대학생의 정서·성격적 진로문제와 진로결정자기효능감의 관계에서 문제해결력의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effect of Problem-Solving Ability on the Relationship Between Emotional and Personality Career Difficulties and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy among College Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of problem-solving ability on the relationship between emotional and personality career difficulties and career decision-making self-efficacy among college students. For this purpose, data were collected and analyzed based on 357 college students from 7 colleges in Korea using the emotional and personality career difficulties scale, problem solving inventory, and career decision-making self-efficacy scale-short form. The results from this study are as follows: First, there was a negative correlation between emotional and personality career difficulties and career decision-making self-efficacy; a negative correlation between emotional and personality career difficulties and problem-solving ability; and a positive correlation between problem-solving ability and career decision-making self-efficacy among college students. Second, problem-solving ability had a partial mediating effect on the relation between emotional and personality career difficulties and career decision-making self-efficacy. Implications and study limitations as well as suggestions for further research are discussed.
