아동의 스트레스가 문제행동에 미치는 영향 : 연령에 따른 탄력성 매개효과를 중심으로 = Influence of Child’s Stress on Problem Behavior : Centered on the Resilience Mediator Effect according to Age

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The goal of this study is to find out what kind of mediator effect of resilience occurs according to the age in the influence of child’s stress in problem behavior. The data was collected for approximately five weeks from May to June in 2012. The study subjects were 309 students in total, 144 students in the 4th grade and 165 students in the 6th grade, attending two elementary schools located in Cheonan, Chungnam. The collected data was analyzed by using the SPSS 18.0 program and AMOS 18.0 program. As the result, for the lower graders, the resilience of children partly mediated the relationship of the child’s stress with internal problem behavior and external problem behavior. As for the upper graders, the child’s resilience could not mediate the relationship between the stress and internal problem behavior, and it mediated entirely in the relationship with external problem behavior. Such study results have significance in the fact that it discovered the differences of the mediator effects of resilience in the relationship between stress and problem behavior according to the age of child. However, the limit of this study is in that it did not examine the regulation effect regarding how resilience influences according to the level of stress. Therefore, it is necessary to verify the regulation effect of resilience effect in future study. Also, it suggests including the program for enhancing child’s resilience in the program development for treating problem behavior of child.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구는 아동의 스트레스가 문제행동에 미치는 영향에서 탄력성이 연령에 따라 어떠한 매개효과가 있는지 알아보는데 목적이 있었다. 자료 수집은 2012년 5월부터 6월까지 약 5주에 걸쳐 실시되었다. 대상은 충남 천안시에 소재한 초등학교 2곳에 재학 중인 4학년 아동 144명과 6학년 아동 165명으로 총 309명이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0 프로그램과 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석 하였다. 연구결과, 저학년의 경우 아동의 탄력성은 아동의 스트레스와 내면적 문제행동, 외현적 문제행동과의 관계를 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 고학년의 경우는 아동의 탄력성은 스트레스와 내면적 문제행동과의 관계를 매개 하지 못하는 것으로 나타났으며, 외현적 문제행동과의 관계에서는 완전매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 아동의 연령에 따라 스트레스와 문제행동간의 관계에서 탄력성의 매개효과는 차이가 있음을 밝혔다는 점에 연구의 이의가 있다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 스트레스의 수준에 따라 탄력성이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 조절효과를 살펴보지 못했다는 것에 한계가 있다. 따라서 추후 연구에서는 탄력성의 조절효과를 검증해볼 필요가 있다. 또한 아동의 문제행동을 치료하기 위한 프로그램 개발에 아동의 탄력성 향상 프로그램을 포함 할 것을 제안한다.
