대학생의 취업 스트레스와 우울 간의 관계: 적응적인 인지적 정서조절 전략의 매개효과 검증 = The Relationship Between Job-seeking Stress and Depression in College Students : The Mediating Roles of Cognitive Emotion Regulation Strategies

The present study examined the relationships between college students` job-seeking stress, depression, and adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies. In particular, this study evaluated the model in which adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies mediated the link between job-seeking stress and depression. First, correlational analyses (N = 380) showed that job-seeking stress positively correlated with depression, job-seeking stress was negatively associated with the two subscales of regulation strategies (i.e., ``Refocus on planning``, ``Positive reappraisal``), and depression negatively correlated with all of the sub-scales of regulation strategies except for ``Acceptance``. In addition, structural equation modeling analyses indicated that the hypothesized model fit the data well. The link between job-seeking stress and depression was partially mediated by ``Refocus on planning``. Implications for future research and counseling practice are discussed.
