청소년자원봉사활동의 프로그램 활성화에 관한 연구 = A study on activating volunteer program for adolescents

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to figure out how to activate volunteer program for adolescents. To fulfill this purpose, this study sets following questions. First, how adolescents and staffs from volunteer centers recognize actual condition of volunteer activities? Second, how adolescents and staffs from volunteer centers differently recognize orientation and post-orientation? Third, How how adolescents and staffs from volunteer centers are aware of volunteer activities? Fourth, how adolescents and staffs from volunteer centers satisfy with volunteer activities? Fifth, how adolescents and staffs from volunteer centers recognize difficulties and problems of volunteer activities? Sixth, how adolescents and staffs from volunteer centers recognize ways to activate volunteer activities? This study includes 243 middle and high school students from Chungcheongnam-do and 77 staffs in volunteer centers from all over the nation. Specifically, 243 students split into 127 middle school students(consist of 62 male students and 65 female students) and 116 high school students(consist of 59 male students and 57 female students). And 77 staffs from volunteer centers consist of 26 male workers and 51 female workers. To investigate actual condition of volunteer activities and ways to activate volunteer activities, questionnaire designed for this study is used. And after questionnaire, the data go through frequency analysis, t-test analysis and difference analysis(X2) for further analysis. Many students primarily participate in volunteer activities for the first time when they are in middle school. Thus, this study tries to emphasize the importance of orientation, post-orientation and feedback after volunteer activities. Furthermore, to promote volunteer activities, this study also discusses ways to strengthen orientation, arrangement of experts in volunteer centers and management of experts. The conclusions of this study are as follows: We should develop various volunteer programs, arrange teachers responsible for volunteer activities and enhance method for evaluating volunteer activities. This study suggest that we should approach personality education which is fundamental goals of education, through activating volunteer activities.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 청소년자원봉사활동의 프로그램 활성화에 대하여 알아보는데 연구의 필요성과 목적이 있다고 하겠다. 이 연구의 문제는 다음과 같다. 청소년과 자원봉사 기관 종사자들 간에 자원봉사활동 실태는 어떠한가? 청소년과 자원봉사 기관 종사자들 간에 자원봉사 사전 및 사후 교육에 대한 차이는 무엇인가? 청소년과 자원봉사 기관 종사자들 간에 자원봉사에 대한 의식은 어떠한가? 청소년과 자원봉사 기관 종사자들 간에 자원봉사 만족정도는 어떠한가? 청소년과 자원봉사 기관 종사자들 간에 자원봉사 어려움 및 문제점은 어떠한가? 청소년과 자원봉사 기관 종사자들 간에 자원봉사활동의 활성화 방안은 어떠한가? 연구의 대상자는 충청남도에 소재한 중〮〮ㆍ고등학교에 재학 중인 243명의 학생들과 전국 청소년 자원봉사 기관에 종사하고 있는 기관종사자 77명을 연구대상자로 선정하였다. 중학생은 127명(남: 62명, 여: 65명)이었으며, 고등학생은 116명(남: 59명, 여: 57명)이었다. 자원봉사 기관종사자 중 남성은 26명이었고, 여성은 51명이었다. 연구도구는 자원봉사에 대한 실태조사 및 활성화 방안에 대해 조사하기 위해 자체 제작한 설문지를 사용하였다. 자료처리는 위하여 빈도분석, t-검증(t-test) 및 차이검증(X2 )을 실시하였다. 이 논문의 논의는 다음과 같다. 자원봉사에 최초로 참여하는 시기는 중학교 시기이며, 자원봉사의 사전 및 사후 교육의 중요성과 자원봉사 활동 후에 사후평가가 중요다고 본다. 아울러 자원봉사 활성화를 위해 자원봉사 사전교육 강화, 자원봉사 기관의 전문가 배치, 체계적 관리 등이 논의 되었다. 이 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 다양한 자원봉사 프로그램이 개발되어야 하고, 봉사활동 전담교사나 봉사활동과 관련된 문제를 상담할 수 있는 전문교사가 배치되어야 한다. 아울러 봉사활동 평가방법이 개선되어야 한다. 이 연구의 시사점은 청소년 자원봉사활동과 프로그램 활성화를 통하여 인성교육이라는 교육의 근본적인 목표에 더욱 접근하여야 할 필요성이 있다고 본다.
