addiction according to types of guardians of the probation youth and also, level of Internet addiction appeared high as use time of Internet is longer, as the youth use Internet as PC cafes, and as the youth use Internet for the purpose of online games or chatting. And among psychosocial characteristic variables (self-control power, self-respect, aggressiveness, psychological tranquility, and family dispute), self-control power, self-respect, and psychological tranquility of the probation youth showed negative correlation to Internet addiction and aggressiveness and family dispute variables showed positive correlation to Internet addiction. In addition, as the result of finding out factors of impacts on Internet addiction of the probation youth, types of guardians, use time of Internet, and aggressiveness tendency were found out as variables of impacts on Internet addiction of the probation youth and variables of Internet use service or self-control power of the youth, and family dispute were also found out as important prediction variables for Internet addiction. Utilizing these results, it seems like necessary to have intervention in a welfare aspect continuously in connection with local communities for providing proper programs and supports of consultation during correction education of objects of the probation youth.
