영유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 자아상과 양육효능감 및 양육행동 간의 관계 분석 = The analysis of relationships among self-image, parenting efficacy, and parenting behavior of young children’s fathers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationships among self-image, parenting efficacy, and parenting behavior of young children’s fathers. The subjects of this study were 328 fathers of young children attending kindergartens and daycare centers. Pearson’s correlation coefficient was estimated to determine the association among the variables, and multiple regression analysis was performed to determine how the variables were affected. This study obtained the following results: First, significant correlation was found between the self-image and parenting efficacy of young children’s fathers and between every sub-factor. Second, significant correlation was found between the parenting efficacy and parenting behavior of young children’s fathers and between every sub-factor. Third, significant correlation was found between the self-image and parenting behavior of young children’s fathers and between every sub-factor. These findings suggested that the self-image, parenting efficacy, and parenting behavior of young children’s fathers are in a mutual static impact relationship.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 영유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 자아상과 양육효능감 및 양육행동 간의 관계를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 유치원과 어린이집에 재원 중인 영유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지 328명 이었다. 측정변인들 간의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 pearson적률상관계수를 산출하였으며, 상호 영향력을 알아보기 위하여 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 영유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 자아상은 아버지의 양육효능감과 유의한 상관관계를 나타냈으며, 모든 하위요인 간에도 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 아버지의 양육효능감은 양육행동과 유의한 상관관계를 나타냈으며, 모든 하위요인 간에도 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 셋째, 영유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 자아상은 아버지의 양육행동과 유의한 상관관계를 나타냈으며, 모든 하위요인 간에도 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 영유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 자아상과 양육효능감 및 양육행동은 상호 정적 영향 관계에 있다는 점에서, 영유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 바람직한 자아상 확립의 중요성을 시사하고 있다.
