1세-3세 영유아의 발달과 애착의 관계 = Correlation between development and attachment in 1-to-3-year-olds

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the correlation between development and attachment in infants and toddlers (aged between one and three) and the effect of this development on attachment. The participants were 40 infants and toddlers that went to a family-home-style daycare in Gyeongnam province, and the average age was 31.48 months. The tools used to measure attachment and development were attachment Q-set (AQS) and mental development diagnostics for infants; the data were collected from their parents and caregivers. The collected data were analyzed using correlation analysis and simple regression analysis to examine the correlation between development and attachment and the effect of development on attachment. The results indicated that the comprehensive viewpoint and lower variables of each category (development and attachment) had significant correlations. Additionally, young children’s overall development in the exploration and control domain, social domain, and comprehension and language domain was identified to have a positive effect on stable attachment and compliance to rules (a lower variable of attachment) and a negative effect on children’s, which bothered the mothers. These results may provide useful information to help parents of young children understand the correlation between development and attachment and to assist in children’s holistic development and stable attachment formation, and may be used as research data to examine the correlation between development and attachment.
