조손가정 아동의 우울감과 학교적응유연성간 관계 = 임파워먼트의 조절효과를 중심으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to present the foundation of practice of interventions to promote the school resilience of children raised by grandparents and increasing rapidly due to family breakdown, change in family structure and social and environmental changes by verifying the moderating effect of empowerment in relationship between depressive symptoms and school resilience which children raised by grandparents have experienced. This study was conducted with targets of children raised by grandparents and attending elementary school located in Jeolla South Province where the percentage of children raised by grandparents was the highest in Korea from July 2011 to August 2011. A total of 136 cases were utilized for analysis. As a result of study, first, depressive symptoms of children raised by grandparents had significant correlation with school resilience. Second, the moderating effect of empowerment was verified in the relationship between depressive symptoms and school resilience. In other words, the difference in school resilience of children raised by grandparents appeared due to interaction of depressive symptoms and empowerment. Therefore, this study suggest for the practical interventions about depressive symptoms and promotion of empowerment as efforts to promote school resilience of children raised by grandparents based on the results.
