장애성인 평생교육 운영에 대한 특수교사의 인식 = Study of Special Education Teachers` Perception on the Lifelong Education for Adults with Disabilities

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for better systems of lifelong education for adults with disabilities by investigating special education teachers` perception on the education. The subjects were 159 special education teachers of special schools and were surveyed on the perception. The survey consists of 16 items(three open items included) and frequencies were analyzed. The results of study are as followings: First, the teachers think lifelong education for adults with disabilities is necessary, prefer group homes, and want integrated free-of-charge programs. They also want financial supports from government and public sectors. Second, professionals such as vocational special education teachers are needed for efficient program planning, operation, and evaluation. Third, they want Ministry of Health and Welfare as a control tower, and think 6 month～1 year career/vocational programs in general (integrated) lifelong education institute are proper in terms of disabilities. Fourth, it is necessary to provide disability pensions and tuitions for disability learners and financial supports for facility management to improve accessibility to the education.
