학교 평생교육의 활성화 방안

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 학교 평생교육의 필요성이 높아지고 있는 현실에서 학교 평생교육의 현황과 문제점을 분석하고 외국의 학교 평생교육 운영 사례에서 시사점을 도출하여 학교 평생교육의 활성화 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위한 구체적인 연구 문제는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 현재 학교 평생교육의 현황과 문제점은 무엇인가?
둘째, 외국의 학교 평생교육 운영 사례에서 얻을 수 있는 시사점은 무엇인가?
셋째, 학교 평생교육을 활성화할 수 있는 방안은 무엇인가?
본 연구문제를 해결하기 위해서 문헌분석방법을 사용하였으며, 교육부 보도자료 및 학교 평생교육 관련 보고서, 장학자료, 학교 평생교육 운영 결과 보고서 등을 종합하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
첫째, 학교 평생교육의 현황은 시범학교의 수가 계속 줄어들어 일반화 되고 있지 않았다. 문제점으로는 학교 평생교육프로그램의 양적·질적 미흡, 법·제도적 기반의 부족, 재정 지원의 부족, 평생교육 전용공간의 부족, 평생교육 전문가의 부족, 평생교육 전문가의 부족을 들 수 있다.
둘째, 외국의 학교 평생교육 운영 사례에서 얻을 수 있는 시사점은 학교 평생교육 운영에 있어 지역사회의 다양한 인적·물적 자원의 활용이 이루어지고 있어 학교를 중심으로 한 학교 평생교육이 매우 활발함을 알 수 있었다.
셋째, 학교 평생교육의 활성화 방안은 지역적 특징을 살린 맞춤형 프로그램 개발, 평생교육 관련 법규 정비, 재정적 지원의 확충, 전문 인력의 확충, 지역 네트워크 구축 등이다. 평생교육이 각종 한계를 극복하고 전시행정이 아니고 실질적인 교육으로 확산될 수 있도록 각종 제도를 마련해야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to suggest revitalizing method of school life long education after drawing implication in school life long education examples of other countries and analyzing status and problems of school life long education in present situation which raised its need.
Concrete study subjects to achieve aim of this study, suggest as below.
To solve the study subjects, library classification has used, and results as below were achieved by compositing of press release from Ministry of education, science and technology and reports related on school life long education and supervising materials , reports on school life long education results.
First, status of school life long education are not generalized due to decrease test schools. Lack of quantity and quality school life long education program, law and system, financial aid, space for school life long education, expertise for school life long education were shown as problems.
Second, implications in school life long education examples of other countries show that various man powers and materials resources are used schools as the center of school life long education, so we can know its active program.
Third, revitalizing methods of school life long education are tailored program for local characteristic, related law maintenance, expansion of financial aid, recruiting of expertise, building local network. And various systems are needed to spread school life long education to be real education after overcome all sorts of problems not for demonstration.
