한부모가정 및 일반가정 청소년의 불안, 사회적응 및 주관적 안녕감 간의 관계에서 낙관성의 조절효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 이혼율이 증가하는 가운데 한부모가정의 대표적인 사유가 되는 부모의 이혼이 미성년 자녀의 적응과 정신건강에 미치는 부정적인 영향에 대한 관심이 늘고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 한부모가정 청소년의 심리사회적 적응을 예측하는 보호요인을 파악하는데 그 목적이 있다. 보다 구체적으로는 한부모가정 청소년의 불안과 사회적응 및 주관적 안녕감 간의 관계에서 낙관성이 미치는 효과를 확인하고, 일반가정 청소년들의 양상과 비교하고자 하였다. 서울, 경기, 대전 등지의 중고등학교 한부모가정 청소년 80명 및 일반가정 청소년 98명을 대상으로 불안, 사회적응, 주관적 안녕감 및 낙관성을 측정하는 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 낙관성이 한부모가정 청소년들의 불안과 사회적응 및 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 유의한 조절효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 일반가정 청소년들에게서 불안과 사회적응 및 주관적 안녕감에 대한 낙관성의 조절효과는 유의하지 않았다. 즉 한부모가정 청소년들의 낙관성 점수가 높은 경우, 불안 수준이 높더라도 더욱 높은 사회적응과 주관적 안녕감을 나타내는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과에 기초해 낙관성을 중심으로 한부모가정 청소년들의 성공적인 심리사회적응 및 개입 방안 등에 대해 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present study investigated the moderating roles of optimism in the relationship between anxiety, social adaptation and subjective well?being in adolescents from single parent and intact families. The participants comprised 80 adolescents from single parent families and 98 adolescents from intact families. They were asked to complete the Childrens Attribution Style Questionnaire (CASQ), Taylor’s Manifest Anxiety Scale (TMAS), the Korean Version of the Social Adaptation Self?Evaluation Scale (KvSASS) and the Subjective Well?being Scale. The results revealed that optimism had significant moderating effects on the relationship between anxiety, social adaptation and subjective well?being in the single parent family group. However, no moderating effects of optimism was ound in the intact family group. Based on these findings, it is suggested that psychological interventions for successful psychosocial adaptation of adolescents from single parent families should focus on the question of optimism.
