중·고등학생의 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 심리적 요인에 대한 연구 = The Study on Psychological Variables impact on Career Preparation Behavior of Secondary School Students

The purpose of this research was to figure out the elements that impact the career preparation behavior and to analyze developmental aspects about the career preparation behavior from second and third grade of middle school to first grade of high school. The material for this research was that panel information of KYPS(Korean Youth Panel Survey), about second year of middle school students, during their 3 years. There were 3,449 students in my analysis and the method of statistics were the logit-regression analysis and correlation analysis etc. The result of this study were as follows; First, each they show very different and unique aspects; especially seventh preparation behavior about the psychological variables that have influence on career preparation behavior. In career related lecture, the students who have more study pressure and more high grades did higher performance than others throughout their 3 years, in addition, in career aptitude test, the students who have more career maturity, more study pressure and more high grades do higher performance throughout their 3 years. Only study pressure had an impact in career counseling and the student who have lower academic achievement did more career counseling in third grade of middle school. Students who have more career maturity, more study pressure are more likely to do career preparation behavior in reading activity about career-related books and magazines. Second, in this research that most secondary students try out the perform activities related to career aptitude test in developmental aspects of the career preparation behavior. The perform activities related to career aptitude test are the most actively implemented than other preparation behavior field. The rate of career preparation behavior in career training was analyzed 6.5%, so that was the most poorly and the chart show that below 8.1% of students did career preparation behaviors in self-career experience programs. There are lowest rate(9.5%) in career-related lectures or classes, while there are the highest rate(33.2%) in third grade of middle school's small group activities related to career. thus method of career education moves depending on grade from lectures or classes to small group activities. Therefore, we have to operate programs which have many concerning for each grade's psychological variables, in order to increase secondary school student's behavior for career preparations and it has to be done for career education that includes various career preparation behaviors.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중·고등학생의 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 요소를 탐색하고, 중학교 2학년, 중학교 3학년, 고등학교 1학년에 따라 진로준비행동이 어떠한 발달양상을 보이고 있는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 분석에 사용한 연구 자료는 한국청소년패널조사(KYPS)의 중학교 2학년 패널에 대한 1차년도, 2차년도, 3차년도 패널자료이다. 분석에 포함된 연구대상은 3,449명이며, 사용된 통계방법으로는 빈도분석에 이어 로짓회귀분석, 상관분석 등의 기법을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 심리적 요인에 대하여 7가지 준비행동의 있어서 각각 다르고 독특한 양상을 보여주고 있다. 진로관련 강의나 수업에 있어서 3개년 모두 공부압력, 학업성적이 높을수록 그 수행을 많이 하며, 진로관련 적성검사활동은 3개년 모두 진로성숙도, 공부압력, 학업성적이 높을수록 수행을 더 많이 하는 것으로 분석되었다. 진로관련 상담에 있어서 3개년 모두 공부압력 만이 영향을 미치고 있고, 중학교 3학년에서 학업성적이 낮을수록 진로상담을 더 수행하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 진로관련 책/ 잡지 열독에서 3개년 모두 진로성숙도, 공부압력이 높을수록 그러한 진로준비행동을 할 확률이 높다. 둘째, 중·고등학생의 진로준비행동 발달양상은 7가지 준비행동 중에서 진로관련 적성검사 수행활동이 가장 많이 이루어짐을 알 수 있다. 진로준비활동에서 적성검사 수행활동이 다른 영역의 준비행동보다 활발히 진행되고 있다. 직업훈련에서 진로준비행동 참여율은 6.5% 이하로 7가지 준비행동 중에서 가장 저조한 것으로 분석되었고, 직업생활 직접체험 프로그램 수행은 8.1% 이하로 낮은 진로준비행동을 나타내고 있다. 진로관련 강연이나 수업은 중학교 3학년 때 가장 낮은 수행(9.5%)을 보이고 있으며 진로관련 소집단 활동은 중학교 3학년 때 가장 높은 수행(33.2%)을 보이고 있어 진로교육의 방법이 학년에 따라 강연이나 수업에서 소집단 활동으로 이동함을 알 수 있다. 따라서 차후 중·고등학생의 진로준비행동을 높이기 위해서는 학년별로 심리적 변인을 고려한 차별화된 프로그램을 실시해야 하며 더욱 다양한 진로준비행동을 하도록 하는 진로교육이 이루어져야 한다.
