거버넌스로서의 지역사회복지협의체 참여성 평가

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article assesses how far current RCWCO have adopted the principles of public participation suggested by theories of governance. For that, this paper explores theories of the features of participation in terms of purpose, levels, arenas, empowerment process, and mandates as driving forces of public participation. Then, it assesses the level of participation by comparing current practical participatory policies of RCWCO with the theoretical features of participation. As a result, it is found that RCWCO participatory policies are located at a low level of participation in most features, and this raises challenges to enhance the regulation and empowerment process for people’s active participation.
