유아의 행동적 자기조절력과 정서지능이 놀이성에 미치는 영향 = A Study on Young Children's Playfulness Relative to Behavioral Self-Regulation and Emotional Intelligence

The purpose of this study was to examine young children's playfulness in relation to behavioral self-regulation and emotional self-regulation. The subjects were 286 3-to 5-year-old children in Keyongbuk Province. Data were analyzed by regression analysis using SPSS. The major results of this study were that young children's playfulness was significantly related to “relationship skill with peers”, “relationship between child and teacher”, and “appraisal and expression of self emotion” in sub areas of emotional intelligence and “self-control” and “self-assertion” in sub areas of behavioral self-regulation. The results of this study confirmed that behavioral self-regulation and emotional intelligence are important factors in predicting playfulness of young children. Implications for future research and practice are discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아의 놀이성에 영향을 미치는 행동적 자기조절력과 정서지능과의 관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 경상북도에 위치한 유아교육기관에 재원 중인 유아 286명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 통계프로그램을 통해 상관계수와 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 유아의 행동적 자기조절력, 정서지능 및 그 하위요인들은 놀이성 및 놀이성의 하위요인과 대체로 상관관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 유아의 놀이성에 대해서는 또래와의 관계, 자기통제, 자기주장, 교사와의 관계, 감정의 조절 및 충동 억제, 그리고 자기정서의 인식 및 표현이 첨가되므로 그 영향력이 증가되는 것으로 나타났다.
