중학생이 지각한 부모 지지와 심리적 독립 및 진로태도성숙의 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중학생이 지각한 부모 지지와 심리적 독립 및 진로태도성숙 간에 어떠한 관계가 있는지 알아보는 데에 목적이 있으며, 이를 통해 중학생의 진로 지도를 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다.
이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 설정한 연구문제는 첫째, 부모 지지, 심리적 독립, 진로태도성숙은 어떠한 관계가 있는가, 둘째, 부모 지지가 심리적 독립에 유의미한 영향을 미치는가, 셋째, 부모 지지가 진로태도 성숙에 유의미한 영향을 미치는가, 넷째, 심리적 독립이 진로태도성숙에 유의미한 영향을 미치는가, 다섯째, 부모 지지와 심리적 독립이 진로태도성숙에 유의미한 영향을 미치는가이다.
연구문제를 해결하기 위해 본 연구에서는 서울, 경기 및 인천 지역에 소재하는 5개 중학교의 2학년과 3학년 학생 총 331명을 대상으로 부모 지지, 심리적 독립, 진로태도성숙 정도를 측정하고, SPSS 12.0을 사용해 상관분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다.
본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 부모 지지와 심리적 독립 간에는 유의미한 부적 상관이 나타났으나 심리적 독립의 하위 요인들에 따라 차이를 보여, 기능적 독립 및 태도적 독립과는 부적 상관을, 정서적 독립 및 갈등적 독립과는 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 부모 지지와 진로태도성숙 간에는 독립성을 제외한 모든 하위 요인들과 전체 변인에서 유의미한 정적 상관이 있었다. 심리적 독립과 진로태도성숙은 유의미한 상관을 보이지 않았으나, 하위 요인들 중 정서적 독립은 진로태도 성숙과 유의미한 정적 상관이 있었다.
둘째, 부모 지지는 심리적 독립에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 부모 지지는 심리적 독립 전체 변인 및 기능적 독립에는 부적 영향을, 정서적 독립 및 갈등적 독립에는 정적 영향을 미쳤다.
셋째, 부모 지지가 진로태도성숙에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으나, 그 설명력은 매우 낮은 수준이었다.
넷째, 심리적 독립이 진로태도성숙에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 주된 영향을 미치는 하위변인은 정서적 독립과 갈등적 독립으로, 정서적 독립은 정적 영향력을 갈등적 독립은 부적 영향력을 미쳤다.
다섯째, 부모 지지와 심리적 독립이 진로태도성숙에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 부모 지지와 심리적 독립이 각각 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향에 비해, 두 변인들이 함께 고려될 때 진로태도성숙에 대한 설명력이 다소 증가하였다.
이러한 결과들을 통해 부모 지지와 심리적 독립 및 진로태도성숙 간에 유의미한 상관이 있었으며, 부모 지지와 심리적 독립이 진로태도성숙에 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 청소년들은 부모로부터 지지를 받아야 하며 동시에 부모에게서 독립해야 한다. 본 연구는 부모 지지와 심리적 독립을 함께 고려하여 진로태도성숙과의 관계 및 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향을 밝혔다는 데 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among parental support, psychological separation, and career attitude maturity. According to this, this study was to provide fundamental data for the middle school students' career guidance.
In order to accomplish this purpose, the following subjects were set up :
First, what are the relationships among parental support, psychological separation, and career attitude maturity?
Second, does parental support affect psychological separation meaningfully?
Third, does parental support affect career attitude maturity meaningfully?
Fourth, does psychological separation affect career attitude maturity meaningfully?
Fifth, does parental support and psychological separation affect career attitude maturity?
To verify this, data of 331 students in second and third grade of 5 middle schools in Seoul, Gyonggi, and Incheon was collected using instruments to measure parental support, psychological separation and career attitude maturity. Data analysis was extracted using SPSSWIN package with correlation analysis and regression analysis.
The results of this study are as follows :
First, parental support was meaningful negative correlation with psychological separation. But there were differences in sub factors. Parental support was negative correlation with functional independence and attitudinal independence, was positive correlation with emotional independence and conflictual independence. And parental support was meaningful positive correlation with career attitude maturity and all sub factors except for independence. And psychological separation was not meaningful correlation with career attitude maturity, but emotional independence was positive correlation with career attitude maturity.
Second, parental support had meaningful influences on psychological separation. It had negative influences on the whole psychological separation and functional independence but had positive influences on emotional independence and conflictual independence.
Third, parental support had meaningful influences on career attitude maturity, but it was very low.
Fourth, psychological separation had meaningful influences on career attitude maturity. Principle factors were emotional independence and conflictual independence. Emotional independence had positive impacts on career attitude maturity, but conflictual independence had negative impacts on it.
Fifth, parental support and psychological separation had meaningful influences on career attitude maturity. They had more influences on it together than each.
From the above results, the researcher learned that parental support, psychological separation and career attitude maturity have meaningful correlations each other, and parental support and psychological separation have meaningful influences on career attitude maturity. Adolescents need parental support, and they also have to separate from parents. This study is meaningful in view of the fact that parental support and psychological separation were considered each and together, and showed meaningful correlations and influences concerning middle school students' career attitude maturity.
