의료관광 입지선정에 있어 관광인프라의 영향관계에 관한 탐색적 연구: 의료 공급자 관점으로 = An Exploratory Study on Effect Relationship of Tourism Infrastructure in Location Selection of Medical Tourism: From Medical Provider’s Viewpoint

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Foreign medical tourists visiting our country have increased from about 60,000 people in 2009 to 150,000 in 2010, and showed sustained growth. Further, we try to attract 1 million foreign medical tourists by 2020 as the midium- and long-term goals. At this time, many studies related with medical tourism are being conducted, but there is no research investigating the relationship between location of medical institution and tourism in terms of location. Thus, this paper tries to questingly investigate the relationship between location and tourism infrastructure (tourist attractions, tourism service aid, accomodations) from the medical provider’s point of view.
For this research I conducted a survey with doctors in medical institution interested in medical tourism, and used a factorial analysis and regression analyses (simple, multiple, stepwise). As a research result, both the location factor and tourism infrastructure had a significant impact on business performance, and it showed the importance in the order of building exterior>medical institution aggregation>tourism infrastructure. Through this, it is judged that health professionals providing medical tourism also recognize medical tourist characteristics.
