조부모,부모의 양육태도와 자녀의 폭력가해경험간의 관계 = Relationship Between Parenting Attitudes and Child Offensive Behaviors

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study is to explore correlation among parental attitudes on school violence and their child`s offensive behavior. It also examine whether the parental attitudes transmitted thru generation from grandparents to parents and child. The data was collected from 7 middle schools in Seoul thru convenient sampling. 300 pairs of parents and their children answered the questionnaires and 265 pairs were used for final analysis. Demographic data and variables were correlated and structural equation modeling was adapted for statistical analysis. The results indicated that parental attitudes transmitted from grandparents to parents and finally affects child`s offensive behaviors. While parental attitudes are more acceptance toward violence, the child behaves less violent. This indicates that we have to teach parenting skills especially when there are offense behaviors manifested during middle school age.
